New to Metro RESA Professional Learning! - School Social Worker Keys Effectiveness System (SSWKES) and Counselor Keys Effectiveness System (CKES) Training Sessions The School Social Worker Keys Effectiveness System (SSWKES) is a three-hour interactive session that trains leaders to implement Georgia's evaluation framework for school social workers. Participants learn the system's structure, practice standards, and performance criteria while engaging in case studies and collaborative discussions. The training builds confidence in conducting fair, meaningful evaluations that support professional growth and recognize school social workers' essential role in student success. Participants only need to register for one of the two session options. The Counselor Keys Effectiveness System (CKES) is a three-hour interactive session designed to help leaders understand and implement Georgia’s evaluation framework for professional school counselors. Aligned with the four components of a comprehensive school counseling program—Define, Manage, Deliver, and Assess—CKES provides a consistent approach to evaluating counselor effectiveness. Participants will explore the rubric, examine related documents, and engage in collaborative discussions to deepen their understanding of performance indicators. The training promotes productive evaluation conversations that foster professional growth, program improvement, and a shared commitment to student success. Participants should register for only one of the two options for sessions. This resource maps and guides the user through existing research and resources and provides practical advice for funders, multilateral organizations, and NGOs aiming to support FLN at scale.
