Technical Design White Paper: Nitric Oxide (NO) Pod System Enhancing Human Experience through Controlled Atmospheric Nitric Oxide Diffusion Prepared by: Aeon Mundi Research & Development Date: November 2025 1. Executive Summary The Nitric Oxide Pod System (NOPS) is an integrated microreactor-based diffusion system that produces and delivers controlled micro-concentrations of nitric oxide (NO) gas to enhance physiological and psychological wellbeing. Unlike medical NO delivery systems designed for acute pulmonary therapy, NOPS targets ambient and personal wellness applications, leveraging nitric oxide’s documented roles in vascular flow regulation, oxygenation efficiency, and cognitive modulation. The system is modular, compact, and environmentally responsive—merging chemical precision, sensor-based feedback, and aesthetic design to create a safe, user-adaptive atmosphere. 2. Background and Rationale 2.1 Physiological Context Nitric oxide (NO) is a bioactive signaling gas naturally produced by endothelial cells, neurons, and immune cells. It mediates vasodilation, neurotransmission, and cellular respiration. Reduced NO bioavailability is associated with fatigue, hypertension, cognitive decline, and stress. Enhancing NO presence in inhaled air at trace concentrations (1–5 ppm) may augment endothelial function, oxygen delivery, and overall sense of vitality—without pharmacological dosing. 2.2 Design Motivation While NO’s therapeutic use in clinical settings is established, no existing consumer-scale system offers safe, measurable, and aesthetically integrated diffusion of NO for wellness or environmental augmentation. NOPS addresses this gap through controlled on-demand generation and atmospheric modulation. The Nitric Oxide Pod System represents a new category of human-environmental interface, translating molecular science into a tangible sensory experience.By uniting precision chemistry, intelligent sensing, and design empathy, the NOPS platform aims to enhance everyday physiological equilibrium and presence — a synthesis of technology and the art of living.

✋ It wasn't us - honest truth! It was not by AMS's design or request that an article (p16) that promotes a legacy technology for removing carcinogenic hexavalent chromium but that includes both an image of the trucks that would be required to transport weekly thousands of gallons toxic waste from dozens of local communities to specialized treatment sites and also a 'health warning' from Ecolab that the technology may also generate radioactive waste was placed alongside a fact-based article (page 19) that compares competing treatment technologies. That article systematically addresses why these legacy technologies are not fit for pupose. This also calls into serious question why some leading consulting engineers continue to promote these legacy technologies rather than offering Californian communities the option of an approved and proven solution that has a 40% lower lifetime cost.
