Fascinating interview with Rapha Abreu from The Coca-Cola Company about what happens if a logo starts to learn from the designers working with it. Yes, a logo that learns. 🤯 Let me take this a thought and push it a step further. One of the most fascinating questions this generation of creative minds will have to answer is: what is an intelligent idea? We as a creative community have had the chance to rethink ideas when images became more realistic with the invention of photography. We had the chance to exam what ideas meant when they started to move, with the advent of video. We were challenged to rethink what ideas were when they became interactive, because of computers and the internet. Now that every thing in the world is inheriting a layer of intelligence, that too becomes our task. What is an idea that not only comes from intelligence, but IS intelligent itself? An idea that not only emerges from our learnings, but learns from the world around it. Ultimately, what is an idea that not only comes from creativity but IS creative; an idea that has its own ideas. Ideas that have their own ideas. 👀 Thet thought reminds me of when Prof Nicholas Negroponte, founder of the MIT MediaLab, told me that programming was society’s big experiment on thinking about thinking. We are now entering a creative realm of Creating Creativity. And that’s pretty wild.
