Altan Alpay liked thisAltan Alpay liked thisThrilled (and mildly confused) to witness that we’ve unlocked a new superpower: Being perceived as an expert in a field you discovered last Tuesday. It’s a fascinating paradox where we are simultaneously: • Expanding human potential • And outsourcing understanding We have officially democratized technical expertise. What once took years of study, late nights debugging, and existential crises can now be achieved in… about a week. Maybe less if your prompt engineering game is strong. We’re entering a world where: • Complex systems are built without knowing how they work • Thought leadership is just a well-structured LLM prompt away • Expertise is measured by how convincingly you can sound right There’s something beautiful about it. People who never had access—or confidence—to enter technical spaces are now building, shipping, and sharing ideas at scale. Hidden talent is surfacing. Curiosity is thriving. Barriers are falling. I’m genuinely amazed—and just a little amused—by how quickly we’ve moved from learning to build to prompting to build. The question now isn’t whether you can create something impressive. It’s whether you know why it works. Or if that even matters anymore. #AI #Agents #Innovation #ThoughtLeadership #satire #agenticsatire PS: I am also considering writing books on life, philosophy, different technical domains and last but not the least, building a billion $ product that I don’t have any idea about 🤑🤡

Here’s the tl;dr on why it actually matters: * More cost efficient - running complex AI agents takes a ton of compute. The new hardware (Vera Rubin chips) drops inference costs by up to 10x, making it actually affordable to run these systems at scale * Easier to use - NVIDIA's simulation software makes it easier to build digital twins of entire factories and train robots in the cloud before building anything IRL * More secure - confidential computing allows heavily regulated industries (like healthcare or finance) to use advanced AI without exposing their private data or prompts #AI #NVIDIA #GoogleCloud #Robotics #TechNews

It's been a true privilege to play a part in the transformation of real-time communication — from the early days of WebRTC in browsers, launching Google Duo on mobile, to redefining collaboration with AI in Google Meet. Google is a special place, and it's the people who make it so. I'm deeply grateful to everyone who believed in me, challenged me, added fun to the work, and gave me the opportunity to grow alongside such a world-class team. Thank you. A special shoutout to all Swooglers — the Google Stockholm office is a truly unique community 🇸🇪 More to come soon.

With optimizations ready in minutes instead of weeks, the workflow uses multi-agent LangChain Deep agent orchestration and GPU-accelerated solvers to turn natural language into optimized decisions. Spin it up instantly with a Brev Launchable (preconfigured GPU environment) and grab free developer credits while they last.

Altan Alpay liked thisAltan Alpay liked thisI recently shared that we’ve started a new team here at Amazon focused on something a little out there: building AI that lets our employees talk to robots. So naturally… we followed it up with a movie trailer. (Kind of.) This video gives a sneak peek into a day in the life of our team based at Lab126 in Sunnyvale. It’s where Alexa got its start—and now, the Alexa+ team is right next door. That’s by design. We’re able to tap into some of the same core technology and people powering that experience to help bring this new one to life. We’re what Amazon calls a two-pizza team—small enough that two pizzas could feed everyone. It’s one of those peculiar practices from the early days that’s stuck around because it works. Small teams mean more ownership, faster learning, and fewer layers to cut through. Our goal? Build an AI solution that powers more generalized robots employees can actually talk to—so they can get help with heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, and other physically demanding parts of the job. It’s early days, but the potential to help ease work for our frontline employees and make our global operations safer is something we’re really excited about. Big thanks to the team for jumping in on this (including the AI narrator voice), and to Greg Bensinger for the great Reuters write-up that digs deeper into what we’re building. Many enterprise GPUs run a single model during inference — even when it uses only ~30% of memory. So how much capacity is being left on the table? In our latest benchmark with Nebius, we used NVIDIA Run:ai fractional GPU allocation and NVIDIA NIM to measure real-world impact on throughput, latency, and concurrency. What we found: ✅ 86% of full GPU concurrent user capacity using just 0.5 slice ✅ 3× more users with mixed workloads on shared GPUs ✅ Near-linear scaling down to 0.125 slices ✅ Zero latency cliffs during autoscaling Stop GPU fragmentation. Start maximizing throughput. 🔗 Read the full deep dive: https://nvda.ws/3ZJgIbo

On top of the previous two articles, I wrote a new article on deploying Jupyter Notebook with GPU attached. The additional step is straightforward. We deployed a Kubernetes cluster on VMs. A GPU device is attached to a VM using device pass-through. We installed Nvidia operator on the Kubernetes cluster and enabled GPU sharing. The shared GPU resources are available to attach to multiple pods. We modified our Jupyter Hub deployment so that a new profile with GPU is added. We verified the GPU is used for computation in torch and Hugging Face code snippets. https://lnkd.in/g8paXZjf

NVIDIA’s latest RunAI benchmark is a masterclass in infrastructure optimization. Achieving 86% of full GPU concurrent capacity on just a 0.5 slice is a massive leap forward in solving the idle compute crisis. But what happens when you need to scale beyond the physical limits of OS-level virtualization? What happens when you are managing a 10,000-unit autonomous drone swarm or filtering millions of cryptographic signals, and you can't afford the microsecond latency of context-switching between Kubernetes pods? You have to move the solution from the Infrastructure Layer to the Algorithmic Layer. At Cascade Space Systems, we took a fundamentally different approach to GPU fragmentation: Tensor-Native Multiplexing. Instead of partitioning the hardware into "logical fractional boundaries" (which eventually hit a hard limit via MIG or Time-Slicing), our Omni-Sieve architecture weaves infinite parallel compute streams into a single mathematical fabric. By natively interleaving memory-heavy filtering with compute-heavy arithmetic inside the exact same CUDA/MPS kernel, we bypass OS virtualization entirely. The GPU doesn't switch contexts between users; it evaluates thousands of concurrent telemetry streams in a single, massive Tensor Warp. The results change the paradigm for defense and cyber-physical AI: 🚀 Infinite Terminals per Node: Bypassing the 7-slice MIG limitation. ⚡ Zero Context Switching: True synchronous, hard real-time execution. 🔒 100% Silicon Saturation: Forcing deterministic safety without sacrificing throughput. #NVIDIA #Runai brilliantly solved how to efficiently host the AI brain. Cascade Omni-Sieve solves how to efficiently enforce the physics and logic guardrails for that brain at a civilizational scale. Stop dividing the hardware. Start weaving the math. #DeepTech #NVIDIA #SpaceForce #CyberSecurity #EdgeComputing #ArtificialIntelligence #JADC2 #CascadeSpaceSystems Eric Schmidt Schmidt Futures Timothy Costa
