Fun fact - the Commerce Operations Foundation owns a key patent on flowing orders from agentic "heads" back to fulfillment via MCP. The foundation also owns two trademarks and one copyright on the key intellectual property behind the Order Network eXchange (onX) Standard. By being commonly owned by the Commerce Operations Foundation, this intellectual property can be used for the betterment of customer experience, rather than offensively for monetary gains by one vendor acting in bad faith.
