  • "Analysis of Top NBA stars Stats"

    -

Analyzed the top NBA stars Salary growth, Free throws attempts, field goals, Games played & Points
scored by using the R programming and tableau.
The N number of data of 20 top NBA stars from 2006 to 2015 were taken for analysis and their stats were analyzed to find who is best in field goals, 3 pointers, 2 pointers, free throws.
Their Salary growth was also increased over the years for each players.
The analyzed data are represented in Scatter plot, Bar chart etc.

  • Supply Chain Network Design to biofuel production plant set up in Texas

    -

The objective is to build a supply chain network with the least set up cost with meeting demand in Texas state . Setup minimization include Investment Cost, Fixed Cost and Outsourced cost.

The IISE logistics and supply chain challenge presents a case study about bio-ethanol production in the state of Texas. We are given with information about biomass supplies from every county. Potential locations for pre-processing hubs and refineries to convert biomass to bioethanol have been identified. The goal is to build a supply chain network to ensure lowest costs while meeting the demand requirements of the network. To solve this case study, we went about identifying the costs involved and the requirements to be met. Then, we built a mathematical program to minimize the costs subject to
certain constraints such as demand, capacities etc. We understood from the data that the company has to outsource a part of the production to meet the demand. So, we performed analysis on the market prices and inserted the analyzed data into mathematical model. Then, we coded the program in a solver and found the optimum network design.

  • Design, Analysis and Simulation of “Two Stage Vapor Absorption Heat Transformer(VAHT) coupled with Multi Effect Desalination

    -

The Growing energy demand and the use of fossil fuels like coal, oil, etc., leads to the fast depletion of resources and increases global warming. The energy source i.e. Thermal energy, like solar, geothermal energy and industrial waste heat can be economically upgraded and can be used for the processes which require heat energy at higher temperature. We used Double stage VAHT to upgrade heat energy. The waste heat upgraded in this process can be used for process like thermal desalination of…

The waste heat upgraded in this process can be used for process like thermal desalination of seawater to meet growing water demand. It is one of the In-exhaustible source of energy, we used the concept of increasing low temperature to useful temperature.
The VAHT works at two pressures and three temperature levels. The condenser and generator are at a lower pressure. The evaporator and absorber are at a higher pressure. Waste heat at medium temperature is supplied to the generator and the evaporator. A portion of the waste heat is upgraded in the absorber at a higher temperature and remaining heat is rejected at the condenser at a
lower temperature. We Increased the Specific enthalpy of evaporation, Absorber Temperature, Gross Temperature lift. We used C language to do Simulation and Analysis of this project, we wrote a C program and found the output how much amount of Effects of various operating temperature in Absorber heat output, Co-efficient of Performance (COP).

  • Design, Analysis and fabrication of Angle Bending operation by Hydraulic jack

    -

The angle bending operation by hydraulic jack is a device that employs a hydraulic jack to bend the sheet metal blank by mechanical action. The main objective of the proposed project is to reduce the cost of device selected for the bending purpose. It is also beneficiary for the operator who prefers an alternative way for bending. The press cannot be installed in diminutive areas whereas this device is compact to adapt easily. The materials of comparatively lower cost is used to fabricate the…

The materials of comparatively lower cost is used to fabricate the device. The sliding force, bending force, pressure force, are taken into consideration and the safe design values are calculated to proliferate safety.
In Angle Bending clamping beams hold the longer side of the sheet The beam rises and folds the sheet around a bend profile. The bend beam can move the sheet up or down, permitting the fabricating of parts with positive and negative bend angles. The resulting bend angle is influenced by the folding angle of the beam, tool geometry, and material properties. Using the ANSYS software we were able to find out the analysis results Bending load, bending pressure, Net permissible shear strength, Shear stress and we also calculated the by doing experiment the Values of the above parameters are calculated and compared with the ANSYS report values
