    The NASA Datanauts program is a collaboration between data scientists and NASA to solve problems, improve processes, and uncover insights using NASA Open Data. Projects are completed remotely within the Datanaut website and the Datanaut GitHub.

I cofounded and co-organize the local Austin, TX chapter of R-Ladies, which includes over 100 members. The Austin chapter meets frequently for a variety of meetups including lightning talks about new and interesting applications of the R language, a book club, networking events, guest speakers, and more.

During this event, we do introductions for all of the groups present and a preview of the events they have planned for the next quarter to introduce women to events or groups they might be interested in.

Each mentorship is project-based, and mentors and mentees are matched based on skillsets and common interests.
