🚨 Amazon is changing the rules for external tools We are seeing a major update to the Business Solutions Agreement (BSA). Effective March 4, 2026, the new terms go live for everyone. This matters to your operation and changes how your automation tools interact with your account. 🔶 Mexico gets a separate agreement A big change for North American sellers. Amazon is removing Mexico from the US and Canada agreement. Mexico will now have its own separate BSA starting in March. This shows Amazon is treating the Mexican market with its own rules. 🔶 The End of Anonymous AI If you use AI agents or automated software, they can no longer be invisible. Amazon now requires all automated tools to identify themselves at all times. They must also stop accessing your data immediately if Amazon requests it. 🔶 New Names for Old Portals Term changes matter for your tech stack. The 'Developer Site' is now the 'Solution Provider Portal'. Amazon also added formal definitions for what they call an 'Agent'. They are drawing a hard line around who can touch your data. 🔶 New Dispute Rules Section 20 is now a separate section. It explains how to handle legal fights. This applies to every seller and every tool operating in the marketplace. 🔶 The Operator's Action Plan Do not wait until the March 4 deadline to check your tech stack. -> Audit every third-party tool you use. -> Confirm with your software providers that they comply with the new Agent Policy. -> Update your internal SOPs for data usage. Here's a strategy that's helping our clients generate 10x more video testimonials without spending extra money. Make it ridiculously easy for customers to say yes. Most dealers ask for video testimonials at the wrong time, in the wrong way, with too much friction in the process. Here's what works: Ask immediately after delivery when emotion and excitement are highest.   Before you mention a testimonial, ask about the buying experience they just had with you.   Ask specific questions:   "How long were you in the market for a vehicle?"   "How many different stores did you consider?" "What led you to choose our store?" "How was your experience?"   The most important thing is to uncover “WHY.” Why did they choose you and your store?    Only after you have confirmed it was a positive experience, ask them to share their story with a video. People are more likely to share their story than give you a video. One is about them, and one is purely about you.    Make it optional and low-pressure, but most of all HAVE FUN! Celebrate the delivery. Some customers will be eager to share. Others won't. Both responses are fine. The sales teams that are doing this consistently are getting video testimonials from 20 percent of their delivery customers for one simple reason – they are asking.  Your most powerful marketing asset is your happy customers.
