In the U.S., the newly imposed $100,000 yearly fee for H1-B visa holders has fundamentally altered the cost calculus for companies seeking global talent. For many firms, this doubles down on an already challenging reality: specialized talent in the U.S. is becoming more expensive and harder to access. Meanwhile, across Europe, Africa, and Asia, governments are tightening or shifting tax regimes, creating friction for relocation-driven hiring. The implication? Remote-first, globally distributed teams are no longer a trend; they’re a survival strategy. ✨ This is where opportunity lies. Instead of paying inflated relocation premiums, companies can unlock world-class talent across Africa - a region combining technical excellence, English fluency, and time-zone alignment with Europe and the U.S. At Loubby AI and DivVerse Labs, we’ve spent years building the infrastructure and services to make this seamless: ✅ Best in class AI-powered workforce platforms to manage distributed teams. ✅ Automation agents that cut operational costs by up to 75%. ✅ Training accelerators that consistently produce job-ready specialists. Our talent pool of over 150,000, strengthened and stress-tested by working with global leaders across tech, finance, and creative industries, is not just available but proven. from fintech to creative industries, companies have recently scaled faster and leaner through our ecosystem, and we have many other case studies showing how we help companies around the world access the same caliber of talent as their American and Indian counterparts at a fraction of the cost, sometimes up to 75% less. In addition to talent, we provide the tools and services to manage distributed teams seamlessly. Companies that work with us face no paperwork, no overhead, and still remain fully compliant, allowing them to focus on growth while we take care of the complexity. The next decade of hiring will be defined by those who pivot: 🔹 From relocation to remote. 🔹 From scarcity to abundance. 🔹 From cost centers to value creation. The U.S. may have priced H1-B talent at $100K+, but the smartest companies will see this as a catalyst, not a constraint. We’ve been preparing for this moment for years. How is your company rethinking global hiring in light of these shifts? #FutureOfWork #GlobalHiring #RemoteWork #DistributedTeams #WorkforceTransformation #LoubbyAI #DivverseLabs Image Source - Business Today

From concept to coordination, ACTP has been a journey of innovation, collaboration, and impact. The platform is designed to transform how smallholder farmers, aggregators, warehouse operators, banks, and regulators engage within Nigeria’s agricultural value chain. We were honored to welcome Hon. Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, and Mr. Anthony Atuche, CFA, Managing Director of NCX, alongside representatives from Propcom+, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and other key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors. The workshop brought together critical voices aligning on a shared vision, validating design decisions, and sparking fresh ideas to advance agricultural trade in Nigeria. 📸 Swipe through the pictures to see highlights from the day's activities from presentations to group discussions and networking moments. 👏 Kudos to our dedicated team and visionary partners driving this transformation forward! #ACTP #Agritech #DigitalTransformation #InterraNetworks #Agriculture #NCX #CommodityTrading #StakeholderEngagement #Innovation #Nigeria #FMITI #Propcom+ #FCDO

David Onu liked thisDavid Onu liked thisThe introduction of our Electric Bikes includes the establishment of three battery swap stations located in Abeokuta at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Pansheke Skating Ground, and Oke Sokori. These stations are among the selected sites currently receiving an uninterrupted power supply from the State's Independent Power Plant (IPP). Each station can simultaneously charge 24 batteries, amounting to a total of 72 batteries across the three locations. We aim to implement a more sustainable energy solution by expanding the capacities of the existing swap/charging stations and by increasing the number of stations throughout the state.

As we strive to position our nation as a destination for Foreign Direct Investment, improved cybersecurity will play a critical role in ensuring that we create the right environment for investors and local stakeholders to operate and thrive. We hope to continue to find ways to leverage technology to support the stellar work of the Nigeria Police Force under the leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, in addressing cybercrime and other security challenges.

Nigeria’s fourth-largest telecom operator, 9mobile, has officially rebranded to T2, unveiling a new name and identity at a Lagos event titled Tech Meets Tenacity at Eko Hotels and Suites. The rebrand replaces the company’s familiar green with a bold orange, signaling a strategic shift in operations and market positioning. CEO Obafemi Banigbe said the move aims to redefine T2’s role in the telecom industry, stating, “We are not playing catch-up, but to lead in the industry.” The event drew top industry figures, including Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, with entertainment by Darey Art Alade and live performances. Once known as Etisalat Nigeria with over 22 million subscribers, the operator—later 9mobile—faced financial troubles, infrastructure decline, and subscriber losses, falling to 3.2 million active users by January 2025. To recover, T2 recently signed a national roaming deal with MTN Nigeria to expand coverage and improve service quality. The rebrand is part of a broader push to stabilise operations and compete in Nigeria’s evolving telecom market. MTN spectrum lease deal revives hope for T2mobile MTN Nigeria has received approval from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to lease spectrum from T2mobile under a three-year agreement beginning October 1, 2025. The lease will cover 5 MHz in the 900 MHz band and 15 MHz in the 1800 MHz band. The arrangement is tied to a national roaming agreement between both operators, which will allow T2mobile’s subscribers to connect via MTN’s infrastructure in locations where T2mobile lacks sufficient coverage. As part of this spectrum realignment, MTN will not be renewing its ongoing one-year lease with Natcom Development & Investment Limited (NTEL), which is set to expire on November 29, 2025. That lease currently covers 5 MHz in the 900 MHz band and 10 MHz in the 1800 MHz band across 17 states. Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/dCDbzBZ8

We need to make 12-15% growth the norm over the next three years. By then, with AI's power, we can build robust healthcare in rural areas, secure our customers, and create meaningful jobs. The best part? We in the telecom industry can collaborate to make this happen.

Nigeria’s telecom market is now a duopoly, with MTN and Airtel controlling 86% of it. So, what’s next? Should we push for a Glo–T2 merger to create a third national player? Not so fast. Case studies show that merging two struggling operators doesn’t magically create competition. Just look at Airtel–Tigo in Ghana: without fresh capital, governance reform, and execution muscle, it was a merger in name only. What Nigeria needs isn’t cosmetic competition, but sustainable competition. A Glo–T2 merger could work, only if it’s market-led, capital-backed, and execution-driven. I believe the future of competition in Nigeria will be shaped by two strong national networks, a revitalised wholesale layer and a vibrant MVNO ecosystem. This is how the market will drive improved quality, affordability, and innovation. 2026 might just be the year of the MVNO in Nigeria, because going head-to-head with MTN and Airtel? That ship may have sailed. However, this duopoly has ignored niche markets, and that's where the MVNO opportunity exists.

Nigeria’s telecom masts face soaring diesel costs and grid outages, but solar power offers a solution. With 5–7 hours of sunlight and up to 7 kWh/m²/day of solar radiation, a 15–20 kWp solar PV system can meet 60–80% of a mast’s 120–168 kWh/day demand, slashing fuel costs. Paired with lithium-ion batteries and Makelsan’s robust UPS systems, We ensures seamless power for 4G and 5G networks. Our hybrid approach minimizes downtime and carbon emissions, powering Nigeria’s connectivity sustainably. #SolarEnergy #NigeriaTelecom #ActologSolutions
