Not pushing them down. Or pretending you're "fine." Just feeling. 2. They set boundaries even when it's awkward. Because disappointing others beats betraying yourself. 3. They own their mistakes without drowning in shame. "I messed up" is different from "I'm a mess up." 4. They celebrate others' wins without comparing. Someone else's success doesn't make you a failure. 5. They ask for help before they're desperate. Pride is expensive. Connection is priceless. 6. They question their negative thoughts. Just because you think it doesn't make it true. 7. They rest without calling themselves lazy. Your worth isn't tied to your productivity. 8. They focus on what they control. Everything else is wasted energy. 9. They change their minds when they learn better. Growth requires letting go of old beliefs. 10. They seek discomfort on purpose. Because comfort zones don't grow people. 11. They practice gratitude during hard times. Not to bypass pain, but to find perspective. 12. They protect their peace from energy vampires. Your mental health matters more than their opinion. 13. They forgive but remember the lesson. Letting go isn't the same as letting them back in. And I've learned that mental strength is contagious. When you model these behaviors, others notice. Your courage gives them permission to be courageous. Your authenticity invites their authenticity. Your strength inspires their strength. India's group health segment faces a critical inflection point with RBC (April 2026) and Ind AS 117 implementation. Current group mediclaim incurred claim ratios of 98.84% are structurally untenable under risk-weighted capital and transparent profit recognition. The dual regulatory shift will force a ₹20-50 crore capital injection per ₹500 crore premium portfolio or equivalent business exit/repricing. Group health insurers.will reprice business by 10-25% and optimize reinsurance, or face solvency breaches within 12-18 months post-implementation. Ind AS 117 unmasks loss-making business immediately through Contractual Service Margin (CSM) recognition. A group with 98% loss ratio generates negative CSM at inception—losses recognized upfront, not deferred. This transparency eliminates the accounting flexibility that previously masked unprofitable business. Combined Impact: Ind AS 117 unmasks loss-making insurance business through transparent CSM recognition; RBC simultaneously penalizes those losses with higher capital charges. Ind AS 118 (April 2027) then discloses the resulting squeeze in operating profit. Together, these three standards create unprecedented financial transparency and capital discipline, forcing insurers to abandon loss-making products or repricing aggressively. RBC and OOP:European Union (Solvency II, 2013-onwards) Solvency II's 99.5% VaR capital framework forced European insurers to increase capital by €10-37 billion cumulatively.The response: (1) Product redesign—elimination of guaranteed-return annuities, reduced death/disability coverage guarantees to lower capital charges (2) Coverage narrowing—annual/lifetime reimbursement limits tightened; exclusions broadened for "non-essential" treatments Patients with supplementary private insurance in Solvency II-regulated markets (Denmark, Austria, Italy, Spain) experienced higher out-of-pocket costs despite having insurance, because insurers shifted costs to consumers via benefit restrictions and coverage ceilings.
