Last week in Jakarta, I had the privilege of addressing the APNIC Annual General Meeting. It was a valuable opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come together and to share how closely APNIC and the APNIC Foundation are aligned in our vision for the Internet in our region. I spoke about the Foundation’s growing portfolio of work across digital infrastructure, capacity building, research and techno‑policy engagement, all aimed at supporting an open, stable and secure Internet through #ActionNotWords. Most of all, I was reminded how much this progress depends on a committed community of partners and practitioners across the Asia Pacific — thank you to everyone who continues to invest time, expertise and energy in this shared mission. #APNICFoundation #APNIC #AsiaPacific #InternetGovernance #DigitalDevelopment

It was a blessing to hear from two seasoned leaders recently. Usec. RJ Echiverri, Deputy Director General for Administration and Finance of the Anti-Red Tape Authority, shared a line from the CES Pledge that stayed with me: "I shall bring change where this is needed, expertise where this is missing, and leadership where this is wanting." It is a call not just to occupy a position, but to fill gaps and make a difference where it matters most. Dr. Gaspar Gayona, Former Dean of the Development Academy of the Philippines, echoed a principle of good governance that is just as clear: do more with less, and measure success not by what you produce, but by what actually changes because of it. Outcomes, not outputs. I am grateful to both for the reminder of why we serve and what we are called to be. #PPSC

Build for Bharat spotlight series: Full Stack Cohort Introducing the second cohort of Build for Bharat Fellows, ready to leave their mark in GovTech across four critical tracks: Product Design, GIS, Data Science, and Full Stack. For our Full Stack track, we had ~3,200 people apply. Our selected fellows showed promise of being future public technologists who would use their engineering skills to optimize for both efficiency and equity, and proceed with empathy and care. They'll be heading to Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (GoIStats), Indian Highways Management Company Ltd. (IHMCL), Rural Development and Panchayat Raj - Government of Karnataka, and Chennai Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority (CUMTA). Earlier this month, we were pleased to host a virtual deep dive session for our members with U.S. International Development Finance Corporation's Nafisa Jiwani, former Associate Vice President of Health Initiatives, and Monisha Ashok, Director of Health Investments.
