There’s no doubt I became a better marketer at Cameo, and I have my teammates to thank for that. A special thanks to those on the marketing team whom I worked most closely with – Lauren Valentine, Rachael Wheat, Emily Holman, Ashley Helms, Austin Toli, Devin Benison, Meghan Smith, Elisa Jardines, and Nancy Seang. This also marks the end of my 6+ years at Represent.com, which was acquired by Cameo in 2021. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to create and market apparel for the world’s top celebrities, athletes, actors, creators, and musicians. The Represent team became family, and I'm fortunate to leave the company with phenomenal memories and lifelong friendships. Thank you to Robbie Zhang-Smitheram, Daniel Rosenberg, Bobby Maylack, Matthew Myers, Donovan Mckinney, Mark Moore, Jon Colesby, Dave Sanders, Vincent F., David Childs, Jeff Heddaeus, Victor G., Jon Hart, Jakub Kypet, Michal Šimonfy, Robert Frecer, Kelly Morin, Lex Hockey and many others for making Represent such a fun, fulfilling place to work. This is a long-winded way of saying I’m #opentowork and in search of new marketing opportunities! I’ve led teams for the past 8 years and my focus areas have been social advertising and CRM, primarily within e-commerce. Feel free to reach out!

Jakub Filo reacted on thisJakub Filo reacted on thisThe last 9 years in the custom merch industry have flown by; it’s the end of an era and a sad week. From joining Custom Ink in 2014 to being a part of the Represent family post-acquisition in 2018, then going through the rollercoaster of challenges and triumphs with the acquisition by Cameo in 2021. I grew a lot in those years. I learned to be an entrepreneur, to be resourceful, and creative. Most importantly, I met some amazing friends across the globe. The five years at Represent were one hell of a ride. We were a small, yet mighty team that could do the impossible. One person could do what others required an entire department to do, and we wore that with a sense of pride. From our engineers and CS team in the Czech Republic to our talented Designers, Biz Dev, Marketing, and Operations team across the US, we showed up for each other daily 'cause we knew we were in this together. We survived the pandemic together, got to work with some amazing talent, and built relationships with vendors around the world. We were each other's reason to stay, and we did it until the end. In the end, most of us were unfortunately affected by a significant downsizing in the business. And that's life! We've seen it around us over the past few years, so it's no surprise that the time has come, but it doesn't make it any easier. To those affected by this, I'm sorry, I know this stinks. This is not a reflection of you or your work ethic, and I have no doubts we'll land on our feet, 'cause it's what we've always done. To prospective employers, if you see that "Represent" name on a resume, rest assured that person can move mountains, and I encourage you to take care of them. Thanks for the past 9 years, friends, and “Thanks, Custom Ink!” and Represent for the adventure. It's been fun!

However, as all good things must come to an end, I was impacted by today's layoffs. I had a blast working alongside the most talented and supportive group of individuals for the past 2.5 years. I'm taking a moment to prepare myself for the next chapter of my career, but in the meantime, please let me know of any open roles for Front-End/Fullstack mid-level engineering positions. #opentowork LA/OC or Remote preferred 🙏

My knowledge of information systems was further expanded during my master's program.
I defended my thesis on "Design, Creation, and Implementation of Software Applications in the Corporate Environment."
For this project, I developed an inventory management information system from scratch.
This included everything from initial requirements and analysis to a fully-fledged product, complete with an API backend, reactive frontend, and a CI/CD pipeline.
The resulting application's…My knowledge of information systems was further expanded during my master's program.
