Education
International Honors Programs (IHP) begin with two weeks in the United States before moving on to spend 4-5 weeks in each of three other countries on different continents to give students a comparative look at a critical global issue such as health, human rights, climate change, cities, food systems, or geopolitics. By analyzing issues and systems from a local to global scale, students begin to understand their complexities and the challenges of addressing them. These academically rigorous…
International Honors Programs (IHP) begin with two weeks in the United States before moving on to spend 4-5 weeks in each of three other countries on different continents to give students a comparative look at a critical global issue such as health, human rights, climate change, cities, food systems, or geopolitics. By analyzing issues and systems from a local to global scale, students begin to understand their complexities and the challenges of addressing them. These academically rigorous programs emphasize the multidisciplinary analysis of issues and integrate experience-based learning through 30+ site visits during the semester.
