“Saket has done an excellent job with all his endeavors - including internship at IBM India Software Labs, organizing IT-BHU's CodeFest '11 and then as an entrepreneur at Edulution Technologies. I had been with him for 4 years and can confidently recommend him to anyone who looks for developers with a passion for what they do. Saket is an excellent innovator and ideas can pop up in his head any time. He is quite hard working and works cleverly. For example, he would rather write down a script to automate a process execution rather than executing the process repeatedly. He could be called as close to being a perfectionist who likes to finish work properly rather than leave them hanging up. [He made sure that proper documentation for all that he did at internship was provided for future work.] He is a joy to work with. During our internship experience at IBM, he contributed to the project with composure and utmost diligence. He provided an additional creative input by designing posters for project and an animation video displaying our project's objectives and results. [This effort was applauded by all who viewed it during final presentation.] He knows how to handle multiple responsibilities at the same time. [He was involved as Training and Placement representative for the CSE batch of 2007-11 at IT-BHU, simultaneously coordinating CodeFest '11 and also balancing time for his own placements - and of course his endeavors as an entrepreneur at Edulution Technologies deserve to be mentioned. Still, ended up with a GPA of 8.34/10 in 8th semester.] He is a friendly person with superb interpersonal skills and is one of the brightest and most talented people I've known. He has great skills and depth of understanding of his areas of interest - that would extend through core fields of Computer Engineering, web designing, graphic designing and also his general awareness. Yet, he continues to surprise me by his various activities. [Recently he got selected as Google Summer of Code student at Google]. He is a valuable resource and would undoubtedly add value to any organization he works for.”

Analysis of HEFT & CPOP Implementation on special cases
Papyrus, Magnum Opus 2009, IT-BHU
In a heterogeneous computing environment, efficient scheduling of an application(s) among heterogeneous processors interconnected by high-speed networks gives high performance in this kind of environment. Application scheduling problem has been shown to be NP-complete in general cases as well as in several restricted cases. This problem has been extensively studied and various algorithms have been proposed in the literature which are mainly for systems with homogeneous processors. In this…
In a heterogeneous computing environment, efficient scheduling of an application(s) among heterogeneous processors interconnected by high-speed networks gives high performance in this kind of environment. Application scheduling problem has been shown to be NP-complete in general cases as well as in several restricted cases. This problem has been extensively studied and various algorithms have been proposed in the literature which are mainly for systems with homogeneous processors. In this paper, we presented two low-complexity list-scheduling algorithms for a bounded number of heterogeneous processors to obtain high performance, which are called the Heterogeneous Earliest-Finish-Time (HEFT) algorithm and the Critical-Path-on-a-Processor (CPOP) algorithm.
