Hospitals often see drop-offs between maternity OPD visits and delivery. Nine months is a long journey, and without timely, personalized communication, patients disengage. With AiVANTA's IMPACT platform, hospitals can deliver empathetic video messages—tailored to each stage, in the patient’s own language—building trust and improving continuity of care. Because pregnancy isn’t just medical, it’s emotional. #HealthcareInnovation #PatientExperience #AiVANTA #AIVideo #MaternityCare

The acceleration of AI and blockchain in healthcare is operational with quick transformation across healthcare and life sciences. Mohan Venkataraman shares bold predictions in the BHTY 2026 Healthcare Predictions article at DOI: https://lnkd.in/e6yRqC9C Here’s what’s coming: 🔹 Agentic AI transforming legacy systems Pharma supply chains, revenue cycle management, payer operations, and personalized insurance models are shifting from traditional BPM and middleware to generative AI driven orchestration. 🔹 Smaller, domain specific models Healthcare is moving beyond bulky general purpose LLMs toward precision trained, specialized models designed for clinical, regulatory, and operational use cases. 🔹 Trust + Intelligence + Compliance Blockchain infrastructure combined with AI is aligning with HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC 1, and SOC 2 standards — making compliance a catalyst for innovation, not a constraint. 🔹 Consumer facing AI health tools From personalized wellness assistants to care plan managers and intelligent chat tools, AI and blockchain are entering everyday healthcare experiences. The convergence of decentralized infrastructure and intelligent systems is redefining how healthcare is delivered, managed, and trusted. 👉 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/e6yRqC9C 👉 Explore the full current issue of BHTY: https://lnkd.in/ejCSc8z7 #AIinHealthcare #BlockchainInHealthcare #DigitalHealth #HealthInnovation #HealthTech #DecentralizedHealth #HealthcareTransformation

Bessemer Venture Partners • 17K followers
Excited to share that Bessemer Venture Partners has led Sukino Continuum Care’s $31M Series B, backing a category that India’s healthcare system has quietly ignored for far too long: long-term recovery and rehabilitation. I come from a family of doctors, and I’ve grown up watching how stretched our healthcare system can be, especially for patients who survive the acute phase of an illness, only to be left on their own for recovery. Over the last few years, that conviction has only strengthened: India doesn’t just need more hospitals, it needs a new layer of care focused on getting people back to living. The country accounts for ~10% of global stroke cases, and millions of patients each year need 6-8 weeks of physical, speech, occupational, and psychological therapy after events like stroke, cancer, or major orthopedic surgery. Yet the healthcare infrastructure is not optimized for slow, structured work of recovery. Families are left to bridge that gap on their own. That’s what Sukino bridges. I first met Rajinish M. back in 2017, and what stood out even then was the clarity of the problem he and Shalini Menon were trying to solve: building dedicated, protocol-driven recovery centers for patients who need weeks, not days, of care. Today, Sukino operates 850+ beds across 11 centers in Bangalore, Kochi, and Coimbatore, delivering multidisciplinary rehab for stroke, neuro, oncology, and ortho patients. Two powerful tailwinds are now making this model work at scale: • Insurance is finally starting to cover 60–90 days of structured rehab, making quality recovery affordable. • Families are becoming more open to institutional recovery, recognizing that specialized environments lead to better outcomes. At Bessemer, we believe organized, single-specialty healthcare platforms will be the next big unlock for India, and Sukino is building exactly that for long-term care. Grateful to partner with Rajinish, Shalini, and the Sukino team alongside Vishal Gupta as they build the backbone of India’s continuum care ecosystem. https://lnkd.in/gvFAzEmZ CC: Vishal Gupta, Nithin Kaimal, Karan Pahwa, Jesika Babel, Priya Kale, Deepa Papanna, Vivek Iyer, Arnav Patni

AI search is emerging as a meaningful new lead channel. India-founded startup Gushwork recently raised $9 million in a seed round led by Susquehanna International Group and Lightspeed Venture Partners to help businesses surface inside AI-driven discovery platforms such as OpenAI, Perplexity AI, and Google. The company reports more than 300 paying customers and approximately $1.5 million in annualized recurring revenue a few months after launching its AI-search-focused product, with strong recent growth and a substantial waitlist. According to its internal data, around 20% of customer traffic comes from AI-driven search and chat platforms, generating a disproportionately higher share of inbound leads. What’s unfolding is less hype and more structural evolution. Search behavior is expanding beyond traditional results pages into AI summaries, conversational interfaces, and AI-assisted browsing. Buyers are increasingly asking models direct, decision-oriented questions, which shifts visibility from keyword ranking toward being cited inside generated answers. That requires brands to build machine-readable authority through structured content, credible references, and consistent topical depth rather than relying solely on conventional SEO tactics. For marketing and tech leaders, the implication is pragmatic. Traffic volume may matter less than intent quality, as AI-driven discovery appears to capture users further along in the buying journey. Execution-heavy optimization work is becoming more automatable through AI agents, while human teams focus more on positioning and differentiation. High-consideration B2B sectors may feel the impact earlier, given their research-driven purchasing processes. The broader takeaway is simple: as AI systems increasingly mediate discovery, brand visibility will depend not only on ranking in search engines but on being recognized and surfaced by large language models when buyers ask who to trust. https://lnkd.in/egvj4PnM

Yesterday’s encounter that reminded me why protocols matter more than platforms. Had an inspiring conversation with Rajeesh Menon, whose work spans the entire digital infrastructure ecosystem that’s quietly revolutionizing how we think about systemic change. From EkStep Foundation to Beckn Open Collective, Rajeesh embodies something crucial: building systems that serve rather than surveil, that empower rather than extract. What excites me most is exploring how our community-driven approach (SAOcommons) to human capital indexing (WellbeingProtocol) could plug into this broader ecosystem of digital public / common goods. The goal? Value redistribution that’s signal-based and equitable rather than platform-captured. But this conversation also surfaced some critical questions I’m wrestling with: 1) “Emission” vs “Collection” of data 2) Deep Thinkers' Collective. 3) Anti-hive-mind design - How does TheInternetOfValue preserve individual agency while enabling collective intelligence? 4) “Weaponising” context ? If you’re working on systems that put livelihoods with dignity at the center, Rajeesh Menon is building something remarkable. Worth following his journey. Thanks for the active listening and questions, Rajeesh!

Healthcare is full of billion dollar ideas. The hard part is making them work for a patient on a Tuesday afternoon. Looking forward to speaking at Future Economic Cooperation Council (FECC) GEC 2026 on Healthcare and MedTech at the Crossroads of Innovation, Access and Scale. We will explore how innovation in devices, biotech, AI, and manufacturing can balance affordability, regulatory complexity, and global delivery. The real question is straightforward. Can innovation move from conference stages to hospital floors? The broader forum brings together leaders including the CEO of the Rockefeller Foundation Rajiv J. Shah Reliance Industries Limited Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and Ministry of External Affairs, India’s Dr. S. Jaishankar, alongside policymakers, investors, and operators. As a physician turned operator and investor, and now CEO of Tend Health, I have learned that scale is less about headlines and more about systems. At Tend, we focus on building infrastructure that expands access to confidential mental healthcare for clinicians across institutions. Supporting the workforce behind healthcare is not a side conversation. It is the system. Grateful to Priyam Gandhi-Mody Asha Yadav and the entire Future Economic Cooperation Council (FECC) team for curating such an important platform. #GEC2026 More information: https://lnkd.in/df624WQf
