“I am fortunate to have a position where I enjoy and look forward to going to work everyday, and a big part of that was because of Scott Wood. Scott has a contagious personality, we have shared many laughs, and became fairly close over our time together at NetApp. Scott is a genuinely awesome individual who leads with honesty, transparency, and laughter, whether it's laughing with him or at him, either way, he brought a lot of needed positivity to the team. Not only was Scott a great person to work with, he was eager. Scott always wanted to do the best he could, and do work that made our leaders and Hiring Managers proud, and he did. He wanted to learn as much as he could to be the best Recruiter he could be. There was no task, or no requisition, that Scott would not take on. He was always the first to raise his hand. Scott came to NetApp with no Cloud, SaaS, or Storage experience, and walked into a particularly high pressure, extremely fast paced, team where out the gate he was helping manage a requisition load of 35+ open positions for hard to find, hard to fill, DevOps talent. He crushed it. We closed all the positions, and received accolades for the work we were able to accomplish (with 90 percent passively sourced talent, by the way). The bottom line is that Scott will work hard for any organization he joins, and he will bring a fun, lighthearted, driven, and ambitious personality with him. Scott was the heart and soul of our recruiting pod, he will be so missed. I would recommend him for any Recruiting related position, and would in a heartbeat, love to work with him again in the future.
