Monumental fumble again regarding OpenClaw by Anthropic. All of the good will earned in the back half of 2025, 2x holiday credits, OpenAI ad, and recent positive press are being burned by their attorneys and developer anti-evangelism.

So which models produce HTML that has the least accessibility errors, and at what cost? Mapped it out here (bottom left is the best). This is helpful for understanding which models are most compliant for those with disabilities and do it efficiently. Qwen and Gemini 2.5 Flash lead the pack. Claude Code + Opus is now excellent at surfacing unknowns in large codebases and for epic sized projects. If you're not starting every epic with AI research spikes and pre-spike clarifications, you're missing a big part of first delivery success. MACH is in the Trough of Disillusionment. In our latest Hype Cycle for APIs, Mike Lowndes positions MACH sliding down from the peak: https://lnkd.in/ej2ZyYEN [Gartner sub req'd, preview available]. As is inevitable with any technology past the peak of the Hype Cycle, negativity on MACH has been growing in the market. Mariano Gomide de Faria - VTEX posted this back in March: "Let's be brutally honest: The pure best-of-breed MACH approach has created as many problems as it has solved." https://lnkd.in/ezZ9EfW6 . This type of sentiment shows that disillusionment is setting in. Our own Gartner advice on MACH is practical and pragmatic.
