What does Mom actually do at work all day? 🤔 An Amazonian brought her kids (and their four-legged sibling) into our Sydney office to find out. They shadowed their mom through her day, sat in on meetings, and tried to guess her job title — with some very creative answers. This Mother's Day, we're celebrating the incredible moms at Amazon who show up and make an impact every day. Happy Mother's Day. 💛
Info
Was wir damit meinen?

Today we’re introducing Amazon Supply Chain Services—making our freight, distribution, fulfillment, and parcel shipping capabilities available to any business, in any industry. Our fast, reliable delivery is at the core of how we delight Amazon customers. 20 years ago, we started building what would become one of the most advanced supply chains in the world: Freight across air, ocean, and ground; warehouses that store, distribute, and replenish inventory in bulk; fulfillment centers that store, pick and pack millions of orders a day; and a delivery network that can deliver to customers as fast as same day. We built it for Amazon customers. Then we opened it up to our selling partners, proving that this model could work for others. Today, Amazon supports hundreds of thousands of sellers moving billions of items worldwide annually. Sellers using these end-to-end solutions see nearly 20% higher sales. This is an exciting step in bringing the logistics network we built for our customers to all businesses—much like we did for cloud infrastructure when we launched Amazon Web Services. Thank you to the teams who made this possible, and to all the operators across our entire network! https://lnkd.in/d4cN9PCW

The Quick desktop app is here, and it’s compelling. Connects to your email, calendar, Slack, local files, and several other apps to flag important communications, retrieve and summarize info, make recommendations, send communications, and create agents that do work you used to have to do yourself. Gets smarter and more personalized the more you use it. Been using it a lot recently and is changing how I work. It’s allowing me to use applications like my inbox more like an archive, and Quick as my personalized, prioritized, productivity hub that can multi-task various needs. Still early days, and a lot more coming, but excited for folks to start using it to make the undifferentiated work so much less complicated. https://lnkd.in/gwGTeFzm

Meet the teams turning local ideas into global impact 🌍 We deliver millions of packages a day across the world. In every region, our employees are finding smarter solutions: avoiding excess packaging, investing in electric delivery vehicles, and replacing single-use plastics with easier to recycle materials. Added up, those efforts are changing how we get products to customers everywhere. Here's a look.

Our robots are on pointe 🩰 Amazon's mighty Hercules robot drive continues to improve safety and efficiency in fulfillment centers around the world. Capable of lifting up to 1,250 pounds [566 kilos], Hercules slides under inventory shelves and delivers them directly to employees at ergonomic workstations, so our teams spend less time walking the floor and more time focused on customers. We think the choreography speaks for itself.

Over 100,000 customers are running Claude on Amazon Bedrock — accelerating drug discovery, transforming customer service, and reimagining how software gets built. Giving customers access to the best AI models, built and served on world-class infrastructure, is exactly what Amazon and Anthropic have been building toward together. Today, Anthropic is committing more than $100 billion to Amazon Web Services (AWS) over the next decade — securing up to 5 gigawatts of capacity across Trainium2, Trainium3, Trainium4, and future generations of our custom silicon to train and power Claude. And we're bringing Claude Platform directly into AWS so customers can access it through their existing account, no extra credentials or contracts needed. We love what we're building with Anthropic — and the customers we're building it for are just getting started. https://lnkd.in/eqURNc_W
