I played this game on release on PS4. Back then I was okay with the game, but I was already burned out on AC as a franchise. In 2026, I would definitely not recommend the game, though.

Also, as an Egyptian, I feel like this game was built for an Afrocentric audience and not for an actual Egyptian audience. Most NPCs sound and look like Africans from West and South Africa, even the accent and everything. Egypt is a North African country located on the Mediterranean Sea and influenced by both Africa and Mediterranean countries.

We are not all Black like the game wants you to think; as a matter of fact, 10% to 15% are Black and the rest are either white or brown. We never had this accent; this accent suits other regions of Africa more.

Probably the most ''AC'' game out of the current RPG AC games.

The setting, graphics and history tour are really good and you can tell they put a lot of effort in that, the combat is also good, there are no dialogue choices (you are actually watching memories), the map is beatiful with lots to explore, some side quests like the Stone Circles add a lot to Bayek's character, I love poison darts, I think it ends the game better than Odyssey, the DLC ''Curse of the Pharaohs'' is REALLY good and the Final Fantasy ''Crossover'' was SO FUN too.

The story is decent, not good but not bad either, I think the game would've been better if Aya was the main lead instead of Bayek, she makes more sense as a lead, kinda the same feeling I had in Odyssey where I think Alexios should've been the main lead instead of Kassandra,

You will have to grind a lot to do the main quests and that gets REPETITIVE quick, I used the boost that the game gives you then scaled enemies and had way more fun doing that, I think I expected more of Cleopatra, I would've also liked if it expanded more between the story of her and her brother, I spent a lot of time in the desert for the mirages achievements that was cool but a waste of time since sometimes it did not proc too or it repeated itself, you still have to upgrade some things to one shot ''Assassinate''.

7/10: I played this game after Odyssey and I think I should've done the opposite, I didn't like this game as much as I thought I would.

i love how there is greek and egyptian mythology in the game its a very good assassin creed game 10/10
