This is the Super Bowl of display tech, and the floor did NOT disappoint. Here's what blew my mind: ⚡ TCL CSOT unveiled a new MicroLED hybrid driving mode built for ultra-high-brightness applications — think in-vehicle AR HUDs, transparent displays, and next-gen projection. It cuts peak current draw, slashes power consumption, and kills the image-sticking and color cast issues that have plagued MicroLED for years. The road to mass-market MicroLED just got a lot shorter. 🤖 LG Display went full AI era with their 3rd-gen Tandem OLED — 18% lower power consumption, 2x the lifespan of previous gen, and a 4,500-nit TV panel with 0.3% reflectance. Gaming heads: a 720Hz OLED panel is real and it exists. Also, they showed a P-OLED face display for humanoid robots. Yes, robots with OLED faces. We're here. ✨ AUO absolutely stole the show with transparent Micro LED as a full interaction platform. A 64-inch Sports AR display with real-time gaze tracking. A 30-inch see-through AR box you can gesture-control. A 42-inch dual-sided AI ordering kiosk that processes speech, text, and images simultaneously. Oh, and a 16-inch laptop panel that drops to 1Hz refresh to save power then snaps back to 165Hz on demand. Screens that think. Literally. 🥽 AR/VR was everywhere — Himax showcased LCoS microdisplay tech for next-gen AR glasses pushing contrast and clarity into uncharted territory. The through-line? AI is now baked into every layer of display innovation — from power efficiency to gesture sensing to transparent interactive surfaces.
