This marks an exciting next step in our growth across APAC as we bring our agentic marketing platform to one of the region’s most digitally advanced markets. Singaporean multi-location brands are raising the bar for customer experience, AI adoption, and real-time engagement. We’re proud to support that momentum with a platform built to help businesses turn customer signals into action, strengthen local discovery, and drive measurable growth. Naveen Gupta reposted thisNaveen Gupta reposted thisA few things stood out in my conversation with Neil Patel: > If you are not tracking how your brand shows up in AI answers, you are driving blind > Review quality matters, but recency and consistency matter more than many teams realize > Multi-location brands do not have one funnel. They have hundreds of micro-funnels, which is why localized email and location-level insights matter so much And often, the real issue is not overall reputation. It is variability. A handful of weak locations can quietly drag down the whole brand. This is where local growth is heading: brands need to connect awareness, conversion, and experience as one system, and increasingly use agentic workflows to scale what used to be manual. Curious if others are seeing the same shift. Birdeye

Naveen Gupta shared thisLook at the chart below! ChatGPT/LLM traffic is converting at ~3x of organic Google traffic. This is Birdeye's website data. This is why every brand needs to focus on AI search to optimize their visibility and sentiment on LLMs. Neeraj Gupta Deepak Bahree David Lehman Yang Chao Adam Dorfman Anil Panguluri Steve McDermott Joe Marchese Sarah Bennett John Tosto Emily McConnell Jessica Hill Warren Kay Saad Rizwan Vandana Agarwal Abhishek Agrawal Kamal Joshi Naveen Sanjeeva Sumit Jain Abhijeet Srivastava Kartik Chachra Eric Tonk Vikram Viswanathan Sourabh Mathur, CPA Olga Traskova Tiffany Humphrey Mike McHardyNaveen Gupta shared thisMy team sends me a lot of dashboards. Every now and then, one makes me stop. This was one of those. On our website, traffic coming from LLMs - ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude - is converting at roughly 3x the rate of organic Google traffic. Still early, and still smaller in absolute volume, but the quality difference is hard to ignore. We’ve all suspected that traffic from LLMs would be more qualified. They've already done some of the learning before they arrive. But seeing it this clearly in our own numbers hits differently. As a CMO, the obvious question is: how do I get more of this traffic? The less obvious one: how does my brand actually show up inside AI answers? That’s what drives the traffic in the first place. For multi-location brands especially, that answer can vary a lot by location, query, and model. It’s one of the reasons we’ve been investing in Search AI at Birdeye - to help brands understand how they show up in AI answers, where they’re winning or missing, and what they can do to improve. Curious what others are seeing: Is LLM traffic outperforming organic for you on conversion or engagement? And how are you measuring and managing your brand’s presence across AI answers today? Birdeye

Naveen Gupta liked thisAustralia continues to stand out as a tech-forward market. We saw it earlier with cloud adoption—and now we’re seeing the same momentum with AI. It was fantastic to meet so many customers and partners—both at the event and in one-on-one conversations. What stood out clearly is the high level of awareness and genuine interest across enterprises and government organizations. Large enterprises are already quite sophisticated— actively managing or planning across the full spectrum of AI: GenAI SaaS, Private AI, and Agentic AI. And mid-sized and smaller organizations are more focused on GenAI SaaS, but moving quickly. Across the board, it was evident how well the Netskope platform aligns with these needs—supporting customers across every stage of their AI journey. Netskope has always believed in investing ahead of the curve—skating to where the puck is going, not where it is. That conviction has translated into what we have today while we continue to evolve further - organic, native extension of our platform to help customers securely embrace AI. A big thank you to my partner-in-crime Mridhula Shetty Eliot Sun and the Australia Sales team for making this visit so impactful—Tony Burnside, Luke Gibson, Luke Healey, Adam Hawley, Avi Vasudeva, Melissa Smelt, Melissa Fox, Ravi Chandar, Scott Reeves, Geoff Prentis, Peter Bullen Ameya Savant and many more that I missing. Special shoutout to Ashleigh Johnson, Craig Bisson, and the team for organizing 4 large events, dozens of customer meetings and managing the schedule so well—can’t believe I did 5 meetings across 5 locations in Sydney in one day and still 'comfortably' caught a 6:10 pm flight. Naveen Gupta liked thisNaveen Gupta liked thisExcited to see momentum like this 🚀 Sutter Health selecting Birdeye as their Agentic Marketing Platform is a powerful signal of where the market is heading. At this scale; 3.6M patients, 4,000+ care sites, reputation isn’t just a marketing lever, it’s a growth engine. And increasingly, that growth starts in AI search. What stands out most is the impact already being driven: • 81% AI search visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity • 2.2x growth in new monthly reviews • 13.9M Google Business Profile impressions and 1.3M direction clicks These aren’t just metrics, they’re signals of trust, visibility, and patient choice happening in real time. As David Lehman mentioned: “The partnership with Sutter Health indicates a broader shift; enterprises are moving beyond standalone tools to platforms built for complexity, intelligence, and outcomes. In an AI-first world, where search is shaped by real-time reputation and experience signals and operational scale is driven by agents, Birdeye is emerging as the platform of choice for large, multi-location enterprises.” That shift is exactly what we’re seeing. Organizations are no longer stitching together point solutions; they’re investing in platforms that unify data, automate execution, and scale experience across every location. AI agents are at the center of this transformation, turning what used to be manual, fragmented work into intelligent, always-on systems that drive real outcomes. Really excited to see the continued impact this partnership will have on patient experience and what it represents for the future of reputation management. Alongside organisational consolidation, many businesses are reassessing the platforms they rely on - particularly when it comes to usability, speed to insight, and the ability to deliver real business impact. This is what drew me! Birdeye has built a strong foundation helping businesses manage and grow through customer experience - across reviews, reputation, messaging and customer engagement at scale. Increasingly, there’s a clear move toward more unified, end-to-end approaches to CX. Naveen Gupta liked thisNaveen Gupta liked thisSo yesterday I was in back to back Zooms, messages blowing up. Meanwhile, my kids' school lunch order was due by noon and that email was just sitting in my personal inbox and completely forgotten (not the first time...) Except this time, somebody caught the ball for me. Last weekend I configured a "family manager" on Claude Code, inspired by Claire Vo on Lenny Rachitsky podcast. Then it actually saved my ass 🥲 The agent found the email before I did. Pulled up the menu. Started picking lunch based on my prior selections. I glanced over mid-Zoom and this thing was debating chicken tenders vs pizza and kept making the right calls! Then I looked at my full screen and it kind of stopped me for a second. Left side: family manager agent handling the busy work of life. Middle: my ClickUp sidebar with a whole agent army working next to the human team. CFO Signals Scanner, M&A Hunter, Reflection Coach and yep I trained a Secret CFO agent to be my COS…all pushing me insights I used to spend hours digging for. Then there's me on Zoom. Doing the one thing only human can do: connecting with another human, finding the next thing to build together. The guilt spiral of forgetting lunch day is gone! forever! (until picture day)

In the realm of systems integration, the debate often centers on the choice between One Integrated system versus two disparate systems. The consensus among my clients overwhelmingly favors the simplicity and efficiency of One Integrated system, albeit with a crucial caveat – it must work seamlessly. My journey of addressing clients' business challenges has propelled me into a prominent role as a leading benefit broker, distinguished not by selling insurance but by offering solutions. A prevalent issue faced by many clients is the disjointed nature of having separate Benefit Admin and Payroll/Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. The fragmentation caused by multiple systems not only confuses employees but also poses risks to data security and integrity. Such inefficiencies can burden HR and Finance Professionals, diverting their attention from strategic business priorities. The key to resolving these challenges lies in leveraging Benefit Technology expertise, in tandem with Benefit Knowledge, Compliance Support services, Employee Education, and Responsiveness. These elements are pivotal in assisting HR and Finance leaders in navigating the complexities of their back-office operations effectively. Have you found yourself grappling with a "Free" Benefit Admin System provided by your broker, leaving you to navigate its integration with your HCM system independently? There exists a more streamlined approach, and I am here to guide you towards it. Hilb Group Hilb Group | Managed Payroll Solutions ADP

The VC herd is shifting course from once-safe, now-strained SaaS to Aerospace & Defense, an alluring prospect that plays by different rules. SaaS isn’t the predictable play it once was. AI is rewriting the playbook: erasing moats and shifting buyer needs, eroding the predictability that made SaaS so attractive. The secret SaaS sauce wasn’t magic, just choreography: product, fundraising, and traction timelines that neatly lined up. Easy to take for granted. The SaaS timelines are predictably in sync. → Product development moves quickly, and you have control. No physics, no hardware. → Fundraising is a well-oiled machine. Do X, and you got Y. Deep pools of investors who know the playbook. → Commercial traction is straightforward. For years, if you understood what your customer needed and built it, they bought. A&D is different. The timelines don’t cooperate. → Product is harder. In SaaS, QA is a bug report. In A&D, QA means pummeling hardware in vacuum chambers, at hypersonic speeds, on vibration tables, at extreme temperatures. → Fundraising is less predictable. Fewer seasoned investors, shifting milestones, heavy upfront capex and R&D, dependence on grants. → Commercial traction is murky: buyer cycles are political, slow, and opaque. SBIRs and STRATFIs help, but often create false positives. This doesn’t make A&D less attractive. But, it does make it different. The excitement is real: DIU’s FY 2024 appropriation was nearly $1B, and since 2016, it has awarded $5.5B in contract ceilings to commercial companies, many of them startups. The Big Beautiful Bill added $156B to DoD’s $831B FY 2025 budget, bringing total defense resources close to $1T. In A&D, timelines rarely align. Investors need a playbook that assumes gaps, delays, and unpredictable orders. Success will go to those who underwrite to that reality.

MIT’s recent report found that 95% of enterprise AI pilots fail to deliver ROI, with value trapped in workflows, slow scaling, and misplaced bets in sales and marketing instead of back-office and integration wins. But these are symptoms, not the root cause. The real issue is strategic misalignment, as oftentimes organizations don’t clearly define the kind of bet they’re making. At the core, every pilot is a capital allocation and risk management decision. Pilots fail without clarity on the business angle, hypotheses, and go/no-go criteria. To address this, I’ve developed The Pilot Strategy Framework™, a structured approach to categorizing AI pilots based on their strategic intent and business impact. 1️⃣ Validation pilots - validate feasibility before scaling and committing further resources. 2️⃣ Internal adoption pilots - phased rollout of AI within departments, inside existing workflows, to see if it can unlock ROI. This can often signal market readiness to customers, competitors, investors, and the industry overall. 3️⃣ Customer-facing pilots - test whether existing customers will adopt new AI capabilities and whether it’s commercially safe to scale. 4️⃣ Legacy integration pilots - answer if AI can unlock value in legacy systems. 5️⃣ New product pilots - test whether additional AI offerings can be introduced; offerings that are core or adjacent to our current products and generate new ROI. Each pilot is a bet: upfront decide how much capital to risk, what value it’s meant to unlock, tradeoffs to consider, and the conditions under which you’ll scale or stop. Ultimately, it's about prioritizing the one(s) that provide the most enterprise value. Which pilot types is your organization running, and how are they moving the needle on your business outcomes? I am currently talking to leadership teams to apply this framework to drive clarity and ROI; if your organization is navigating similar questions, I'd be happy to connect. #productstrategy #aistrategy #aitransformation

AI Is Rewriting the Rules of Go-to-Market (GTM) As someone who’s spent years aligning strategy, systems, and outcomes across product, engineering, and GTM teams — this article by Dave Birckhead really hits home. In his latest Full-Stack Growth post, “Why AI Requires a New Kind of GTM Role and Org Structure,” Birckhead explains why traditional functional silos — marketing ops, sales ops, customer success ops — can’t keep pace in the AI era. AI doesn’t thrive in isolation. It thrives on shared context, unified data, and connected workflows. Most enterprise AI projects fail not because the models are weak, but because the systems they live in are fragmented. The takeaway: AI value is created when organizations reimagine entire workflows that span the customer journey — using AI as connective tissue, not as point solutions. Birckhead makes a compelling case for a new leadership role: Head of GTM Systems — the orchestrator of data, tools, and AI workflows across marketing, sales, and customer success. The payoff? ✅ Faster innovation ✅ Higher ROI on AI investments ✅ Seamless customer experience ✅ Shared measurement across the funnel Just as SaaS created Marketing Ops and RevOps, the rise of AI now demands GTM Systems Leadership — a discipline that connects, aligns, and scales the way growth truly happens. 📖 Full article here: https://lnkd.in/gU2fa5Jn By Dave Birckhead, Full-Stack Growth (Oct 14, 2025) #AI #GoToMarket #ProductOperations #GTMSystems #RevOps #DigitalTransformation #Leadership #Strategy #Innovation #FutureOfWork #OperationalExcellence #ProductManagement #SalesOps #MarketingOps #CustomerSuccess #B2BLeadership

Today marks a milestone for Salesforce Ventures, and a defining moment for enterprise security. Alphabet’s acquisition of Wiz has officially closed. Wiz has been a cornerstone of our portfolio since May 2021, when Nowi Kallen, Kartik Gupta, and team first invested in their Series B at a $1.5B valuation. We saw the potential early and invested deeply, backing the team through their Series C, D, and E rounds. From a $1.5B Series B to a $32B acquisition, one of the largest in enterprise tech history, the Wiz team’s execution has been nothing short of extraordinary. This outcome reflects our mission at Salesforce Ventures: identifying the companies that define the next era of technology and staying behind them for the long haul. But the real credit belongs to the entire Wiz team on the ground. Beyond the technology, it was the relentless grit and day one mentality of Assaf Rappaport and the team that turned a vision into a $32B reality. Huge congratulations to the entire Wiz team on this historic achievement.

I had a blast opening day 2 of the CXO Summit with Pete Blackshaw and talking about the evolving search economy. Things are happening fast: 📉 This week, Apple reported Safari’s first month of declining search volume in 22 yrs. 🤖 LLMs collectively get 5b+ monthly visits. 📲 Forbes recently reported that 1/4 of GenZ primarily search on social. 🤯 Portcos are telling me that they’re already seeing 20% dips in organic traffic. I could go on and on but suffice it to say, the way buyers discover your products has changed, yes, even for b2b SaaS. Make sure your website and content are optimized for traditional search + answer engines and social, and consider where you spend those paid media dollars.

Thrilled to share big news from the Team8 family today. Sawmills is officially launching #Mills, the world’s first agentic telemetry management platform, and we’re incredibly proud to be backing this category‑defining team. #Observability has become a foundational pillar of modern software infrastructure — but the #telemetry powering it is spiraling out of control. It has become one of the noisiest, most expensive, and least owned parts of modern engineering. Mills changes that. It acts as an always‑on telemetry operator – continuously managing signals end‑to‑end, from code and CI pipelines through production – so only high‑value, trusted data reaches your observability tools. Instead of endless cross‑team coordination and manual clean‑up, DevOps sets policies and guardrails once, and Mills does the heavy lifting: monitoring pipelines, detecting waste and data quality issues, proposing fixes, and routing them to the right owners for review and approval. The result? Dramatically lower observability waste, better signal, and engineers freed up to focus on building. We’re honored to partner with Ronit Belson (CEO), Erez Rusovsky (CPO), Amir Jakoby (CTO), and the entire Sawmills team as they redefine what agentic operations can look like for modern engineering organizations. This is just the beginning, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. If you’re feeling the pain of runaway #telemetry and #observability costs and operations, now is the time to meet Sawmills: https://www.sawmills.ai/ #Successbydesign
