I have been working to finalize my findings with a novel idea of creating a NoSQL solution, which does not need Hadoop/HDFS/CouchDB/Cassandra/MongoDB/HBase or Hive...

The major part of my NoSQL solution is called Domba, where as total solution is Domba Diznay Domb or 3D Solution. It is a multitiered layered solution for streaming Big Data, the code base is Java and ColdFusion. As per the motivation from the name Hadoop, I asked my 3 years onld daughter to name this project by putting 3 Lego blocks in front of her, she named individual blocks as Domba Diznay Domb, and spelled for me also.

Domba - It deals with Optimistic Stream Replication of Big Data

Diznay - It deals with Autonomic Sorting

Domb - it deals with Autonomic Partitioning - Partition Tolerance...

This entire solution for Big Data is Platform and Data Type agnostic, Scalable, FailSafe and runs on commodity hardware and software. The prototype has been successfully tested on a test bed at three diverse locations.

The project is in its last stage to generate final matrices of searching the data by an individual or by an organization. This portion will deal with analytic part of Data representation after the completion of the following processes:

    1. Data Ingestion
    2. Autonomic Partitioning
    3. Data Ordering
    3. Data Egress

  • Personal Information Environment

A Personal Information Environment project is based on Pervasive Computing for an individual and uses Data Recharging using minimal bandwidth to disseminate data to several pervasive devices associated with an individual to let the user work seamlessly without:

    -- Copying
    -- e-Mailing
    -- using VPN

on their data as and where they choose on anywhere anytime basis.
