Amanda M. reposted thisAmanda M. reposted thisNetApp Federal is hiring! As a market leader in Cloud, AI, Cyber resilience and comprehensive Enterprise Data management & scalability, now is the time to join our team! Our culture is the foundation for everything we do! We are looking for highly motivated individuals who want to help spread the "light"! Ask yourself ... are you someone who brightens the room and lifts people up when you walk in? If so, this is the culture for you. Negativity is one of the fastest ways to kill a culture. It rarely shows up loudly at first. It creeps in through side comments, eye rolls, “just being honest,” or conversations that drain energy instead of creating it. Over time, that negativity spreads—and suddenly trust erodes, collaboration slows, and momentum disappears. At NetApp Federal, we’re intentional about building a culture where people choose to be the light, not the darkness. That doesn’t mean we avoid hard conversations or honest feedback. It means we approach challenges with self‑awareness, accountability, and a mindset focused on solutions—not blame. Being self‑aware means recognizing how our words, tone, and energy land on others. It means asking ourselves: Am I helping move us forward, or am I adding weight to the room? Culture isn’t defined by posters on the wall or a book you read. It’s defined by what we tolerate, what we amplify, and how we show up every day—especially when things get hard. We want teammates who lift, not drain. Who bring clarity instead of clouds. Who understand that leadership at every level starts with self‑awareness. Light always beats darkness—if we choose it. COME BE THE LIGHT AND PART OF ONE OF THE BEST SALES CULTURES IN OUR MARKET! We have District Manager, Client Executive and System Engineer openings. #Culture #Leadership #SelfAwareness #NetAppFederal #TeamFirst #PositiveLeadership

We’re looking for a true partner who: * Builds trust through listening, action, and by being invested in the success of the leaders and organization * Posseses strong judgment and integrity * Reads the room and coaches sales executives in real time * Balances strategic workforce planning with day-to-day HR execution * Thrives in ambiguity and stays calm under pressure * Uses data insights and AI to support business and talent outcomes You’ll work closely with senior sales leaders, help shape a high-performance culture, and influence outcomes that directly impact the business. https://lnkd.in/gBh5K4Hf

Amanda M. reacted on thisAmanda M. reacted on this🌟Back home from our sales kickoff and my first one at NetApp. I had the privilege of presenting our go-to-market (GTM) segment strategy in front of a full room of some of the best sellers in the market. I’m excited to watch this come to life. Having been in sales my entire career, I have a deep respect and understanding of what it takes to succeed. The market is fiercely competitive, and with ongoing debates about how to leverage AI in the field. Before we know it all of our customers are going to get the same outreach emails prompted by the same engines if we don’t think fast and clearly. However, one thing is clear: NetApp’s hybrid cloud and security story offers the best capabilities which gives our sellers a head start. Product built on what our customers truly need will always win, my responsibility is making it easier for them to tell the story with the right data points through the right routes to market. (Ie the Eco-system!!!) Building, designing, and evolving a GTM strategy around a best-in-class platform has been some of the most exciting work I’ve done!! Let’s make it happen. 🚀 NetApp

Sell high. 💪 What we did differently: 👉 We didn’t overprice and wait. ⏳ We found the pricing sweet spot that created urgency. The result? 2 days of showings. Multiple competing offers. Final price driven UP. 📈 The spring market is heating up, and buyers are ready to move. 🏡 If you're a homeowner or investor thinking about selling, NOW is the time. Amanda M. reacted on thisAmanda M. reacted on thisFor the past 15 years, we have dedicated supporting Griffin Shaffer's dream of playing competitive lacrosse. Engaging in athletics, particularly club sports, is a challenging journey. It involves financial commitments, sacrificing weekends, and finding ways to attend those crucial Thursday night varsity games while traveling. A valuable lesson from my former boss, Greg Davis, resonated with me: the work and meetings will always be there when you return, but witnessing your child in the stands knowing you made it to the game is truly priceless. I've conducted business calls behind a concession stand at 8:30 PM, worked through nights in airports to catch early flights to random east coast cities, and even canceled family vacations, but I wouldn't change a thing. Coordinating logistics with Leslie Shaffer has required sacrifices as parents, but the lessons learned by Grant Shaffer and Griffin Shaffer along the way are invaluable. 1. Shared Goals Create Alignment: Just as sports teams unite around a common goal to win, businesses that establish clear, shared objectives foster alignment and motivation. 2. Accountability Drives Performance: In sports, missing an assignment impacts the entire team. Startups and business teams thrive when accountability is embraced, leading to ownership of outcomes. 3. Practice Builds Consistency: Athletes train relentlessly to ensure performance becomes automatic. In business, preparation is key to avoiding mistakes. Early morning practices instilled discipline and the importance of training and process refinement. 4. Systems Beat Star Players: Winning teams rely on repeatable systems rather than individual superstars. Standardizing workflows and communication channels reduces friction and enhances consistency. 5. Role Clarity Equals Faster Execution: In sports, players understand their positions and responsibilities, enabling quick decisions. In business, clear roles enhance execution speed and accountability. As this 15-year journey comes to a close, I want to express my gratitude to Vipers youth lacrosse, Vandegrift, IronHorse, Aces, Texas Mustangs, Crabs Lacrosse, Bucknell and THE University of Texas. As this chapter closes, I have turned to reffing high school lacrosse to stay with the game and absolutely love it.

The ground under talent strategy is shifting. For decades, the conversation about managing talent revolved around buying (hiring) and building (upskilling/reskilling) talent, and it worked because humans alone did all the thinking and execution. Talent systems and strategy both need to support the different reality we operate in today, where work and performance standards are being redefined, and agents work alongside humans. A more comprehensive approach to talent strategy includes four connected levers: # BUY # BUILD # BORROW # BOT Each serves a different purpose, though all four must work together for a winning talent strategy. I introduced this approach on my blog and will follow up with more articles in the series, Talent Strategy By Design. Read the full write-up: https://bit.ly/4tkbVe0

At this year's SHRM Talent 2025, one thing was clear: The future of work is here—and HR is leading the charge. As we joined thought leaders and industry experts at this year's event, two themes stood out: 1. Upskilling is no longer optional—it's a critical strategy for attracting and retaining top talent in the digital-first workplace. 2. Emotional intelligence is emerging as a key driver of successful talent acquisition and retention. In a fiercely competitive labor market, investing in a people-first talent strategy is essential to building a workforce that's not just ready for change but empowered to lead it. To help you stay ahead, we've outlined four key trends from SHRM Talent 2025 that are shaping the future of work.

Many conversations about talent focus on trends. I tend to focus on fundamentals. Culture. Clarity. Compensation. Culture influences how people work and whether they want to stay. Clarity is critical in communicating the focus of the company, defining the problem a role is meant to solve and how roles connect to business priorities. Compensation signals what the organization values and how seriously it takes long term performance. These three areas shape the experience of every candidate and every employee. They also determine the return a company gets on its hiring decisions. When culture is inconsistent, roles and company strategy are ambiguous, and rewards fail to match expectations, the result is predictable. High churn, low engagement, and unnecessary cost. Strong companies treat talent acquisition as a strategic exercise. They are transparent about expectations. They understand the financial impact of turnover. They use total rewards to reinforce their culture and their commitment to employees through every stage of their career. The “war for talent” is not won through volume. It is won through alignment. Alignment between what the business needs, what the role requires, and what the total rewards package communicates. #HR #TalentAcquisition #TotalRewards

Roster transparency isn't about better data - it's about accountability. The consequences of incomplete visibility are now showing up in measurable ways: risk accumulation, cost leakage, performance drag, and weakened governance. Here's the diagnostic: If your CEO asked for a current roster of external workers by manager and location by end of day, could you deliver it with confidence? For most organizations, the honest answer is "we could get close." The issue isn't effort - it's structural fragmentation across systems, suppliers, and functions. A transparent roster must answer five critical questions: Coverage. Control. Cost. Compliance. Performance. Our President, Kasey Hadjis, explains why roster transparency has become a buying criterion in MSP programs and why sustainable transparency requires aligning People, Process, and Platform. https://lnkd.in/gH-BGUAB #MSP #ContingentWorkforce #WorkforceSolutions #RosterManagement #VendorManagement #WorkforceTransparency #TalentStrategy
