It doesn’t feel like 15 years at the same company. Because it hasn’t been. The culture has evolved (as it should) shaped by the people who have come and gone. The values have been redefined over time, yet have always stayed grounded in something consistent. And since then, entirely new departments, talent, tech, and capabilities have emerged-things that didn’t exist years ago. So no, I haven’t just spent 15 years at BT!! I’ve spent 15 years at a modern COMPANY that refuses to stand still!! one that keeps growing, evolving, and building something better. And that’s what’s made the time fly!! Ps. And yet… I keep coming back to the same thing after every conference: Connection still wins. Because no model replaces the side conversations. The “off the record” honesty. The this is what’s actually working moments you only get when people are together, unfiltered and unscripted. AI might be accelerating everything, but it’s also making it clearer what matters most: perspective, trust, and the people willing to say the quiet part out loud. Call it ironic or call it grounding-but in a world racing toward automation, the most valuable thing in our industry is still deeply, stubbornly human. That’s why I keep showing up. Amanda DeVito, MBA shared thisCurrently somewhere between my third airport coffee and my fourth "is this my gate?" panic spiral - headed to Fierce Pharma Engage, and couldn't be more ready. In all seriousness though, this is one of those events I genuinely look forward to. Not for the panels (okay, also for the panels). But because the conversations that happen between sessions, over dinner, in the hallway of whatever hotel/event space we have - is where the real thinking happens. And right now? The thinking matters more than ever. Healthcare is at an inflection point. The way patients find information, trust brands, navigate their own care- it's shifting faster than most marketing strategies can keep up with. Because I see that often... The brands that figure out how to show up with relevance, credibility, and actual humanity in this moment? They won't just win market share. They'll matter. That's what gets me on a plane. (and I actually may be the only one that likes the airplane coffee!!!)- oh and it doesn't hurt that I am leaving snow - yes, I said snow in Rochester in April... Amanda DeVito, MBA liked thisAmanda DeVito, MBA liked thisI’m honored to share that I’ve joined the Board of Directors for the Pheo Para Alliance (PPA), a nonprofit organization supporting patients and families impacted by rare diseases, specifically pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PPGL). This is a volunteer role alongside my continued work at Amneal. This mission is deeply personal. Two of my three children have a genetic predisposition to PPGL, and like many families in this community, we live with uncertainty and a constant need for greater awareness, care, and support. That lived experience drives my commitment to this work. I’m grateful to the Board for their trust and to Executive Director Jo Beth for her leadership. I’m proud to stand with this team and look forward to learning from the community while helping expand education, resources, and advocacy for those impacted by PPGL. That was the throughline at Fierce Pharma Marketing’s #FiercePharmaEngage event, where I had the honor of moderating a panel, Rewriting the Content Playbook to Move Minds and Markets. Huge thanks to my brilliant panelist, Courtney Grosslight, Alice Harmon, and Jonah Johnson for a conversation that pushed the room. Four things I’m still thinking about from other sessions: ✅ Authenticity isn’t soft, it’s strategy. ✅ Move away from transformation in your org.
