Israeli observability startup Coralogix has raised $115 million in a Series E round, becoming a unicorn with a valuation of over $1 billion. Coralogix offers a full-stack observability and security platform that helps companies understand and resolve complex issues in their data streams. The company has developed an AI agent, Olly, which uses a semantic layer over internal and external data to automate data observability and provide sophisticated insights through simple text prompts. The all-equity round was led by NewView Capital, with participation from the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments | Investissements RPC) and NextEquity Partners, alongside existing investors. The funding will be used to expand its engineering base in India, with a planned $100M investment over five years, and to further develop its AI agent. Just like games allow users to choose “custom skins”, but for personal gmail accounts. From sports fans, to celebrity stans to movie franchise loyalists to zodiac sign followers, custom domain marketplace will allow users to purchase new usernames from custom domains that resonate with them for a price in the range of $20 per year. Thane-based marketing technology startup Grexa AI has raised INR 15.5 crore in a seed funding round. Grexa AI is on a mission to simplify marketing for India's small business sector. The company offers an all-in-one platform that automates digital marketing for SMBs like salons, clinics, and gyms. The platform handles social media, local SEO, advertisements, and website management without requiring technical expertise, aiming to empower one million small businesses over the next two years. Reivew of NEW Rime TTS MODEL Arcana v3; we are disappointed undoubtably has built its name in the TTS space, and done over 1 Bn calls. The new model claims 120ms latency, Multilingual abilities in 10+ languages (including Hindi and Tamil ) and Word-level timestamps. What seemed great is their support for many audio formats including 16 bit linear pcm and at 8KHz which is great for Indian telephony; no need for resampling. They also have an SDK in multiple languages and support websocket streaming. The promise of 120 ms latency ( even assuming TTFB ) was too good to resist. So we took it for a spin at Travon AI. We tried with an Agent for a Hindi use case. We are seeing TTFB's of even 1.5 seconds sometimes and general latency was really high; the voice sounded as if its speaking at 0.8x speed. We tried increasing the speeds but that didn't work either. May be we're screwing up something but we tried a lot to make this work, including with Opus 4.6. And we've seen others make it work with English. If you've got it working with Hindi, i'd love to exchange notes. And I am still rooting for you team Rime, but hope you will be able to offer some great Indian voices at 120ms TTFB for Hindi and other Indian languages soon. Huge opportunity!
