I can promise you… it’s not 😅 The new Synchtank website is the result of months of work behind the scenes, and not just from marketing. Product, sales, leadership, design… a lot of people pushing, debating, refining, and (honestly) rethinking how we show up as a company. Because this wasn’t just about making things look better. It was about getting clearer. - Clearer on what Synchtank actually is today - Clearer on the value we deliver to our customers - Clearer on where we’re going next And that part is harder than it sounds. Synchtank has evolved a lot over the past few years. The platform is more powerful, more flexible, and more critical to our customers’ businesses than ever before. But our website wasn’t telling that story. Now it finally does. And I think that matters more than anything else. Huge credit to the team who stuck with this and didn’t settle for “good enough”, this kind of work takes time, strong opinions, and a lot of iteration to get right. Amy Hegarty liked thisAmy Hegarty liked thisThey say all good things come to an end, and after almost three years, my chapter at rennie is officially wrapping up. When I joined the company, the opportunity was simple but ambitious: expand the brand into the United States while protecting the culture and reputation that had already been built over fifty years in Vancouver, BC. Looking back now, I’m proud of what we accomplished together. We opened offices in Seattle and Palm Springs, built incredible teams, and created meaningful processes and infrastructure to expand on. More than anything, though, I’m grateful for the people. Building across borders comes with plenty of challenges, but it also creates strong relationships, lasting memories, and a level of collaboration that I’ll genuinely miss. To everyone across the organization and my peers in the SLT, thank you for the trust, the partnership, and the experience. It has been a privilege to build alongside you. As for me, I’m excited for whatever comes next. My focus now is getting back to what I love most: leading large-scale revenue organizations, building teams, impacting culture, and creating value with both customers and the people. The next chapter is unknown, but that's the most exciting part of the process.

For those familiar and those who think this doesn't happen, let's walk through an example with Maya and Mark. Maya spent six months quietly learning about the new platform her company wasn't yet prioritizing. No one asked her to. Her manager didn't take her seriously. Until she could demonstrate real value. And then do it again. Suddenly she was training everyone. For the same pay. The same title. Six months later, Marcus is hired. He's smart, mostly teaches himself. Only going to Maya when stuck. But when Mark finishes onboarding? He's selected to represent the team for a cross-functional team of experts on the new platform. And Maya? She continues to get praise without the recognition. Seem far fetched? It's not. It's not identical to an incident that will be cited in my lawsuit, but it's pretty damn close.

LeadsCon 2026...doing a panel with Robin Spencer and Eric Kozak on AI in the contact center... Since last year we've seen some amazing success stories with AI - LIXIL + Faraday, in a myriad of ways, certainly being one of them - but we've also seen a lot of retreating, as companies figure out how to leverage their AI (Artificial Intelligence) and their HI (Human Intelligence), in harmony... As always, "correct" is never found at any one of the extremes, it will certainly lie somewhere in the middle...same goes in the contact center... This "middle", some of the more impressive applications of AI we've seen this year, and some of the things we're excited for coming up, are what we will be talking about in our session...
