Ankit Goyal reposted thisAnkit Goyal reposted thisThis is a special edition of Stay Sync’d, and we brought in a guest who’s seen this challenge play out every election cycle. Jesse Contario, Regional Vice President, Southeast and Political at MiQ, joined us to share his perspective on a real challenge: campaigns have more voter data than ever, and still aren’t seeing the performance they expect. The gap isn’t strategy. It’s what happens between data and activation. And heading into the 2026 midterms 🇺🇸, the cost of getting it wrong has never been higher. Jesse breaks down where campaigns lose momentum, and what it actually takes to close the gap. Ankit Goyal shared thisGoogle stayed silent, then moved the needle. The Gemma 4 release is a massive win for AI democratization. It’s the kind of open-weight innovation we all thought would come from OpenAI. Turns out, the most significant "open" moves are coming from the most unexpected places.Ankit Goyal shared thisBREAKING NEWS: Google just re-entered the game 🔥🔥 They want to take the crown 👑 back from Chinese open source AI. And... Gemma 4 is FINALLY Apache 2.0 aka real-open-source-licensed. From what I've seen it's going to be a pretty significant model. But give it a try yourself today: brew upgrade llama.cpp # you might need to install from source until build 8637 is in your package manager later today: brew install llama.cpp --HEAD 🔴 My personal recommendation: if you have at least 24GB of RAM or VRAM, run the (very good) 26B MOE: llama-server -hf ggml-org/gemma-4-26B-A4B-it-GGUF:Q4_K_M if you have 16GB of RAM or VRAM, run the dense E4B: llama-server -hf ggml-org/gemma-4-E4B-it-GGUF:Q8_0

Ankit Goyal posted thisAutomation is flashy, but operations are what keep the lights on. Anthropic has been making a lot of noise about coding becoming 100% automated. While the tech is impressive, recent outages with Claude Code reveal a massive gap in the "basics": Engineering Trust. Users have been reporting issues for days. Yet, it took a full-scale "explosion" for the team to acknowledge the problem. Hours later, the status page still claims "All Systems Operational." https://lnkd.in/giBUjb-6 In a world where inference is becoming a commodity, your model's IQ matters less than your platform's integrity. The lesson? You can’t automate away the need for transparent incident response and proactive community listening. Trust is earned in the minutes after a crash, not in a marketing demo

Ankit Goyal liked thisAnkit Goyal liked thisFrom Steady-State to Hyper-Acceleration: Deep Sync has spent the last 6 months investing heavily into our engineering and AI foundations. Suddenly, the friction is gone. Roadblocks that once slowed us down are vanishing, replaced by a massive wave of development and innovation. Last week, our executive team gathered in Kirkland to map out the back half of the year. After 12 hours of whiteboarding and re-evaluating our mission and vision, two things became clear: The Vision is Futuristic: We aren’t just looking at new use cases; we are redefining what is means to be the market leader in data and identity. The Goal is High Leverage: We’ve mapped out an organizational structure designed to remove busywork and manual processes. By leaning into AI-driven efficiencies, we're enabling our teams and customers to work smarter, not harder - freeing up our best minds to focus on big-picture innovation and growth. As I drove home, I kept coming back to two themes: Nimble and Adaptable. In a climate fueled by daily AI breakthroughs, these aren’t just buzzwords; they’re the keys to thriving. To my team and my peers: the pace of technology isn’t slowing down, but that’s our greatest advantage. When we adapt to these tools, we don’t just keep up - we lead. The momentum at Deep Sync is real. We’re not just watching the future happen - we’re architecting it. #AI #Innovation #DataAndIdentity #Leadership #DeepSync #TechTrends

Ankit Goyal reacted on thisAnkit Goyal reacted on thisToday, I’m excited to share that SageOx has raised a $15M seed round led by Canaan, with participation from A.Capital Ventures, Pioneer Square Labs, and Founders Co-op. I’ve spent most of my career at the start of new waves in software — from v1 of AWS EC2, to building Apple’s ML platform, to scaling systems at Facebook, to founding XetHub (now powering Hugging Face). Each wave changed how we build — and how we collaborate. GitHub emerged to coordinate developers. Hugging Face emerged to coordinate ML engineers and data scientists. Now it’s happening again. Teams are starting to build software with AI agents — not just as tools, but as collaborators. Execution is no longer the bottleneck. Teams are shipping 40x faster. But AI has made little to no dent on team collaboration and alignment: team cognitive debt is exploding because individuals are accelerated but the team's mechanisms for keeping their shared mental models aligned are not keeping up. What’s missing isn’t more capability. It’s shared context. That’s what we’re building at SageOx. We capture context where it naturally happens — conversations, coding sessions, Slack, docs — and turn it into structured knowledge that flows into every new agent interaction. Every agent starts informed. Every decision propagates. Every team stays aligned. I’m building SageOx with people I deeply trust — Ryan Snodgrass, Milkana Brace, and Galex Yen, with insights and advice from Steve Yegge and Rupak Majumdar — and it’s been some of the most fun I’ve had in years. We’ve embraced radical openness: our users can see how we build, listen to our discussions, and watch context flow through our own product. It’s early, but we believe this becomes a foundational layer for how software gets built. We’re deeply grateful to our investors for their support — both financial and otherwise: Kumar S., Ramu Arunachalam, Vivek Ladsariya, Aviel Ginzburg, Boris Jabes, Satish Talluri, Yucheng Low, Gokul Rajaram, Matt Oppenheimer, Maria Karaivanova, Marius Ciocirlan, Vikas Gupta. If you’re working with agents and feeling the alignment pain, I’d love to connect.

Ankit Goyal liked thisAnkit Goyal liked thisTalkdesk latest release is out, and it’s a big one for the developers and admins building on our platform. We are focused on giving you more granular control over AI behavior and better visibility into your system’s health. Here are the three areas I’m most excited about: ⚙️ AI Agent Platform: Orchestrator configurations We’ve upgraded our AI Agent Platform to handle the nuances of real-time conversation. Orchestrator now detects silence and generates conversational fillers, making interactions feel natural rather than mechanical. More importantly, you can now fully customize guardrail responses, ensuring your brand’s voice remains consistent even when the AI reaches its limit. 🛠️ Revamped Studio Experience & Observability Complex flows are hard to build and even harder to debug. We've overhauled the Studio editor with collapsible nodes, a minimap, and cleaner logic paths. Reference Hub is now centralized space to manage reusable datasets and tables. Flows Health provides a dedicated dashboard for flow behavior and execution analysis, allowing you to proactively identify bottlenecks before they impact the customer. 🗓️ WFM: Bringing Balance to Agent Schedules Empowered agents provide better service. We’ve introduced external calendar sync (Google/Outlook), allowing agents to see their shifts alongside their personal lives. For the planners, our new Forecast Accuracy Report provides the data needed to bridge the gap between predicted and actual volumes. Whether it’s fine-tuning an AI greeting or auditing a complex routing flow, we are committed to making Talkdesk the most robust platform for modern CX. Ankit Goyal liked thisAnkit Goyal liked thisAG2 v0.12.2 – The Agent Harness lands in Beta 🏗️ A stateful agent that remembers across sessions, manages its own context window, organizes its own knowledge, and shares findings with peers. Built-in so you can concentrate on your system and not the agent. 🧱 Four orthogonal stages, each opt-in: - 💾 Persistence – What the agent knows (durable, cross-conversation) - 🧩 Assembly – What the agent sees (composed per LLM call) - ⚡ Execution – The LLM call - 🔄 Post-Processing – Compaction · aggregation 🎯 What this unlocks: - 🕐 Long-running agents – Hours without blowing the context window - 🧠 Cross-session memory – "My name is Rick" still remembered tomorrow - 🤝 Multi-agent knowledge sharing – Cheap reads, not expensive delegation 📦 What's in the box: - 📁 KnowledgeStore – Agent-owned virtual filesystem with 5 backends. LLMs already speak filesystem. - 🧩 Assembly Policies – Composable context shaping pipeline (not just a filter) - ✂️ Compaction – Reduce live context (zero-cost or LLM-summarized) - 📚 Aggregation – Build long-term memory from short-term experience - 💰 Cost Visibility – Every harness LLM call is a stream event, not a hidden bill item 🔬 Also new in Beta: PerplexitySearchTool now available, normalized parts on builtin tool result events, and server-side builtin tool calls persisted in history. 🙌 Thanks to all our contributors! #AG2 #AI #MultiAgentSystems #AIAgents #OpenSource

Ankit Goyal reacted on thisAnkit Goyal reacted on thisGrateful to have been invited as a speaker and panel member at the Hyderabad Policy Conclave: The Indian Era — a national platform for implementation excellence and institutional learning, hosted by the School of Public Policy and Governance, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Hyderabad, in collaboration with RIS New Delhi, Vaaradhi Trust, and strategic sponsor NMDC. Three days. Sharp rooms. Honest conversations. The kind of convening India needs more of — less ornamental, more operational. A few threads from our panel on startup ecosystems: The lifecycle isn't linear. Ideation is romantic, traction is brutal, growth rewrites the problem. Each stage demands a different founder, team, and kind of capital. Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities aren't smaller Bangalores. They're their own ecosystems — different talent, customers, cost structures. The scaffolding has to be designed for their reality, not copy-pasted from the metros. Three friction points we kept circling back to: Mentorship that's actually accessible — operators, not just keynote speakers. Credit without collateral — a founder with a working prototype shouldn't need her father's land papers to access ₹1 cr. The administrative burden of policy uptake — great schemes exist on paper; the cost is in the chasing. The fix isn't more schemes — it's better delivery. Single windows that work. Mentor networks tied to outcomes. Credit built for cash-flow reality. Policy that respects a founder's scarcest resource: time. Huge thanks to the TISS Hyderabad team, the co-hosts, and fellow panellists for hosting a conversation that was honest, not ornamental. The Indian Era is real — and forums like the Hyderabad Policy Conclave are exactly where the blueprint gets written. #HyderabadPolicyConclave #TheIndianEra #TISS #TISSHyderabad #SchoolOfPublicPolicyAndGovernance #PublicPolicy #PolicyImplementation #Governance #InstitutionalLearning #Startups #StartupIndia #StartupEcosystem #Entrepreneurship #Founders #YoungFounders #Tier2Tier3 #Tier2Cities #Tier3Cities #BharatStartups #IndiaGrowthStory #MSME #AccessToCredit #CollateralFreeCredit #FinancialInclusion #Mentorship #VentureCapital #EaseOfDoingBusiness #Innovation #DigitalIndia #MakeInIndia #AtmanirbharBharat #NMDC #RIS #Vaaradhi #PanelDiscussion #Speaker #Leadership #NationBuilding #Hyderabad

“I had the pleasure of supporting Ankit's growth during our short but fruitful collaboration at UiPath (2019-2020 timeframe). During that time, Ankit has been one of the key engineers who shipped UiPath's Automation Cloud SaaS product. From what I could see with my own eyes, Ankit is a very bright and ambitious professional, who's interests and passions span way beyond the nuts and bolts of software development. Ankit is always looking to learn more and take on more. His hunger for knowledge is contagious. From proper initiative, he's taken on mentoring junior engineers and coaching them to bigger things. Ankit is a natural leader and I expect a super bright future ahead of him. Best of luck, buddy, to reaching the stars! ”

We once had a backend incident that, on paper, should've been a major outage. But nothing happened. Users kept browsing, ordering, and moving on with their day. Our fallbacks quietly took over. Under our old metrics, this would've counted as downtime. But was it really? That question changed how we think about uptime at Meesho. We stopped measuring system health and started measuring user outcomes - can the customer complete their order? Can the seller fulfill it? Simple shift. Massive impact on how we engineer, invest, and own reliability. https://lnkd.in/gqDnb9q3 Siddharth Gupta Amlan Sekhar Das

Got a panicked WhatsApp at 7 AM this morning. "Our payment gateway is rejecting everyone. We've lost ₹8 lakhs in sales overnight." Not a technical glitch. Human error caused by "smart" automation. Here's what happened: This jewelry brand does ₹25 lakhs monthly. Last year, they hired a fintech consultant who said: "You're losing money to fraud. Let me build you an intelligent fraud detection system." Cost: ₹6.5 lakhs. The system included: → AI-powered risk scoring → Real-time transaction analysis → Behavioral pattern detection → Automatic blocking of suspicious orders → Machine learning from past fraud attempts → Integration with 3 payment gateways Sounded necessary. He showed them the fraud statistics. Scared them properly. They signed. First month: Blocked 12 transactions. All were actual fraud. Great! Second month: Blocked 45 transactions. 8 were legitimate customers. Not great. Third month: Blocked 180 transactions. 140 were real customers trying to buy. The AI decided: → Orders above ₹50,000 = Suspicious (even from repeat customers) → Using different delivery address = Fraud risk → Ordering late night = Red flag → New customer + high value = Auto-reject Real customers got declined. Called customer service, furious. "Your site rejected my card!" "It's a gift, why can't I ship elsewhere?" "I work night shifts, am I not allowed to shop?" The consultant? "AI is being cautious. That's good. We can fine-tune the sensitivity for ₹1 lakhs more." They called us instead. We rebuilt it in 6-7 days with simple rules: → Flag orders above ₹1 lakh for manual review (not auto-reject) → Allow different shipping for orders below ₹50K → Verify via OTP, don't just block → Let customers talk to humans instantly if flagged → Track patterns but don't auto-punish Results in 90 days: → Actual fraud caught: Still 100% (12 attempts blocked) → False positives: 140 per month → 3 per month → Revenue recovered: ₹8L+ monthly → Customer satisfaction: Back to normal → Cart abandonment: Down 52% The owner told me yesterday: "I was so scared of losing ₹50,000 to fraud that I lost ₹6+ lakhs to paranoia." Here's the lesson: Automation that blocks customers is worse than no automation. Fraud protection should protect your business. Not kill it. AI shouldn't make final decisions on revenue. Humans should. Flag. Alert. Verify. Don't just reject and hope the AI is right. Because every blocked real customer is a lost customer forever. Ever been blocked by a system that thought you were a fraud? #AIAutomation #EcommerceBusiness #FraudPrevention #BusinessAutomation #StartupLessons #PaymentSecurity #Entrepreneurship #TechSimplicity #SmallBusiness #AITools #StartupGrowth #WorkflowAutomation #n8n #DubaiBusiness #EcommerceTech

🤖 Swiggy integrates #MCP to enable #AI-native ordering 🍔 Swiggy becomes one of the first Indian consumer platforms to adopt Model Context Protocol (MCP) across food delivery, #quickcommerce, and dining out. 🧠 Users can now discover and place orders directly from AI tools like OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini using natural language — without opening the app. ⚡ Instamart becomes the first quick-commerce platform globally to support MCP, enabling AI-driven access to 40,000+ SKUs in real time. 🔗 MCP acts as a secure, open bridge between LLMs and live systems, allowing AI models to interact with catalogs, availability, and workflows — not just static data. 🏗️ This marks a shift from surface-level AI features to deep infra-level AI integration, where apps become services callable by AI agents. 🇮🇳 After fintech and logistics, Indian consumer internet companies are now building AI-native foundations. 🚀 Commerce is quietly moving from apps → APIs → agents. https://lnkd.in/gTBquHk8

Pratik added the last limited edition watch to shopping cart, checked out, and poof... App logs him out Post login limited edition watch is gone 🤯 This chaos escalates when traffic spikes and app's reputation tanks as complaints flood in Problem: Inconsistent user sessions Solution: Smart load balancing Here’s how smart load balancing saves the day Stateless Load Balancing - Treats every request as independent - No memory of past interactions - Scales horizontally with ease - Uses simple algorithms like Round Robin or Least Connections Stateful Load Balancing - Remembers client session data - Routes recurring users to the same server - Essential for shopping carts, multiplayer games, or real-time dashboards - Requires session persistence (e.g., sticky sessions) AWS Elastic Load Balancer supports both modes 🤔 over to you, which type of load balancer I have shown in the diagram? India just redefined AI-powered commerce. And it's not about chatbots. It's about trust, scale, and guardrails. On Oct 10 at Global Fintech Fest, NPCI, OpenAI, and Razorpay announced a collaboration that could change how 500M+ Indians discover and pay for products. But here's what excites me as someone building AI systems: This isn't just about AI agents processing payments. It's about building AI commerce infrastructure with: ✅ Compliance-first design - Built on India's trusted UPI rails ✅ Conversational commerce - Shop in your language, pay instantly ✅ Responsible AI at scale - Guardrails embedded from day one ✅ Financial inclusion - Bringing AI benefits to tier 2/3 cities The questions I'm asking: 🔹 How will AI agents verify user intent for high-value transactions? 🔹 What guardrails prevent fraud in conversational checkout flows? 🔹 How do we ensure AI doesn't push unnecessary purchases? 🔹 Can this work seamlessly across 22+ Indian languages? 🔹 What's the compliance framework for AI-driven financial decisions? Why this matters: We've seen AI content generation scale globally. But AI-powered commerce at India's scale—with built-in payment infrastructure and regulatory alignment—this is uncharted territory. If done right, this could be the blueprint for responsible AI commerce worldwide. My hope: That we build this with the same rigor we built UPI—user-centric, secure, and accessible to every Indian, not just the tech-savvy few. Kudos to Pragya Misra, Dilip Asbe, and the teams at National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI), OpenAI, and Razorpay for taking this bold step. To fellow AI builders: How do we ensure AI commerce agents are helpful, not manipulative? Where should the guardrails be? This is the conversation India—and the world—needs to have. #AICommerce #ResponsibleAI #UPI #FintechInnovation #IndiaStack #AICompliance

Moving fast is easy when you’re small, but harder when you’re building at global scale. Prashant Verma's recent conversation with ETGCCWorld looks at how Harness is structured to handle both with its “startup within a startup” model giving teams real ownership over features and outcomes. That structure shows up clearly in the work happening out of India, where teams are building products like AI SRE and resiliency testing to help companies manage production environments more effectively. If you’re interested in how global engineering teams stay nimble as they grow, this is a good read. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/gPKBhZ8U
