First, a few thank yous. To the Cardlytics team: thank you for the trust and the opportunity to lead Bridg. It was a privilege to work alongside such a talented and dedicated group of people. During my time there, I'm proud of the product strategy and rigor we brought to both Bridg and Rippl, and of the work we did to find the right outcome for the business through the sale to PAR Technology. None of that happens without a great team around you. To the Bridg team now embarking on this new journey with PAR: I couldn't be more excited for what lies ahead. You've built something real and valuable, and I have no doubt that with the right focus and a home where Bridg is truly central to the mission, the best is yet to come. As for me, I'm in an energizing phase of figuring out what's next. I have ideas I'm excited about, particularly at the intersection of AI and data applied on verticals that usually don't get a lot of attention from tech, and I've been having great conversations to flesh them out. My goal is to start something soon, and things are moving in that direction. That said, I'm always open to hearing about what others are working on. Great food, great company, great customers and fans, great team, great things ahead. Yesterday I tried our Honey Chicken for the first time, so good! Adding the Build Your Own Chipotle (with Carnitas because my girls prefer not spicy) to the routine as a family style no one has to cook night (with leftovers for school lunch). Let's go!!!

I watched this happen in 2015 from inside Salesforce. We were positioning as the system of engagement, SAP was the system of record. Reps lived in Salesforce. Data lived in SAP. SAP wasn't happy. Their users were bypassing the UI and hitting the data through our layer. So they changed the pricing model. User-based licensing became API-metered access. Same workflow, different invoice, much bigger number. That was ten years ago. And now Salesforce is sitting in the exact seat SAP was sitting in. The engagement layer has already started moving off the Salesforce UI. It's moving into Claude, into Slack, into other agent interfaces. Even when Salesforce owns the surface (Slack), the interaction pattern is decoupling from the record layer underneath. Reps are going to spend less and less time in any crm ui. Agents are going to be where the work actually happens. Salesforce knows this. Headless 360 is the setup. The "agent access to records" SKU is the punchline. The pattern is the same every time. When the engagement layer moves, the record layer meters the door. SAP did it. Salesforce is about to do it. It's the Engagement Layer Tax, second time around. Prediction: within 12 months, Salesforce ships an agent-specific access tier. It will look innovative. It will be the exact same play SAP ran in 2015, just with "AI agent" in the product name instead of "API user." If you're building on top of a system of record right now, model this into your unit economics today, not when the new SKU ships.

Urzędniczka szczecińskiej skarbówki — z czystej ciekawości — 151 razy pobierała dane osobowe ze służbowych systemów (SERCE, PESEL). Sprawdzała zarobki byłego męża, jego partnerki, rodziny, znajomych… i w końcu prezydenta RP. Wpadła dopiero wtedy, gdy służby rutynowo prześwietlały otoczenie głowy państwa i zobaczyły, kto wcześniej zaglądał do jego danych. Przez ponad dwa lata system logował każdy dostęp — ale nikt tych logów nie analizował w czasie rzeczywistym. To nie jest historia o jednej ciekawskiej urzędniczce. To historia o braku monitoringu zachowań użytkowników w krytycznych systemach. Insider threat nie musi oznaczać złośliwego hakera. Wystarczy pracownik z uprawnieniami i niekontrolowaną ciekawością. A szkody — wizerunkowe, prawne, regulacyjne — mogą być ogromne. A co dzieje się u Ciebie ? W twoim ERP, HR, CRM, HIS, Git czy OT/SCADA ?
