Antionette Ball reposted thisFull circle moment. Victoria invited me to join Women in Technology (WIT)’s Career Exploration team in 2012. The next 4 years, we volunteered and helped hundreds of girls explore roles in STEM. Thank you for accepting our invitation to join Women's Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project, Inc. Women’s History Month Business Forum.Antionette Ball reposted thisWhat a rewarding experience! I had the opportunity to speak about Operational AI - Strategies for Smarter Business Growth at the Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project (WEOP) Business Forum in Atlanta this week. What stood out most wasn’t just theme of the event (Beyond ChatGPT: Unlocking the Power of AI & Open Source) or the incredible speakers; it was the room. The women in attendance were fully engaged, asking thoughtful, insightful questions and really leaned into how AI can elevate their businesses. That level of curiosity and participation made the conversation even more impactful. AI is not just a tool; it’s a strategic advantage. The leaders who choose to leverage it intentionally will define what the next generation of business looks like. I’m honored to have been part of the conversation. Thank you Natina Marie Hill for moderating and providing valuable input throughout the conversation. And a huge thanks to Antionette Ball and the WEOP organization for creating a platform that empowers, supports, and advances women. https://weop.org/ #WomenEntrepreneurs #AIinBusiness #Innovation #Leadership #WomenInTech

Antionette Ball shared thisIt was an incredible honor to be featured on a panel discussion for the Atlanta Business League for its Bridge Town Hall Meeting at The Gathering Spot. The ABL does so much to uplift and support business owner, kudos to the phenomenal leadership of Leona Barr-Davenport the amazing women driving impactful programs! Sharing the stage with my niece, Yolanda White was especially meaningful. Witnessing her evolution from a corporate powerhouse at The Coca-Cola Company to the CEO of Dayo Women has been truly inspiring. As the founder of Women's Entrepreneurial Opportunity Project, Inc. an organization dedicated to supporting women in business, it is a privilege to be part of her journey and an even greater honor to be considered a mentor. Here is to the power of women in business and the impact they continue to make!

Antionette Ball reacted on thisAntionette Ball reacted on this“Is it possible to be a lawyer and Beyoncé at the same time?” … sounds a bit silly, really. But it’s a question I once heard — and one that stayed with me. Because for many women, there’s a quiet tension between: Who we are What we do And who we feel we’re allowed to be We’re often told, subtly or otherwise, to choose. To be one thing. To stay in one lane. At Atlanta AI Week, I’ll be speaking about a different idea: You don’t have to reinvent yourself to grow. You’re allowed to expand. Technology — including AI — is making it easier than ever to explore multiple paths. But expansion doesn’t begin with tools. It begins with permission. Permission to: • Be more than one thing • Explore your gifts fully • Live more expansively, not more narrowly And perhaps most importantly — to be visible enough that someone else sees what’s possible. Looking forward to continuing this conversation on Wednesday, April 22. #AtlantaAIWeek #WomenInAI #Leadership #Growth

Maryland Governor's Workforce… • 5K followers
Excited to join this upcoming Lightcast conversation on how states are responding to labor shortages and rethinking workforce investment strategy. Across the country, we’re seeing deeper coordination between workforce systems, higher education, and employers - especially around credentials, apprenticeships, and better use of labor market data and employer input to guide investment. All this is especially crucial in the context of rapid AI adoption, Workforce Pell implementation, and the broader movement at federal and state policy levels toward outcomes-driven education accountability frameworks. Looking forward to sharing a few lessons from Maryland and hearing perspectives from colleagues doing this work across the country. Join me, Dr. Christopher Laney, Raymond Sass, and Barry May on March 18th!

Today I attended the 2025 Economic Inclusion Summit hosted by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce at the Georgia International Convention Center. The panelists shared timely insights on how Georgia can step into its full economic potential through innovation, inclusion, and collaboration. From higher education leaders like Dr. Jann Joseph, Dr. John Fuchko III, and Dr. Georj Lewis discussing workforce innovation, to Aaron Brown of Microsoft highlighting the intersection of AI and opportunity, the message was clear, Georgia’s growth depends on preparing a skilled, future-ready workforce. The conversation led by Amber King, John Hancock, and Antrell Tyson, moderated by Johnathon King, further emphasized how aligning education, business, and community partnerships can bridge workforce gaps while expanding equitable access. Grateful for the Georgia Chamber’s Le Joyce Naylor and Tasha Allen for leading this important conversation and to all the speakers for driving forward-thinking dialogue on economic inclusion and prosperity for all. #EconomicInclusion #GeorgiaChamber #Leadership #WorkforceDevelopment #Inclusion #FutureofWork #EconomicGrowth #GCINCLUSION

As a small business owner, one of the most significant hurdles is getting potential customers to know who you are. One of the things that I appreciate about the Central Virginia African American Chamber of Commerce is how it looks for creative ways to bring visibility to black-owned businesses. Last month, they profiled Quality Moving Services VA, LB academy, Fiscal Fitness Tax & Financial Services, Inc, JM Language Services LLC AND Your Path Coaching and Consulting. If you are interested in learning more about these companies. Check out the Chamber's YouTube page. https://lnkd.in/eQD4GTbk

Driving Impact: Key Takeaways from the SGBC Small Business Roundtable The Southern Georgia Black Chambers hosted a highly impactful roundtable focused on critical community issues that intersect with business and health. We are proud to highlight the work of our featured guests: Kristina Cheek, CLC, CD, CD(DONA), CB-PPN, CBS (SISTA GIRL Birth Initiative): Discussed her mission to combat alarming maternal health disparities in rural South Georgia. She detailed how her community-based, Black-led organization provides essential education, doula support, and advocacy, while demonstrating the power of inter-member collaboration with fellow SGBC businesses like Family Insight and AJ Produced It. Adrienne Banks (LIFELINK of Georgia): Presented a powerful case for organ donation, revealing that 70% of Georgians waiting for a kidney transplant are African American. She offered actionable steps to combat the stigma around donation and encouraged our network to educate their families and friends, highlighting the life-saving potential of one single donor. These conversations exemplify the SGBC's commitment to tackling real-world challenges through business and community engagement. Learn from leaders who are making a difference. Our bi-monthly roundtables are a core benefit of membership. Want to position your expertise in front of a network of change-makers?
