What stands out to me at Binalyze is how thoughtfully our leadership team, and in particular, Emre, Jonathan, Megan, and Hüseyin are leveraging AI and automation to build a great company. We’re embracing AI for what it truly is: an amplifier. It expands capability and accelerates learning—but it also exposes inefficiencies and challenges us to improve how we operate. “Default to Automate” has been part of our DNA from the start. What’s exciting now is the shift from individual productivity to true organizational effectiveness—ensuring speed translates into meaningful outcomes. Emre Tinaztepe built it into the culture from the very beginning, and it shapes how we work across every team. Building individual capability with AI has been a big focus. We have AI Champions, peer flowgramming sessions, AI Literacy training, an AI Fluency Matrix and AI development goals tied to it, all focussed on the individual. People across every team are moving faster, building things they couldn't build before, automating work that used to take days. But individual fluency only gets you so far. Individual productivity and organisational productivity are different problems. Everyone got faster. The organisation didn't automatically follow. A lot of what slows companies down isn't individual output. It's coordination, alignment, decisions, and the quality of the systems people rely on to do their work. AI doesn't fix any of that. If anything it exposes it. As our SVP Product Development put it to me yesterday: "AI has accelerated everything, and amplified any inefficiencies we already had". A few things become harder to ignore when work speeds up. Suddenly your systems of record matter more. The shape of work, who owns what, where information lives, how decisions get made, becomes the thing that determines whether speed turns into results. So the next chapter for us is organisational productivity. It's about how we connect work across teams, tighten the systems people build on, and make sure speed actually compounds instead of creating noise. Which is why we're hiring an AI & Process Automation Engineer. Someone who thinks at the level of workflows and systems, not just individual tasks. Someone who can look at how work flows across Sales, CS, Marketing, People, Finance and Engineering and ask where the real friction sits, then build for it.
