📢ATTENTION coaches, consultants, peer advisory group leaders, implementers, guides, facilitators, chairs, and anyone building a practice on expertise: If you think the lack of leads is causing your growth and scaling problems, you may be mistaken. You most likely don’t have a top-of-funnel problem. You have a selling problem. And those are NOT the same thing. I see it constantly and have witnessed this for the past 25 years. Here’s what people say who are struggling to build their practices or are seemingly stagnant/facing attrition. “I need more leads.” “I need better marketing.” “I need better SEO.” “I need a better website.” “I need a lead gen agency.” “I need AI outreach.” So, they invest. Thousands of dollars. Sometimes even five figures. Then another thousand here. A few more thousand there. And guess what? They’re still in the same place five years later. But here’s the uncomfortable truth most people aren’t willing to hear or face. THEY ARE THE PROBLEM. Their lack of growth isn’t based on sparse traffic or unqualified leads. When you know how to sell the right way, with honesty, integrity, authenticity, and humility, and you stop being entirely dependent on “more leads”, ad spend, and outsourced services promising you endless opportunities… You stop hoping. You start converting. If you’re willing to spend thousands of dollars on marketing every year… 🤔Why not invest a sliver of that in the skill that actually makes everything else work?
