Dan Mishin reposted thisDan Mishin reposted thisIf you want to do the best work of your career — at a company that's redefining an entire industry — keep reading. People are now realizing the category-defining businesses of this decade will be AI-native services. We've been building towards that for the past 2 years and are now scaling like crazy. We raised $60M from Kleiner Perkins, Menlo Ventures, First Round, and Quiet Capital — the largest Series A in legal tech history. Working at Manifest OS isn't for you if you're looking for a chill job at a SaaS company that'll get acqui-hired in 18 months. However, if you're looking to do the best work of your life and drive real impact at a mission-driven company — we should talk. We’re looking to hire thought leaders & doers to take us to the next level: → Head of Performance Marketing: analytically wired, technically sharp, builds paid infrastructure from zero https://lnkd.in/e9ftu_9a → GTM Engineer: the technical superpower for our growth team, closes the gap between what marketing needs and what engineering can build: https://lnkd.in/eCgjKayj → Strategy & Operations, GTM: parachutes into our highest-priority initiatives and gets them to a point where they run without you: https://lnkd.in/ecza6zZm → Events Manager: owns the operational backbone of our events channel across immigrant communities nationwide: https://lnkd.in/eDj8qrEj → Strategy & Operations: solve problems under core operations entailing revenue, quality and supply: https://lnkd.in/e5kKXUYE → Full Stack Developer: backend-focused, AI-native workflow (Cursor, Copilot), building the legal tech platform powering it all: https://lnkd.in/etSbntv7 These aren't roles for people who want to optimize a playbook someone else wrote. They're for people who want to write it. If AI services are the future — and I believe they are — this is the place to build your career right now.

Dan Mishin reposted thisDan Mishin reposted thisNearly 10 years ago I met a kid in the West Village who was putting up fake walls in apartments to improve the affordability of NYC living. His intensity, fearlessness, grit, learning speed and ambition were palpable from our first meeting. Now that kid is making high-quality representation accessible to the 80% of businesses and consumers who currently can't afford it. As someone going through the immigration process right now with my wife and experiencing it regularly at our firm and within our portfolio companies, I'm grateful to have Dan Mishin and Manifest OS supporting us. Psyched for the team and this milestone. Appreciate you guys letting me come along for the ride in a small way. #ProudSmallestAngelInvestor

Dan Mishin shared thisToday, we’re announcing that Manifest OS has raised a $60 million Series A at a $750M valuation to power the next generation of fully AI-native law firms. Thank you Menlo Ventures Kleiner Perkins First Round Capital and Quiet Capital for believing in this vision. After two years of hard work on this mission, I am humbled and privileged to finally share our story. Full video explaining who we are: https://lnkd.in/eGM4DEYH As an immigrant who navigated the long journey to become a US citizen, and later as an entrepreneur building companies, I experienced first hand how broken the legal system is. The billable hour makes costs unpredictable and the process slow, archaic and overwhelming. Manifest OS isn’t solving this problem by just selling AI to lawyers; we are redesigning the law firm business model from the ground up to prioritize certainty, transparency, and speed. By rebuilding the role of the attorney for the AI era, we’re making high-quality representation accessible to the 80% of businesses and consumers who currently can't afford it. We incubated the first Manifest OS powered law firm in business immigration law just over 18 months ago. Since then, we’ve seen Manifest OS scale to powering over 100 attorneys supporting more than 3,000 clients nationally, ranging from small businesses and individuals to some of the leading technology companies in America. Beyond grateful to our investors Shawn Carolan, Croom Beatty, Ilya Fushman, Bill Trenchard, Josh Kopelman, Michael Bloch, Matt Humphrey, David Greenbaum, Stewart Butterfield, Scott Belsky, Gokul Rajaram, Noah Desai Weiss, David Schellhase, A. Toby Espinosa, Zachary Smith, Guillaume "𝑮" Cabane, Micah Moreau, Michael Kives, Bryan Baum, Jason Shuman, Mike McNamara, Howard Rosenberg, and our rockstar team: Tara Neuman, James F. Cariello, Monica Desai Weiss, Avi Goldenberg, Shivanie Barapatre, Alex Shevtsov, Eric Oberman, Matt Gale, Daniel Dong, Gedalia Gillis and more. Dan Mishin shared thisWe had a very eventful summer here at June Homes and I have a couple of important announcements to share: 1. June has turned EBITDA positive earlier this year at $54M+ ARR scale while growing net revenue by more than 60% YoY 2. Our COO and longtime June champion Mauricio Zuniga has become the company’s new CEO. I’ve transitioned to the Chairman role. 3. June’s shareholders helped fund a new tech enabled real estate investment platform NextStory Capital. We’re excited to partner with a seasoned entrepreneur Daniel Cohen as NextStory’s Co-founder and CEO. Dan previously founded and sold Sentral, a >$2 Billion AUM real estate company. More here: https://bwnews.pr/3Z8CKDa When I came to the U.S. in 2017 and struggled to find a quality, affordable place to live, I couldn't stop thinking, “why is this market so broken? Why do 99% of owners require arbitrary year-long leases? Why do apartments come unfurnished in America, and furnished housing is so expensive?” Asking those questions led me to start June Homes. Today, June operates more than 3,000 units in 10 U.S. markets with more than $54M of Gross Revenue per year. Earlier this summer we turned EBITDA positive. We’ve reached a place now where it’s time for our leadership team to evolve to meet the company’s current needs. Our longtime June champion, previously our COO, Mauricio Zuniga has been appointed as the company’s new CEO, and I am transitioning from CEO to the Board Chairman role. Mauricio will drive June into its next phase of growth, progressing toward our long-term vision. I’m confident that he will exceed all expectations as an experienced leader who is resilient, strategic, and wants our team to win together. Today, June also announces its partnership with NextStory Capital - an independent real estate investment platform that acquires multi-family assets to be operated by June Homes (PropCo x OpCo relationship). NextStory is led by a seasoned real estate entrepreneur Daniel Cohen who previously built and sold Sentral (>$2 Billion AUM). With this new partnership, June will expand its managed portfolio even faster and provide better customer experience to its residents by controlling entire buildings owned by NextStory. NextStory will be able to scale its real estate investment platform with one operator that drives above market returns to its investors. Thank you to everyone who believed in my immigrant hustle and ambition. Our team, advisors, investors, owners, renters and partners have been instrumental in realizing this dream. I plan to take a short break and pretty soon will share more about what’s next. More to come 🚀🚀🚀 Dan

Dan Mishin shared thisCongrats to my dear friend Mauricio Zuniga on his promotion to Chief Operating Officer of June. Over the course of the years Mauricio has reinvented and positively impacted various parts of June's business from acquisitions to launches, from portfolio management to operations and support. Dan Mishin liked thisDan Mishin liked thisMost companies are treating DOL’s proposed prevailing wage rule like a policy memo. I think it belongs in the board deck. The Department of Labor is proposing a 20% to 33% increase to prevailing wage floors for H‑1B, H‑1B1, E‑3, and PERM. For a team of just five Level II software developers in New York, this change could mean nearly $100,000 in added annual payroll. This isn’t an edge case: Manifest Law's analysis shows 88% of Level II Software Developer filings, and over 90% of Computer Systems Analyst and Computer Systems Engineer/Architect filings, are currently below where the new floors are likely to land. On Tuesday, May 12, Manifest Law is hosting a webinar with former immigration judge Hon. Mimi Tsankov (Ret.), Manifest immigration attorney Nandini Nair, and former Acting Administrator of DOL’s Wage and Hour Division Don Harrison to walk through what executive teams need to know and do now. We’ll cover: 🔴 Which roles and wage levels are most exposed 🔴 Milestones for the rulemaking process 🔴 What to look for before the new rule goes into effect 🔴 The moves founders, HR, and GCs should make before the rule is final If immigration is part of how you compete for talent, this is the moment to move from wait and see to plan and act. I'll post the link for the webinar in the comments.

Dan Mishin liked thisDan Mishin liked thisIf you think the value of an immigration lawyer is mostly ‘filling in forms,’ the new prevailing wage proposal is a good reminder of how much strategy is actually involved. Under the Department of Labor’s proposed rule, prevailing wage floors for H‑1B, H‑1B1, E‑3, and PERM would rise by 20% to 33%. This shift turns routine extensions and PERM cases into real budget decisions, not just paperwork. For common H‑1B roles like Software Developers, Computer Systems Analysts, and Computer Systems Engineers/Architects, Manifest Law’s analysis shows that the vast majority of Level II filings sit below where the new wage floors are likely to land. Where counsel actually earns their fee isn’t in saying “the wage is going up,” but in helping you decide what to do about it: which LCAs and PERM PWDs to accelerate now, how your SOC codes and job architecture will age under the rule, and when it makes more sense to move someone up the wage ladder versus redesigning a role. On Tuesday, May 12, Manifest Law is hosting a webinar with Hon. Mimi Tsankov (Ret.), Nandini Nair, and former Acting Administrator of DOL’s Wage and Hour Division Don Harrison to walk through exactly these questions. They’ll cover: 🔴 Which roles and wage levels are most exposed 🔴 Key milestones in the rulemaking process 🔴 The moves founders, people teams, and in‑house counsel should make before the rule is final If you want this rule change to feel like a controlled adjustment rather than a surprise, this is the moment to put a proactive plan in place. 📆 Register for the May 12 webinar (1 to 2 p.m. ET, Zoom): https://lnkd.in/gh2vK9Mq

Even in expensive markets, competition can create opportunity Jerusalem, Tel Aviv & Netanya are all expensive markets And yet, if a particular pocket has temporary oversupply, prices can soften Last year in Netanya, we saw something unusual: three front-facing, first-line-to-the-water apartments came available at the same time, on three successive floors That kind of competition created a price break And because it did, we were able to secure a beautiful front-facing apartment for our clients for under 5 million NIS I am seeing something similar now in one area of Jerusalem Because in real estate, the location sets the stage, but, the competing supply invariably decides the deal

The Israeli Market Split Continues According to the latest data from Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics: 1) New apartment sales dropped 34% 2) Second-hand sales slipped just 5% 3) Luxury deals (10M NIS+) jumped 30% year-over-year There is an inherent qualitative difference between a second-hand apartment in Beersheba and prime real estate in Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv, & Netanya Treating them as one “market” misses the real story This separation is not new — it’s something I’ve been highlighting for a while But the latest data makes it impossible to ignore: Israel’s housing market is moving in two very different directions #Israelrealestate #Jerusalemrealestate #Netanyarealestate #Telavivrealestate

With RL techniques like GRPO, it’s become easy to fine-tune small models to outperform foundation models on vertical tasks. We’re open sourcing Osmosis-Apply-1.7B: a small model that merges code (similar to Cursor’s instant apply) better than foundation models. Links in comments! Using foundation models for high specificity, low complexity tasks like code merging can be overkill - instead, it’s better to use a specialized model instead for higher performance and latency. We fine-tuned the model on 100K real-world code commits where the model needs to merge a code edit snippet into an original code snippet. On the test dataset (subset of CommitPackFT), foundation model performance ranged between 0.77-0.93 reward score. In comparison, Osmosis-Apply-1.7B achieved a 0.98 reward score - while also being 3X-5X more affordable than the next cheaper model AND ~10X faster! Why this matters: the best AI agents use multiple models to ensure task specialization and reliability at scale - on top of cost and latency benefits as well. Links to the model and full write-up (with reward function, hyperparameters, etc.) are in the comments - reach out if you’re interested in using reinforcement learning!

CVCs, if they are well designed and well run, can offer startups value-add in addition to traditional VCs, such as built-in infrastructure for scale. GV (Google Ventures) leads with an impressive 90 unicorn investments, followed by Salesforce Ventures (42) and Intel Capital (40). Central Eurasia needs more Corporate Venture Capital, as it can generate significant benefits both for corporations themselves and for the startup ecosystem as a whole ! Future Laboratory Ventures

Replit just raised $400M at a $9B valuation — and IronArc Ventures doubled down with a sizable investment. We first backed Replit because we believed software creation should be accessible to everyone, not just engineers. That thesis is playing out faster than anyone expected. 50M+ users. 85% of the Fortune 500. On track for $1B in run-rate revenue by year-end. And today they launched Agent 4 — 10x faster than its predecessor. But the numbers aren't what excite me most. It's watching a CMO prototype partnership ideas on game day. My kids building their own video games. Employees spinning up internal tools in hours instead of weeks. Thanks to Amjad Masad Alexander Bibic Robert Kohse and the Replit team for pursuing the mission to bring a billion creators online. Every quarter, that vision looks less ambitious and more inevitable. Congrats to the entire Replit team. We're proud to be part of this journey. CC: IronArc Ventures #Replit #AI #VibeCoding #Venture
