The space will also be home to The Inwood Sacred Site (under construction) to honor the land’s history as a burial ground for enslaved Africans and as a Lenape ceremonial site. In case you missed the story of the site's unique history by Anna Kodé, featured in The New York Times, read it here: https://lnkd.in/exbx_izw

Daniel Bloom reposted thisDaniel Bloom reposted thisFriends, Recent reports of homelessness on the rise can be cause for despair — especially for those experiencing it. At BRC, we don't despair. We're focused on helping, healing and housing New Yorkers in need. That's why in the last year, 1,209 individuals served by BRC moved from homelessness to home, on average more than 3 times a day. And 14,409 times last year -- every 36 minutes -- our outreach teams -- the Orange Angels -- helped someone unsheltered find their way to an appropriate setting. So there is no need to despair; instead join us in making impact: become a volunteer, a staff member, or a donor by clicking here: www.brc.org Thanks for any way you can support us. Wishing you a happy, healthy and hopeful new year. MuzzyHome | BRC | Homeless Nonprofit Organization | New YorkHome | BRC | Homeless Nonprofit Organization | New York

Founded in 1971 by recovering alcoholics living in the Bowery's flophouses, our founders' hope for better days now touches the lives of thousands of New Yorkers. Today, BRC serves nearly 13,000 individuals annually through more than 30 programs across the metropolitan area. This growth and impact is only possible because of supporters like you. This year, when you donate between now and December 3 at Midnight (Giving Tuesday), one of our generous donors will match every donation dollar for dollar. Daniel Bloom liked thisDaniel Bloom liked thisExcited to serve as a jury member for the 2026 DataSnipper Audit Awards!🏆 Honored to join fellow judges Martin Moeller (Microsoft), David Lehmann (Protiviti), and Lexy Kessler (Aprio) in recognizing the individuals shaping the future of our profession. At a time when innovation - especially in AI - is accelerating, it’s equally important that we celebrate the everyday wins: the auditors who solve problems quietly, build stronger teams, and elevate trust across their organizations. Coming on the heels of our team at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) Internal Audit receiving the Audit Trailblazer Award at The Institute of Internal Auditors GAM conference, this resonates even more. Recognition matters - not just for breakthrough ideas, but for the consistent contributions that move our profession forward. Internal auditors: this is your moment. Let’s shine a light on the people who are making a difference - big and small. Who in your network deserves recognition? Nominate them today 👉 www.auditawards.com Nominations close on June 12. #AuditAwards2026 #InternalAudit #AuditExcellence #AuditInnovation #DTCC #InternalAuditMonth

Daniel Bloom liked thisDaniel Bloom liked thisI reviewed enough co-branded marketing materials in my career to know a very specific discomfort. When the creative work proposed by an otherwise capable partner didn't reflect the quality of our business, I couldn't approve its release. (And it led to some awkward conversations that I did not want to have.) Centers of influence face their own version of that moment when they consider making an introduction. Even if they think highly of your expertise, referrals require COIs to extend their own credibility. If your firm is hard to distinguish from the pack, or your external presence doesn't reflect what you deliver in practice, some just won't bother to do it. If relationships are your primary growth engine, it's worth asking how easy you are to refer. And a clearer story travels further than a golf sponsorship ad.

Daniel Bloom liked thisDaniel Bloom liked thisAs someone who relies on relationships cultivated on this platform, I really try to support my fellow publishers, particularly the folks with whom I share history. But recently I've been aggressively scrolling past posts from professionals I genuinely admire in real life. Seeing their bona fide smarts transformed into hollow AI explainer-speak is too icky to witness anymore. I'm just a peer to these folks, so my lack of engagement won’t impact their livelihood. But if your business depends on earning and keeping trust through your expertise, those manufactured observations blur what makes your thinking worth paying attention to. (Side note: the "quiet" reflections irk me the most. How about you?) Founders and practice heads spend years developing perspectives that clients can't get anywhere else. Use AI to save time refining that perspective rather than replacing it. Please just be your flawed human self. We miss you.

Daniel Bloom liked thisDaniel Bloom liked thisThis past year has been challenging, humbling, and full of growth — and I’m still searching for the right opportunity. As I approach nearly a year since my last role, I’m continuing my search for a position in procurement or IT purchasing. I’m eager to get back to doing what I do best: optimizing processes, strengthening vendor relationships, and keeping operations running smoothly. I’m open to remote or hybrid roles, even contractor roles and I’m ready to contribute immediately. If your team is hiring — or if you know someone who is — I’d be grateful for any leads or introductions. Thank you for any support you can offer during this transition. — Christine

Daniel Bloom liked thisDaniel Bloom liked thisCompanies are pivoting beyond experimentation to ensure AI delivers meaningful value and measurable outcomes for Financial Services firms. That shift, from capability to impact, was front and center at Anthropic’s C-Suite Event - The Briefing: Financial Services in NYC this week. The Impressive lineup of speakers included: • Dario Amodei (CEO, Anthropic) • Marco Argenti (CIO, Goldman Sachs) • Lori Beer (Global CIO, JPMorganChase) • Jamie Dimon (CEO and Chairman, JPMorganChase) • Nicholas L. (Head of Product, Financial Services, Anthropic) • Peter McCrory (Head of Economics, Anthropic) • Jonathan Pelosi (Head of Financial Services, Anthropic) • Paul Smith (Chief Commercial Officer, Anthropic) • Andrew Ross Sorkin (NYT / CNBC) • Peter Zaffino (Chairman and CEO, AIG) Equally notable was the audience; an outstanding group of financial services business and technology leaders actively shaping how AI is being deployed at scale across the industry. Here are some top soundbites from the day: 1. We are moving from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide transformation. 2. AI is becoming more autonomous, reliable, and end-to-end. 3. Start with outcomes and value, not the technology. 4. This is the first time you can “buy intelligence,” not just infrastructure. 5. Technology investment pays off, but not in a straight line. 6. Not all areas are maturing at the same pace. It is a "jagged frontier". 7. Cybersecurity and governance must evolve as fast as AI capabilities. 8. The real challenge is cultural change, not technical capability. 9. The question isn’t if jobs change, it’s how they change. 10. Speed matters, but balancing speed with safety is critical. In addition to the above, a few themes stood out: the rise of agentic workflows, the importance of high-quality data and connectors, and the reality that while AI unlocks efficiency, it also creates entirely new revenue opportunities. At the same time, risks from cyber to third-party dependencies are very real and require constant vigilance. Perhaps most compelling: AI is already reshaping work today, not in theory. The organizations that create space to experiment, keep humans in the loop, and align on clear business outcomes will be the ones that lead. Looking ahead, the focus is clear: scale responsibly, measure impact through client outcomes, and embed AI deeply into how work gets done. At The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), this strongly reinforces our continued focus on transforming markets through AI adoption, data, accessibility, cloud-first architecture, operational resiliency, and cybersecurity. #dtcc #anthropic

Daniel Bloom liked thisDaniel Bloom liked thisA lot of us spend time on this platform because we're building something, and some days feel pretty one-sided. It's so easy to get wrapped up in what we want to share or sell that we forget this whole stinkin' space is supposed to be about community. I got an inspiring kick-in-the-pants reminder over the weekend while my daughter competed in a three-day national elementary school chess tournament. When she and her teammates hit hard moments, they leaned on each other to get through. When someone won, everyone felt it. Maybe we can't play a spontaneous game of tag in the middle of a meeting (or can we?), but we can support each other beyond occasionally liking a post. So. If there's anything I can help you talk through, anyone in my network that you've been hoping to meet, or if we're old pals due for a catch-up, I hope you'll DM me. Or if you just need a shot of positive energy, try tackling a colleague with joy when they do something well. Trust me, it works.

Daniel Bloom liked thisSo proud of our team!Daniel Bloom liked thisToday, Spring Health has completed its acquisition of Alma, bringing together two organizations aligned around a shared belief: mental health care should be easier to access and easier to stay connected to over time. While access has improved across the industry, the experience is still often fragmented. People can find care that works, but too often lose it as their needs become more complex, the system becomes harder to navigate, or providers are pulled away by administrative burden. With the transaction complete, our focus turns to execution — expanding access for individuals who need more support, making it easier to find and move through the right care, and simplifying the experience for providers so they can focus on delivering care. Together, Spring Health and Alma now support more than 170 million people worldwide. This is what it means to build the first lifelong mental health platform. We're just getting started. Procurement reporting works best as an early signal, not a retrospective exercise. When leaders have real-time visibility into spend patterns, supplier performance, risk indicators, and compliance, they can forecast with confidence and act quickly as conditions change. Timely, accurate insight supports faster decisions and fewer last-minute course corrections, positioning procurement as a strategic advisor that helps guide the business forward. 95% of AI pilots at companies are failing That's not our claim. That's MIT's 2025 research across 300+ enterprise AI deployments. The reason? Generic AI doesn't understand your workflow. It doesn't speak your domain. It sits in a sandbox, never touching the decisions that actually move your P&L. We spent 25 years inside procurement workflows of India's largest manufacturers — cement plants, pharma facilities, chemical complexes — currently managing ₹1,00,000+ crore in annual procurement spend. So when we built AI for procurement, we didn't build a chatbot. We built 6 domain-specific AI Avatars and 2 RPAs — each embedded directly into the procurement workflow where decisions are made. The MIT report found that domain-specific, workflow-integrated AI from specialized vendors succeeds ~67% of the time. Internal generic AI builds? Only ~33%. This is exactly the approach we took with VENDX Genie. We made a short video showing exactly how it works inside a live procurement environment. Watch it below ↓ (1 min 50 sec — worth every second) https://lnkd.in/gwd9nJCT #ProcurementAI #ManufacturingIndia #eProcurement #ProcurementAutomation #eSourcingSuite #VENDX #MavenVista #GenieAI #AIinBusiness #DigitalTransformation #TechInnovation #AITrends2026

Most procurement teams spend weeks fixing cost problems that started with a messy RFQ. Unstructured quotes, inconsistent data, missing cost details — all of it compounds. And it’s not just anecdotal — only ~37% of procurement processes are fully automated today, even though automation can shave up to 50% off cycle times and reduce errors by nearly 99%. RFQs aren’t just requests. They’re strategic inputs — the place where cost strategy either starts… or breaks. #Procurement #Sourcing #SupplyChain #RFQ #ProcurementIntelligence #CostStrategy #DigitalTransformation

34% of procurement executives report their current spend analytics technology "fell short of expectations." Don't fall into that trap. A good spend analytics solution will: - Automate data extraction with SLA-guaranteed 94%+ accuracy - Aggregate anonymized data for powerful benchmarking - Intelligent data connections and enrichment - Insight engines that generate recommended actions
