David Reuter shared thisExcellent, practical advice that is results driven from Harrison Stevens at TurboTenant. I hope most of LLR Partners sales and marketing leaders are embracing similar conventions. If you are not and need support - please let us know and we can jump in to help.David Reuter shared thisYour website’s organic traffic is down but brand mentions are up. Should you panic? Welcome to the age of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). For the past year, I’ve watched the “SEO is dying” debate rage on LinkedIn. While I’ve secretly enjoyed the crazy comment sections, I think the 2026 reality of SEO is more nuanced than that. SEO isn’t dead. It’s just a little more complicated and but the way we define a win hasn't shifted (for me atleast.) My recommendation? 1. Kill the Vanity Metrics At TurboTenant, our traffic fluctuates. Up in some areas, down in others. But our customer acquisition is up. Why? Because we stopped obsessing over purely informational traffic. That’s the top-of-funnel noise that AI engines are now absorbing. If you’re optimizing for clicks that don't drive action, you’re playing a losing game. 2. The Zero-Click Reality SEO is no longer just about ranking #1 on Google. It’s about being the #1 cited source inside a Gemini, ChatGPT, or Perplexity answer... and being ranked #1 on Google. In a zero-click world, users get the answer without ever visiting your blog. If your brand isn't the one providing the data behind that answer, you don't exist to the modern consumer. This begs the next question.. So how do we stay relevant? 🧑🔬Opinionated content: AI models summarize facts. They can't replicate a unique, data-backed POV. The secret is simple. Let human writers with deep subject matter expertise and opinions actually write. 🏗️ Technical entity structure: Is your data marked up so an AI agent can digest it? This is honestly where AI can really accelerate your strategy. There are a lot of ways to optimize your site specifically for AI crawling and ingestion of your content. 🫥 The citation game: If AI engines aren't mentioning your brand in their buying guides, you don't exist to the modern consumer. My unlock here? Content syndication and getting our content and AUTHORITY across hundreds of sites. This isn’t backlinking. It's having your content and brand everywhere. If your SEO strategy is still traffic, your success story is going to be more complicated. If you can make sure your brand is mentioned everywhere and your core SEO strategy is getting pages that generate ACTION to rank, I think you are in a solid place to win. #SEO #GEO #ContentStrategy #AISearch #PerformanceMarketing

David Reuter shared thisWe’re excited to announce the acquisition of BigParking, bringing more than 120 match day event locations onto the JustPark marketplace in the UK. This is about more than scale. It’s a step forward in how we support and partner with major UK football clubs (including Brentford FC, Wrexham AFC, Birmingham City and Swansea) in managing match day parking and improving the overall fan experience. As part of this expansion, we’ll be rolling out JustPark EventPass across these sites and more widely across the UK, allowing fans to pre-purchase fixed-rate event parking, removing uncertainty and making match day travel simpler. BigParking has built a reputation in football and event parking, combining smart software with expertly run event-day operations and great community partnerships. As a long standing partner of JustPark, we’re excited to have the opportunity to continue to deliver amazing match day experiences for fans across the UK. The future of match day parking is bookable, predictable and seamless, and we’re proud to be building it with clubs across the country.David Reuter shared thisWe’re excited to announce the acquisition of BigParking, bringing more than 120 match day event locations onto the JustPark marketplace in the UK 🇬🇧 This is about more than scale. David Reuter shared thisThanks Wil Reynolds - amazing original version and appreciate the context and changes in your update. You are a unique entreprenuer and appreciate how you think about things and your willingness to share the raw details!David Reuter shared thisIf you know me, I downplay wealth a LOT, I'm uncomfortable talking about it, and I'd rather people not know anything about me other than I love my work and I get paid decently to do it. However when I went through the opportunity to sell, I realized no one was giving the rawest parts of what can go through someone's mind when "life changing money" is on the table. A recent post from someone made me reflect on this 10 year old post and update it.

David Reuter shared thisExcellent advice from Darren Abrahamson founders and leaders as they think about their future choices and how to embrace disruptive technologies.David Reuter shared thisIn a recent conversation with Axios, Darren Abrahamson discussed how the current public market volatility is reshaping the debate around AI and private enterprise software companies. Broad selloffs often reprice sectors indiscriminately, but competitive positioning does not evolve at the same speed as valuations. The more important question is not whether AI will reshape software, but which platforms are structurally positioned to benefit from it. Darren shares how colleagues across our technology platform are evaluating this moment and where we see meaningful differentiation emerging across enterprise software. Link: https://lnkd.in/eD2YBPgU

David Reuter shared thisCongratulations Tim Flannery and the Passthrough team! Chapter 1 was a great success and wishing you all well in the next phase with iCapital!David Reuter shared thisTo our investors, advisors, clients, partners, and current and former Passcrew: I'm excited to share that Passthrough is being acquired by iCapital. The team, including my partner Benjamin Doran and I, will be coming over. Same Passcrew, same products and services, more resources. To our customers and partners: thanks for trusting us with your most important relationships. I'm sure the earliest ones felt like they were making a bet on us. We wouldn't exist without your support. We're excited to keep delivering for you, just from a new email address. To our investors: thank you for being constant and consistent backers of our business. I don't care what size check you wrote, I took our obligations to you seriously. Special thanks to Sam Cates Patrick O'Shaughnessy of Positive Sum and brendan mathews of Motley Fool Ventures. To our team: it's a crazy thing joining a startup. Electronic sub docs didn't really exist before we started this. You helped us create the investor onboarding category and then added a world-class compliance product to it. Ben and I have onboarded every single person at this company and during orientation we cover our values. We have two that stand out: - Encourage excellence: you can’t pay people to care. You can just create an environment in which they do. - Always be helpful: we win together or lose together. It’s irrational to be selfish. Your number one priority is the person next to you and your number two priority is everything else. Passthrough’s obviously been a personally meaningful part of my life, but I think that’s true for my team too. And I think many people would say this is the most helpful place they’ve ever worked. That makes me happy. And last but not least: thank you to Benjamin Doran and Alexandre Laplante for bringing me on this journey. I'm lucky to have found such incredible partners. And now: onto the next chapter.

David Reuter reacted on thisI spent Tuesday in prison …2+ hours from home..no phone…no internet. The day was in honor of someone I loved. Intensely listening, observing 30 people share portions of their story while perceiving humanity in a new way. Very little eye contact, emotion early in the day and no laughter. As our time together progressed, I got up to share a personal story of my own, my voice broke and a tear appeared. I was the first to cry in front of everyone but certainly not the last. Soon there after, a few came up to me, shared their own experience. I saw their eyes, tears, smile…heard of their dreams along with laughs. I had a unique opportunity to interact one on one with people who got caught, their biggest mistake known by all as they pay deeply for their worst day on the planet. I learned how their upbringing was filled with few opportunities and challenges hard to comprehend. There was zero blame, only acknowledging the truth, sitting with regret and shame while planning for the future. The day was deeply moving, vulnerable and uncomfortable at times for everyone. Their feelings of fear, uncertainty, hope, forgiveness, redemption plus the skills needed to re-enter society, re-build a life were all discussed. I am headed to San Quentin next week for more. When a person I loved got out of prison…he said he was going to do this…but never did…it is my way of continued respect/honor for him. Who are you honoring? #thelastmile #breakthrough #sanquentinprison #coloradodepartmentofcorrections #staceyputka #chrisredlitz

I just dropped a new episode of The Ownership Economy podcast as we continue our march to the 2025 Summit, featuring Bill Castellano Ph.D., Director of the Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing at Rutgers! Bill brings a wealth of knowledge from his extensive career, first on Wall Street and now in academia, empirically proving the immense value of employee ownership. We dove deep into how it drives employee engagement, enhances organizational performance, and contributes to a more equitable economy. Key takeaways from our conversation: - Broad-based employee ownership is strongly linked to higher productivity, increased customer satisfaction, and greater market value. - Employee-owned firms exhibit higher survivability rates, even through major recessions. It's a powerful tool for addressing wealth inequality, with employees in ownership programs consistently showing significantly higher long-term and retirement savings. For Founders & Business Owners looking to transition their companies: - Consider employee ownership as a robust succession strategy, offering a viable alternative to traditional sales. - Unlock significant tax benefits, such as capital gains relief for C-Corps with ESOPs (1042) and federal tax exemptions for S-Corp ESOPs. New policy initiatives and funding mechanisms are being explored to ease financing for these transitions. For Investors and those interested in the future of work: - Employee ownership is critical for navigating the AI revolution, fostering highly engaged workforces crucial for redesigning work and integrating technology effectively, rather than just eliminating jobs. - The recent 1600% increase in Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs) since 2014 signals a growing trend in specific forms of shared ownership. Investing in employee-owned models can drive positive economic and social impact. Don't miss Bill at the Ownership Economy Summit 2025! He'll be sharing more insights on scaling employee ownership and its transformative potential. 🔗 Listen to the full episode now!
