Earlier this summer, the U.S. passed the GENIUS Act, creating a clear framework for stablecoins. For years, the lack of regulatory clarity kept institutions on the sidelines. But now, the picture is changing. Stablecoins are not "just another crypto product," they are a digital infrastructure for payments and settlement. When merchants, enterprises, and sovereign entities can transact instantly and securely on-chain, without the weight of legacy intermediaries, the entire financial system becomes more efficient. What makes this moment important is not only the recognition of stablecoins in law, but the signal it sends: 👉 Technology and regulation are beginning to align. Every major wave of adoption has followed this same pattern. Once the rules are clear, adoption compounds, capital flows in, and standards begin to emerge. For those of us building at the infrastructure layer, this is validation. It means the systems we’ve been developing are about to become essential. The U.S. has often been late to acknowledge digital assets, but once it does, the pace is rapid. With the GENIUS Act, we are at the start of a structural shift that will redefine how value moves through the economy.
