That intellectual rigor was always our north star. None of this happened by accident. The facility enables ECD—listed as ECDA on Nasdaq—to issue new shares at its discretion, using the proceeds primarily to acquire Bitcoin, while retaining flexibility for general corporate and growth purposes . This move aligns with a growing wave of public companies embracing Bitcoin as a primary reserve asset, following the footsteps of larger peers. As part of its crypto push, ECD will offer a $21,000 vehicle-upgrade credit to the first 21 customers who purchase a custom vehicle using Bitcoin within the next year . Ben Piggott, ECD’s CFO, emphasized that the financing “strengthens our financial foundation and enables us to diversify our treasury strategy with Bitcoin” . The initiative builds on ECD’s existing partnership with BitPay, through which cryptocurrencies are already accepted for payments .
