Gena Ostrovsky liked thisGena Ostrovsky liked thisEvery time I write a post that the problem in Gaza is Hamas but not only, the residents as well, I get responses like: what the children are to blame, Israel is carrying out collective punishment or other variations of the same arguments. True, not all residents of Gaza are looters, murderers, kidnappers and abusers, who took part in the massacre of the 7th of October. But it is important to look at reality as it is. Hamas was elected to rule Gaza by the people of Gaza. Education in recent decades has preached hatred and murder of Jews. In the attack on the 7th of October, Hamas terrorists, Islamic Jihad terrorists, UNRWA workers and many Gazan residents took an active part. When the abductees were brought to Gaza, there was a mass celebration in Gaza that hailed and praised the massacres and looting carried out in Israel. What we see in the video is not warm hospitality of the Middle East, but participating in the kidnapping of innocent Israeli citizens. Are all Gaza residents guilty, certainly not, there are even a few who came out against the actions. But was Gaza as a collective, part of the massacre and guilty of initiating a war against Israel, certainly yes. So to all the commenters who distort reality; This is not a collective punishment, but an existential war aimed at returning the abductees and neutralizing the threat to the citizens of Israel and the existence of the State of Israel.

But we must admit that the Egyptians also have their own experience on the subject. Since the Palestinian entity was invented, about sixty years ago, those who drive and lead the idea are terrorist organizations. It is important to remember that the Palestinians are originally immigrants who were expelled from other countries in the Middle East and arrived in the territories of historical Israel. Already 200 years ago the Egyptians had a rivalry with the clans that were created here, mainly in the Hebron area and massacred them. Later, the Egyptians experienced them when Gaza was under their control and rushed to get rid of Gaza in order not to deal with people they perceived as inferior and only acted hostile towards the Egyptians. And what about the experience of the others? Throughout the last 50 years, every Arab country that tried to allow those "Palestinians" to immigrate to them, experienced terrorism and unrest that undermined the government. It happened in Libya, Jordan and of course Lebanon. Apparently something in social DNA is like a self-fulfilling prophecy. So as far as Arab countries are concerned, there is no Arab brotherhood and no Muslim brotherhood. But of course it would be convenient if the compassionate Jews found a permanent solution to the terrorist and hate movement, so if the Arab countries don't get rid of the Palestinians, maybe they will get rid of the Jews and Israel. So thanks, but no thanks. Until something fundamental changes in the Palestinian DNA, we will continue to protect ourselves from the people who admire terrorism.

I recently gave a talk about Agentic Development at AlmatyJS Light 7. Adding instruction files like AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md to the repository is a worthwhile way to improve development. These files help agents understand the project, how to run it, and what conventions to follow. Keeping the instructions short and structured is important. When they become too large, agents tend to follow them worse. Clear instructions reduce iteration cycles, lower costs, and improve the quality of the generated code. I really like the point in Honza’s post about the “corporate stew,” which often forms when companies mix different approaches, hopes, ideas and emotions and then wonder why change isn’t working. And this doesn’t apply only to sales activities. That’s exactly where the essence of every successful transformation begins. Before a company launches a new project, changes processes or invests in technology, it needs clarity in three fundamental areas: 1️⃣ Expectations What exactly is the change supposed to deliver? Not “better results.” But which results, when, for whom, and under what conditions. Without this, chaos emerges everyone expects something different. 2️⃣ Goals How will we know the change is paying off? A goal must be measurable and pragmatic. A transformation without clear target metrics is just a cost, not an investment. 3️⃣ Concept How will the change work in everyday operations? Who does what, when, why, how it’s measured, and how responsibilities are handed over. If this isn’t clearly defined, the change collapses at the first conflict of priorities. Only then and really only then does it make sense to solve the structure of the change, tools, processes, leadership or project management. This is exactly what I help companies with as a change partner: Aligning expectations, setting clear goals, creating a concept that works in practice, and bringing the entire transformation to life so the team can actually carry it.
