🔥 **Hot Take:** The most overused and under-discussed function in CDK is the **WOW function**. It’s meant to streamline, but let’s be honest—it often hides more than it helps. Most dealers have the WOW threshold set too high or it’s used too frequently. As a result: * Small balance issues on schedules get overlooked * Warranty labor and parts billing disparities are masked * Commissions tied to counterman performance or advisor sales summaries? Probably off. When the WOW is used as a band-aid instead of a diagnostic tool, you're not solving problems—you’re burying them. The function itself isn’t the enemy. But if you’re not **auditing it regularly**, you’re likely misreporting, overpaying, or worse… not even aware there’s a problem. Just my hot take. Agree? Disagree? Dealers own the customer relationship. They know the product. They know what that customer typically requires.
