Jonathan Zoob shared thisLeadership isn’t about doing the work for your team. It’s about trusting them to do it. As we wrap up Q1 and head into Q2, I’ve been thinking a lot about that while watching Arizona’s run to the Final Four under Tommy Lloyd. As a UofA alum and huge hoops fan, it’s been incredible to see the team make their first Final Four since 2001 (my sophmore year). What stands out isn’t just the results—it’s how they’re getting there. Lloyd didn’t chase trends. While much of college basketball leans heavily on the 3-point shot, Arizona built a system around consistency, fundamentals, and playing to their strengths. More importantly, he trusted his players to lead—especially in the biggest moments. After trailing Purdue at half, it wasn’t panic or over-coaching that turned the game. It was composure, adjustments, and a player-led mindset that fueled the comeback. That’s leadership. And it translates directly to how we build and scale teams in business. As leaders, especially as organizations grow, the temptation is to jump in: Close the deal yourself Fix the problem yourself Be the “hero” But real scale—and real performance—comes from something harder: ➡️ Trusting your directors to lead their teams ➡️ Letting them make decisions (and sometimes mistakes) ➡️ Holding them accountable for outcomes—not controlling every input Because just like in March Madness, success isn’t about one person carrying the team. It’s about building a system where: Everyone knows their role Leaders at every level step up Execution is consistent under pressure March Madness is a great reminder of this. The teams that advance aren’t the ones with the most talent on paper—they’re the ones with trust, clarity, and shared ownership. Sales organizations are no different. The best teams don’t rely on a single closer. They rely on leaders who develop other leaders. s/o Corbet Pollack Eryk Gilinsky Jeremy Davison That’s the shift: From doing → to trusting From controlling → to empowering From individual wins → to team-driven results If you want to win in March—or in sales—you don’t need to do more. You need to trust more. #beardown #leadership #sales #marchmadness

Jonathan Zoob posted thisSince my inbox is filled with "circling back emails", as I wrapped up my first full quarter at Criteria Corp, it felt like the right time to circle back here on LinkedIn. Stepping into a role with a strong team and a great product is an ideal situation—but I certainly didn’t expect us to deliver the BEST QUARTER IN COMPANY HISTORY right out of the gate! What makes this milestone even more meaningful is how we achieved it. This wasn’t driven by a single year-end whale. All three segments delivered. As a sales leader, that’s the absolute best outcome you can ask for. Inheriting an existing sales organization is never easy, so huge credit goes to the entire Criteria sales org and our broader GTM teams. They stuck with me as I did my best Miley Cyrus impression—embracing change instead of pushing back—and that made all the difference. Now it’s back to zero. A new quarter. A new year. A new record to break. Incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished—and even more excited about where we’re headed. 🚀 #HRTech #salesleadership #circlingback

Jonathan Zoob posted thisPost acquisition, it was incredible to take the summer off to be with my family, go on long walks with Scooby and play as much golf as humanly possible. But all good must things come to an end, but this end is the start of a new beginning.....I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as VP of Sales at Criteria Corp! The opportunity to go back to my roots in HR Tech, while getting to work with incredible leaders like Melissa McCann-Tilton Chris Walker Jam Khan , Criteria was a no brainer decision! I am thrilled to be joining a company that's reshaping the future of hiring, putting an emphasis on looking beyond the resume to help organizations make data driven hiring decisions. And speaking of hiring... yes, yes I am! 🚀 Lets go!

Jonathan Zoob shared thisNot all teams are the same, so why would you manage all teams the same way? Some teams need a leader who is in the weeds, managing every step of the way, constant involvement to help grow, learn and eventually succeed. Some teams need a leader to help get them from good to great, letting them fail fast and learn from mistakes, helping them identify gaps, to help them get to the next level. And some teams just need that leader to help get them over the mountain top. They've spent years working on their craft and perhaps just need a little guidance and support. One of my favorite parts of being a leader is finding where I can help the team win. In my latest experience, this team needed very little of me. They needed support, guidance and dad jokes. And the result, undefeated season, zero goals allowed and the Middle School District Championship. As leaders, we are advocates for our team. We are not the focus, the team is. We are not the star, the team is. The team comes first, and as a leader, there is no better feeling than seeing your team succeed. #girldad #leadership

This comes as no surprise to us Posties, but hey, who doesn't like awards? Speaking of awards.... It was an honor (and a shock) to win the 2024 Leadership award, but it was even better to get to celebrate winning with Katie Koppes, our 2024 Sales Rep of the Year. 2024 was a blast and here is to an even better 2025!! #Forbes #Postal #CompanyCulture #StartupSuccess #WorkplaceExcellence #EmployeeEngagement #Teamwork #Innovation #CareerOpportunities #CompanyMilestone #PoweredbyPostal

Jonathan Zoob shared thisBuilding successful teams is not easy. You have different personalities, different skill sets, different roles, different backgrounds, different levels of experience, etc. But those differences mean next to nothing when you align on a common goal as a team. This years season was another reminder that a united team can accomplish more than any individual. If we can put differences aside, we can be better, together. I believe that mantra applies to sports, business and life. Yes, we lost in the semifinals, but anyone on that team would say the season was a success (especially for a basketball team made of up soccer, volleyball and softball players). So proud of these girls, but a great reminder that we are better together. #girldad #ballislife (ps: yes, those team hoodies were made by our very own Postal PaperPlane team!)

Jonathan Zoob shared this5,216% revenue growth over the last three years. I'd say that's pretty, pretty, pretty good. That type of growth does not go unrecognized. Postal has been ranked the 34th fastest-growing technology company in North America on Deloitte's prestigious Technology #Fast500 list! This is a testament to a great product, incredible people, and a drive to be the best in the industry. Another great day to call yourself a Postie!!

Jonathan Zoob posted thisAs we are in the thick of eventSZN, its the perfect time to review the Postal "State of Swag Report". A few keys to a successful swag plan: 🔑 Quality matters most—people want swag that will last the test of time (not just though the event) 🔑 Choice is powerful— don't tell people what they want, let them choose! 🔑 Swag isn’t just for show— good swag gets used, not left on on a table 3 booths down. 🔑 Non-wearables > wearables - if it's not your company, you probably won't wear the t-shirt, but there are tons of options to get your brand out there! 🔑 Sustainability matters - on-demand swag options help reduce both waste and cost! Jonathan Zoob reacted on thisJonathan Zoob reacted on thisWarmly just had another strong quarter! And here's what how one of my top reps hit 112% 💪🏻 He shows up everyday with great energy and his own brand (this matters to keep demos exciting) He focuses on DQing more than trying to make it work with none ICP fits... He ALWAYS gets next steps... Literally, he blocks the last 5 minutes on every call to nail down a calendar time live on that call. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE CALL. His follow up time on demos is usually same day or the next morning, and he uses AI (shoutout to Sybill). He is very direct on pricing. And makes a personalized pricing deck for each deal. He uses mid-funnel sequences more than most reps as an awareness play.. which keeps conversations going on autopilot. He's even brought back deals from them being in this type of nurture. He leans on solution based selling. Building the business case, and multi-threading heavily. When pipeline feels low, he self-sources. His go to is hitting up closed lost deals which is a GOLD MINE. If you follow this process, you may see your attainment go up as well. Moral of the story? Be more like Matt Leigh 👏🏻 #Warmly #SuccessStory #Wins #SalesTips

Jonathan Zoob liked thisJonathan Zoob liked thisFor 10 months nobody would hire me. Over 150 applications. Every single one tailored. Keywords right. Format clean. Did everything the career coaches and gurus tell you to do. And Nothing. Then Criteria Corp did something different. They didn't start with my resume. They sent me an assessment and let my ability speak for itself. I got the job. And it changed how I see hiring forever. Now I work here. I sell this product every day. Not because it's my quota. Because I was the candidate getting filtered out of your process. 75% of resumes never make it to a human. I was in that 75%. Your ATS keeps the process moving. It was never built to tell you who's worth betting on. Criteria is. That's not a pitch. That's my story. If I was in your pipeline today, would your process find me?

Jonathan Zoob reacted on thisJonathan Zoob reacted on thisWarmly's Autopilot Agent has been increasing inbound conversion by as much as 33%. Add a script tag, then 30 minutes to set up. That's it. Result: You convert visitors right there, while they're still on your site because it can offer a full demo. Two weeks ago I was on a sales call when the prospect changed her mind mid-sentence: "Actually we're switching from Slack to MS Teams." Embarasssingly... I didn't know if we supported that. But our agent heard her. Pulled up our integrations slide page, while I was still talking. Started walking her through both our MS Teams and Slack integration. It is crazy what these things are capable of doing now. Think of it as a live sales rep that knows everything your best reps know, lives on your site 24/7 to give demos, answer questions, qualify prospects, book meetings, and Slack a human rep when they need to be looped in. It scales for inbound traffic surges from marketing pushes. It knows who's on the site, your offering, how you handle objections, the best slides to show and when, and how you stack up against your competitors. Did you visitor dropped off the chat without booking? The agent automatically sends a personalized follow-up email and adds them to your LinkedIn and Meta retargeting campaigns. That is the power of our #1 best-in-class person-level website de-anonymization. All the work an inbound SDR would be doing, but it scales infinitely and never sleeps. Three things make it "not-a-chatbot": 1. It thinks. Pulls your site, help center, internal docs, and CRM. Picks its own qualification path. 2. It gives demos. Add a trigger in natural language for when key slides or videos should be shown and it does it. 3. It has a face. Optional video avatar. Visitors stop chatting with a widget. They start talking to a person. That person could be YOU or a digital-twin of every AE on the team. Three things that are special: 1. It never forgets. Pulls from our context graph of every interaction you've had with the prospect on or off your website. 2. You can train it before deploying. See how it holds up in a sandbox. Everything is version controlled. 3. It self-improves. Without being asked, it analyzes its own conversations to maximize the goals you set (for the nerds: it uses decision traces in our AI Agent Harness + does LLM-as-a-judge evals to get better). Meetings booked, demos completed, qualified handoffs. The chatbot category is over. Drift sunset 7 weeks ago. Real agents that work end-to-end are what replace it. Here's my offer: 1. Comment AGENT → I'll give you a link to get +500/month free leads (de-anonimizying your website traffic) 2. Book a demo + show up and I'll give you a $20 amazon gift card 3. Try us out, get at least 10%+ lift on your inbound conversion in 30 days or I'll personally train your agent until you do $20 is yours for the demo. The 33% lift is yours when you deploy. Let's go. Warmly, Max

California HR Compliance Just Got an Upgrade: 3 Major Changes Every Employer Needs to Know in 2025 California employers, take note: HR compliance is evolving quickly, and staying ahead of the curve isn’t just smart—it’s necessary. Here’s a quick guide to the biggest HR changes that could impact your business this year: 🔹 1. Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (SB 553) Effective July 1, 2024, every California employer must have a written plan to prevent workplace violence. This means: ✅ Training employees on how to recognize and respond to threats ✅ Documenting your prevention efforts ✅ Having clear protocols for handling incidents Failing to implement a compliant plan can expose you to serious liability. 🔹 2. Off-Duty Cannabis Use Protections (SB 700) California law now prohibits employers from discriminating against employees or applicants who use cannabis off the clock. This means you can’t refuse to hire, discipline, or terminate someone solely because of lawful off-duty cannabis use. ✅ Review your policies now to avoid costly discrimination claims. 🔹 3. Pay Transparency Requirements (SB 1162) Employers with 15 or more employees must now: ✅ Include pay ranges in every job posting ✅ Report pay scale data to the state These rules are part of California’s ongoing push for pay equity and transparency—and noncompliance can mean fines and reputational harm. Why This Matters Noncompliance isn’t just risky—it’s expensive. Lawsuits, penalties, and reputational damage can derail even the most successful businesses. Our team helps California employers stay ahead of new requirements and protect their businesses. Let’s make sure you’re ready. #CaliforniaHR #EmploymentLaw #WorkplaceSafety #CannabisLaw #PayTransparency #Compliance #HRUpdates #EmployerResources

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗚𝗧𝗠 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. That’s how we see it—both as former operators and through the lens of our recruiting work. It’s not just about scoping features, setting timelines, or gathering user feedback. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗠𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲-𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱. They understand how the product drives acquisition, retention, and expansion. They’re involved in go-to-market strategy—sales calls, pricing discussions, messaging alignment. And frankly, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽) 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣&𝗟. So if you’re a PM candidate prepping for interviews, ask yourself: 👉 Can you clearly speak to the impact you’ve had on revenue, margins, or retention? 👉 Do you understand how your product decisions shaped business outcomes? If all you can talk about is how “cool” the features were or how many users “liked” it, you’ll be seen as someone who builds interesting things—not someone who builds products that 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

Real Girls Roadmap to… • 28K followers
You’ve invested in the latest sales intelligence platform, with access to all the buying intent data and AI-powered insights you could ask for. Yet, months later, the win rate still hasn’t budged. Sound familiar? You’re definitely not alone. Working with hundreds of staffing firms, we’ve seen it time and again: no tool, no matter how sophisticated, can truly replace a warm referral or a relationship built on trust. At the end of the day, the fundamentals still matter most—building relationships, generating leads, and closing deals. But here’s the twist: only about 5% of buyers are ready to act at any given time. Most prospects need genuine connection and consistent nurturing long before they’re ready to sign. So, it’s not either/or. The firms that really thrive blend the best of both worlds: 🚀 Use a strong ATS/CRM as your launchpad. 🎯 Identify high-potential leads with tools like Bullhorn’s MarketIQ or ZoomInfo. 📝 Automate routine touchpoints with sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, SourceWhale). 🧑🏫 Gain call insights and coaching opportunities with conversational intelligence tools (Gong, Fathom, Chorus.ai). 🟢 Never underestimate referrals and your network—they often outperform even the smartest algorithms. When you strike this balance, the results are huge. Technology takes care of the busywork, so your team can focus on what actually moves the needle—building trust, nurturing relationships, and closing deals. AI and new platforms (Bullhorn Amplify, Salesforce Einstein, and more) are tools to strengthen the basics—not replace them. How are you blending time-tested sales basics with today’s tech tools? Let’s trade notes—We'd genuinely love to hear what’s working for you. Ready to give your team a real edge with AI?
