Kyle Evans shared thisWe are entering an era where speed is the only form of risk mitigation. If a project takes 12 months to deploy, it is dead on arrival. By this time next year, if it takes 6 months, it will likely be obsolete. Milestone Hit: Q1 Planning. Milestone Hit: Q2 Scoping. Milestone Hit: Q3–Q4 Building. To me, the above is effectively negligence. While you are six months into a waterfall chart, the underlying technology has already iterated twice. The problem you set out to solve in January has fully mutated by July. 60 to 90 days. Value shipped. If you can’t deploy a working solution in that window, with the structural ability to scale already baked in, you aren’t building equity. You are building legacy code that hasn't launched yet. On paper, a milestone hit that isn't in production is indistinguishable from an expense. #DigitalTransformation #SpeedToValue #EnterpriseIT #Execution #DeployedDynamics

Kyle Evans shared thisI read a study recently that described ADHD not as a deficit of attention, but as "Attention Application Disorder," and that really resonated with me. We usually think of the diagnosis as an empty tank, but for me, it actually feels like a surplus. It feels like having a floodlight that takes in everything at once without the ability to filter it down. The struggle isn't having the focus, it is the mechanism for applying it. My brain is constantly running a subconscious cost-benefit analysis on everything I do. It asks if the energy required to start a task is worth the reward I will get from finishing it. If the answer is no, the task doesn't just feel difficult, it feels physically impossible. This actually became a huge part of how we approached the design of ChannelOS. When I look at standard enterprise software that forces you to click through twelve different menus just to find a price, my brain effectively shuts down. It is simply too much friction for too little reward. So we built the platform for the "application" brain, which turns out to be how most high-performing sales agents are wired anyway. We stripped out the noise that doesn't help you close a deal right now, and we tried to make the actual workflow feel tactile and responsive so you get that little bit of feedback that keeps you moving forward. We didn't just want it to be fast. We wanted it to feel like walking downhill instead of uphill. If a piece of software makes you feel tired just looking at it, that isn't a user failure, it is a design failure. #Neurodiversity #ProductDesign #ChannelOS #DeployedDynamics
-
Kyle Evans shared thisThe headlines this week are missing the point. Blaming AI for executing a command "too fast" is like blaming a Ferrari for hitting a wall. The failure wasn't the horsepower. It was the driver. We are seeing a rush of hot takes warning that "AI is moving too fast" and that we need to slow down development. I completely disagree. If you look at the actual incident, the negligence is staggering. First: Why did the agent have root access? In most modern architecture, even the human admin doesn't need constant root access. Granting an autonomous script god-mode permissions isn't a "software bug." It is architectural malpractice. Second: Where were the backups? You are running a delete command to clear cache files on a production drive. You are doing this without human oversight. And you are doing it without a snapshot? That isn't an AI problem. That is IT 101. The miracle of AI is that it creates infinite leverage. It is instantly ubiquitous. You no longer need to be a master architect to wield massive power; you just need an API key. That is also its tragic flaw. The barrier to entry for building powerful systems has dropped to zero. Which means the barrier for breaking systems has also dropped to zero. At Deployed Dynamics, we obsess over speed. We built ChannelOS to be the fastest platform in the industry because in our market, latency is death. We aren't going to slow down. We are just going to make sure we don't hand the keys to people who haven't passed driver's ed. Don't fear the speed. Fear the incompetence. #AI #Engineering #Architecture #ChannelOS #DeployedDynamics

Kyle Evans shared thisWe bet on Vue over Angular for our enterprise stack. A lot of peers told us we were making a mistake. The common wisdom is that if you are building big enterprise systems, you have to use Angular. It is the safe, corporate choice. We ignored that advice. We went with Vue, and looking at our deployment speed this month, I know it was the right call. For us, it comes down to velocity. Angular often feels like you are filling out paperwork before you are allowed to write code. There is so much boilerplate just to get a feature moving. Vue gets out of the way. We are building a team of problem solvers, not framework specialists. When a new engineer joins Deployed Dynamics, I don't want them stuck in documentation for two weeks trying to understand a complex dependency web. I want them shipping value in week one. Vue’s Composition API reads like logical script, so it is much easier to digest. It feels a lot like the physical work we do in the shop. Angular is an assembly line for mass production. Vue is a fabrication bay for custom builds. We aren't optimizing for "industry standard" or checking a box. We are optimizing for shipping speed. If you are a technical leader, ask yourself if you are picking tools because they are popular, or because they actually help your team build faster. #CTO #VueJS #SoftwareEngineering #DeployedDynamics #ChannelOS

Kyle Evans reposted thisKyle Evans reposted thisA feature we have recently integrated into several customer projects is our Dynamic Tutorial, and it is quickly proving far more effective than traditional reference materials or one-time demonstration sessions. Instead of relying on users to remember everything they were shown, the tutorial appears directly on-screen, highlights the elements it is referencing, and can even navigate through the platform automatically, guiding the user step-by-step through the exact workflow they need. We pair this with AI-assisted on-screen chat, allowing users to ask questions in real time. Whether they are trying to locate a feature, understand a button’s purpose, or get help with a more nuanced task, the AI interprets their request and provides an instant, tailored walk-through. At Deployed Dynamics, we do not just build platforms and operational overlays that deliver tremendous value. We also ensure every feature gets used to its full potential. Your team always knows what is available, how it works, and how to get the most out of it. #AI #SaaS #DigitalTransformation #UserExperience #ProductDesign #Productivity #Automation #DeployedDynamics #AIAdoption

People who understand friction inside the carrier channel because they have felt it. People who ship working systems. People who care about outcomes. T-Mobile and NATE just signed a major agreement that directly impacts tower contractors and crews on the ground. Highlights: * Site-specific and regional pricing replaces the one-size-fits-all matrix * 6% rate increase until new RFPs are finalized by end of year * "Scope to Quote" tool launches by Sept 1 to define job-specific SOWs * 30-day pay terms with 50% upfront billing at job start * Relief from Avetta, Ariba, and PaymodeX fees for small businesses * Crackdown on 1099/undocumented labor—reporting and enforcement tools coming * Limits on tiered subs and a move away from "Super GC" and turf vendor models These changes didn’t come easy—NATE pushed hard to get them. This is a win for the people building the network. Now let’s hold them to it. #TowerTechs #WirelessContractors #NATE #TMobile #BuildAmerica #TelecomConstruction #FairPay #TowerSafety

Debt and spectrum pressures force EchoStar Corporation to Dish out its RAN Network to AT&T for $23B. DISH Network Technologies Boost Mobile sells 50MHz of national spectrum on 3.45GHz and 600MHz for 23 billion $. As a result of the deal, DISH will connect its subscribers on AT&T's RAN network (mostly Ericsson, with some Fujitsu Network Communications 1Finity) and its own 5G core network (Mavenir). DISH RAN network (Samsung Networks, MTI (Microelectronics Technology Inc.), 1Finity) will be decommissioned. Dish' #openRAN network could have been an addition to AT&T's if its radios were compatible with Ericsson's.

AT&T completed the acquisition of the Lumen consumer FTTH division and Verizon completed the acquisition of Frontier. Next up is Cox+Charter. A lot of consolidation in the ISP space. Lot of changes in the cellco space as well. The big keep getting bigger - not better, just bigger - with hardly any anti-trust scrutiny. AT&T has far more market power now than it did in 1982 (they were divested in 1984).

One thing that often gets overlooked in conversations about broadband expansion is how much deployment complexity shapes what actually gets built. We tend to focus on bandwidth and peak speeds, but the teams building networks are often dealing with permitting, trenching, spectrum coordination, and interference long before a link ever goes live. Those factors determine whether a project moves forward, gets delayed, or never happens at all. As demand for bandwidth continues to grow, the industry will need more tools that make it faster and easier to deploy high capacity links, especially in places where traditional infrastructure is difficult to build. The future of connectivity will come from expanding the toolbox so networks can scale faster and reach more communities.

281 Mbps 5G demos look dazzling, yet 89 % of customers still reach for a plain SMS —and 9 % of Americans can’t even get a 5 G bar . The real gap in mobile isn’t speed. It’s coverage and habit. Mobile habits speak first • Text is the comfort channel. Nearly nine in ten consumers would rather type than talk, while >70 % of Gen Z associate an unexpected call with bad news . • Users layer apps, but the fallback is still the humble SMS. Ignore it and you abandon the only truly universal path to every pocket. Telecom Industry priorities say something else • Marketing shouts “speed” because it’s easy to measure; T-Mobile’s median 5 G download hit 281 Mbps in late 2024 . • Meanwhile, half-a-million square miles of U.S. landscape remain outside tower reach , and the FCC counts millions still off the 5 G grid at practical speeds . The traffic-jam analogy Cars went from 4 hp cars to 700 hp super-SUVs, yet rush-hour New York crawls at 13 mph downtown . Average US driver speed is still about 35 mph. Mobile networks show the same paradox: headline velocity rockets while everyday movement stalls where signals fade. What this means Coverage is the untapped KPI. Fill dead zones before the next “G.” Text remains the trust layer. Build services that respect asynchronous, low-friction habits. Speed sells headlines; reliability keeps customers. Operators who balance both will own the retention curve. P.S. Next: how direct-to-cell satellites and micro-cells could close the last black spots—and what that unlocks for startups. Follow for the coverage story. #MobileStrategy #5G #SMS #CustomerExperience #Telecom
