You put into words something the article was reaching for: this is not about AI as a concept. It is about what AI does to the drag. The institutional drag, the workflow drag, the gap between what executives think is happening in their facilities and what is actually happening. That gap has existed in FM for decades, and it has been accepted as normal. AI is the first tool that hits it directly enough to close it.
Your framing — reducing noise, increasing clarity, bringing FM closer to the people it serves — is exactly the operating model the industry needs to move toward. Not chasing hype. Building clarity.
I also think you have named the real talent story: it is not about replacing people. It is about removing the drag that keeps talented FM professionals from leading. That is a message worth repeating until the industry hears it.
