With polished headshots, comedy sketches, and even buzz from talent agencies, Tilly blurs the line between performance and programming. But here’s what makes Tilly interesting: she’s not here to replace actors—at least, that’s not how her creators see it. They describe her as a digital art project, a new way to experiment with storytelling and character creation using technology. AI in entertainment is a growing space. From writing assistance to digital doubles, it's opening new doors for collaboration and imagination. Tilly is just one example of what’s possible when craft and code meet on a creative stage. And yes, it raises big questions—about authorship, originality, and how we value human experiences. But it could also push us to define what makes a performance meaningful in the first place. Another smart innovation from the DataChef team 👏 As a native English speaker, I often forget how biased many modern AI tools (especially LLMs) still are toward English. This new tool makes that visible in a really tangible way: you can ask similar questions to two LLMs, compare their answers side by side, and rate the responses. Crowdsourcing feedback like this helps create much-needed transparency around #LLM support and performance for the #Dutch language. Well done, Ashkan Roshanayi and team! I recently had the chance to be interviewed by Friso van de Stadt for his Substack piece “The Founding Designer”, reflecting on what it really means to be a Founding Product Designer. For me, this role has never been just about designing interfaces. It’s about stepping into ambiguity early, shaping product strategy alongside founders, building the design foundations from zero, and constantly balancing user value with business reality. The best advice I’ve ever received: Start with what you have. It came from one of the best photographers in the Netherlands. He told me how, when digital photography started gaining popularity, he didn’t have the latest camera. So he took his mother’s old film camera, scanned the photos on a home scanner and voilà, he had “digital” pictures. That scrappy start eventually led to a thriving career. You don’t always need to spend a lot of money or wait for “perfect conditions” to start. Want to study? There are free courses, public datasets, YouTube lectures, and old textbooks. Start there. Looking for a job? Ask your network, many roles never get posted publicly and are filled through referrals. Want to work out? My current “gym” is my living room, my “weights” are my baby, and my trainer is a mix of free online resources and old workout programs. This advice works for almost any area of life: use what’s already in your hands, and begin now.

As a hobby I make 80's synth music style electronic music in a group called Blastromen, and we put a lot of effort for our live shows. We have DIY low resolution LED panels for videos, images and color effects that are controlled live by Teensy microchips. To make the video creation process easier, I have made a custom web-based video editing app (heavily helped by AI) to power our LED panel visuals for shows! Features include: - A timeline editor - Trim & cut tools for quick edits - Color correction - And most importantly… live preview streaming directly in format to our LED panels! This means we can now edit, preview, and stream videos straight to the stage in real-time and convert them into .bin format compatible with our Teensy microchip setup. Demo: https://lnkd.in/dMugbNiV

🍁 CPPS - End of Day One Update! What a day… after a full 8-hour deep dive into Copilot Studio, I’m equal parts exhausted and inspired! This afternoon really shifted things from basic building -> scaling solutions. We covered; 🧩 Topics (Conversation Control) Moving from free-flowing AI to structured, rule-based conversations - giving full control over how and when agents respond (especially critical for things like HR, legal, and policy-driven scenarios). 🖥️ Computer Use Agents (CUA) Super powerful concept - agents that can interact with real apps and websites using a virtual mouse & keyboard. Think RPA… but smarter. 🗣️ Prompt Tools Designing reusable prompts to guide the responses (e.g. handling customer complaints). 🤖 Autonomous Agents This is where it gets wild - agents that can reason, act, and orchestrate tasks independently, even making decisions based on external context like weather conditions. 🧠 Multi-Agent Solutions Don’t build one “super agent” - build teams of specialised agents that can work together. Now onto the best part of the evening - networking with some brilliant people, swapping ideas, and hearing what everyone else has been building. Also… small highlight: all the demo tenants were Star Wars themed, which was awesome! "Hiring top teams without structure is like building code without an architecture." That was my core takeaway from our DoubleDutch scale-up story. I learned fast: - Explicit role definition matters: Before plugging someone in, map what they own and what remains untouched. That clarity prevented the easy button trap. - Trust is engineered, not assumed: Matt came from our intern ranks, he already knew the founding rhythm. That preexisting trust made him effective from day one. - Quadrant structures accelerate onboarding: I referenced a simple principal + leadership + org + strategy framework. It built shared visibility and reduced friction. - Technical precision in strategic decisions: Whether modeling the next office, M&A readiness, or pricing analysis those cross functional junctures reveal gaps. That's where meaningful impact happens. Scale isn't just about moving fast, it's about ensuring every function runs on the same blueprint.
