Sumant Mandal reposted thisSumant Mandal reposted thisMarch Capital's Sumant Mandal just joined Nile's Founder & CEO, Pankaj Patel, for an exclusive deep dive into the world of AI-powered networking. Nile is revolutionizing the industry with its secure, intelligent networking solutions that can deploy in minutes rather than months—transforming how businesses approach their networking needs. Nile emerged from stealth in September 2022 with a vision to deliver a completely new wired and wireless network experience delivered entirely as a service. Achieving this vision necessitated a complete reengineering of the enterprise network, removing decades of costly complexity and creating a solution that could deliver greater security, reliability, and performance. Nile’s approach has received support from Gartner and IDC as being the first true NaaS that will fundamentally change how connectivity is experienced. #AI #Networking #TechInnovation #Nile #BusinessTransformation #SecureNetworking #IntelligentSolutions #FutureOfTech

Sumant Mandal liked thisSumant Mandal liked thisReflecting on a recent fireside conversation with Gajen Kandiah at The Montgomery Summit, moderated by Sumant Mandal, where we explored the next phase of #BusinessAI and how the Uniphore and Rackspace Technology partnership is helping customers accelerate adoption. One topic we discussed is increasingly shaping customer conversations: as foundation models become commoditized, the competitive edge shifts to: • Data ownership and control • How effectively models are fine-tuned • The ability to operationalize AI within enterprise constraints This is where the conversation around sovereign AI becomes critical. What started as a data governance question has now evolved into a broader strategic priority shaped by geopolitics. Enterprises are asking “Who controls our data? Where is it hosted? What happens if access is restricted?” The answer is driving demand for architectures that enable: • Localized deployment (on-prem or private cloud) • Full control over data and models • Flexibility to switch between models without impacting performance or cost We’re seeing this shift accelerate globally. Sovereignty, portability, and control are core to how enterprises think about scaling AI.

Sumant Mandal liked thisSumant Mandal liked thisAlways a pleasure to speak with my friend & FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam, this time at the 2026 edition of The Montgomery Summit. FedEx has consistently been an early adopter during tech transitions, and this remains true with AI. In our fireside chat, we talked about how he and his team are harnessing AI, including how the technology is being deployed globally across logistics, supply chain operations, and the customer experience. I want to call out a quote from Raj that every leader should take away: “If you don’t like change, you will hate extinction.” I get it, change makes people uncomfortable. Sumant Mandal liked thisSumant Mandal liked thisBack from The Montgomery Summit, a yearly ritual at this point. It’s one of those rare events where you reconnect with people you’ve known for years, while also meeting the next generation of founders and investors building what’s next. The density of conversations both on and off stage is hard to replicate. A highlight this year was the conversation between Michael Milken and Jamie Montgomery on the evolution of the American Dream — thoughtful, nuanced, and a reminder to zoom out and think in decades, not quarters. If there was one common thread, it’s that AI, energy, and capital are becoming deeply interconnected — and where capital concentration, infrastructure constraints, and new liquidity dynamics will define outcomes just as much as technology itself. Across conversations with Vipul Ved Prakash, Pete Shadbolt, Carmen Palacios-Berraquero, Steve Westly, Geoffrey von Maltzahn, Peter Chung, Scott Sandell, Brian Borton, CFA, Justine Huang Burns, Ankit Sud, Michelle Gonzalez and others, a few themes stood out: AI infrastructure is the real battleground — not just models, but access to compute and efficient deployment will define the next wave of winners Energy is inseparable from AI — the scale of demand from data centers is creating massive opportunities across energy, climate, and infrastructure AI is a geopolitical priority — policy, capital, and talent are increasingly aligned around long-term national competitiveness Quantum is getting real — moving from research to early signs of commercial impact faster than many expected Private capital is concentrating — disproportionate flows into AI category leaders are reshaping the market Liquidity is evolving — secondaries and continuation vehicles are no longer edge cases, but core tools for GPs and LPs Grateful for the conversations, the perspectives, and the people who make this ecosystem so vibrant.

Watch the full session here: https://lnkd.in/g95b6DEjSumant Mandal liked thisLarge organizations are solar systems in their own right – and KPMG’s secret sauce is our ability to understand their needs and leverage our process expertise and industry depth to meet them where they are. 🪐 It was great to join JC2 Ventures' John Chambers and Uniphore CEO Umesh Sachdev at The Montgomery Summit to discuss how AI is reshaping the enterprise. I shared how KPMG is innovating our services and AI native products to help clients meet that moment. Collaborating with companies like Uniphore as part of our tech ecosystem enables us to move even faster as we help clients reimagine processes end-to-end and move from experimentation to true architectural change. Sumant Mandal liked thisSumant Mandal liked thisAs enterprises accelerate toward an AI-powered future, KPMG is undertaking a bold reinvention of its core functions and client services. At #MontySummit, Atif Zaim of KPMG US and Umesh Sachdev of Uniphore shared how their partnership is enabling this shift, from modernizing procurement and finance to building AI agents on Uniphore’s Business AI Cloud. With enterprise AI investment at record highs, the conversation also addressed a central question facing business leaders: how to translate rising spend into measurable results and tangible business outcomes. I’ve known David Meister for years and backed him at Sydecar, so I’ve seen his ability to build through complexity. Axiom Trust is taking on one of the most outdated parts of wealth infrastructure, trust administration, by pairing a regulated trust company with AI-native workflows. We're proud to invest again and congrats to the team on the launch!

From our PearX S25 cohort, meet Pravāh, the AI-native operating system for the electric grid When Mohak Mangal, Dhruv Suri, and Aman Gupta looked at the strain on the U.S. electric grid, they saw a system pushed to its limits. Exploding demand and unpredictable supply have made blackouts increasingly common. This costs the economy more than $150B a year, a number that could 10x in the next five years. Mohak Mangal and team founded Pravāh to help fix it. Their platform helps utilities and grid operators make real-time decisions on load, generation, and congestion, reducing blackout risks, optimizing power procurement, and bringing much-needed stability to the backbone of modern life. We’re proud to support the Pravāh team as they take on one of the toughest and most important infrastructure challenges of our time.

Numeric is transforming the role of the modern finance professional, from a passenger who observes the business to a driver who engineers business outcomes. Super excited to share that IVP is leading the company’s Series B; deepening our partnership as Numeric expands from close management into a connected finance platform — unifying close, analytics, and now cash management. Their new cash management product tackles one of the most painful workflows in accounting. Where legacy tools automate less than 30% of transactions, Numeric achieves 90%+, saving teams days of manual work every month. As a former CFO, I’ve felt the pain of disconnected systems and manual reconciliations firsthand. Numeric is redefining what modern finance looks like: connected, intelligent, and built for real-time decision-making. We’re backing Parker Gilbert and his team as they bring clarity and connection to the heart of finance. More from Ryan Lawler at Axios: https://lnkd.in/gARRsj24

I'm thrilled to be speaking tomorrow on two panels at the LPGP Connect conference tomorrow in London and look forward to connecting with those attending. I am especially excited to talk about DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) and cybersecurity. A continued area of interest to me is the focus of fostering a resilient mindset, treating digital risk as a strategic priority, which is the design of DORA. That requires that cybersecurity becomes embedded in business continuity planning, enterprise risk management, vendor and supply chain strategy and more. Looking forward to a lively discussion and representing the focus of our fund at GALLOS Technologies. #cybersecurity #resiience #dora #digitalresilience #infrastructure #ICT

great to be back on CNBC Squawk Box, this time with Stephen Sedgwick and Ben Boulos diving in to AI(!) and early stage investments – takeaways: < teams can be smaller than ever before and achieve way more < if you start building today – you are already too late for the obvious AI applications (AI for generating code, AI for a full profession like lawyers, etc) – you have to start in a harder/deeper problem < however – AI adoption for said ‘obvious’ tools is still low versus where they will be, they will continue growing like crazily in the coming 12 months < it has never been easier to build – so competition has never been more fierce < the 996 trend is here to stay in the western world for those who want to get ahead < my last name is really hard to pronounce back to building 🌋
