Israel (Srulik) Dvorsky liked thisIsrael (Srulik) Dvorsky liked thisI'm proud to support my incredible colleague Christine Davis as she walks in Blood Cancer United's Light The Night — carrying a lantern for a dear friend facing blood cancer. That's what this event is about. Real people. Real stakes. Real hope. Light The Night brings together thousands of survivors, caregivers, and supporters each fall — carrying illuminated lanterns through the night to show those fighting that they are not alone. And the research it funds is changing outcomes not just for blood cancer patients, but for all of us. Here's why this work is critical across all of oncology: - Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) has invested nearly $1.8 billion in research since 1949 - Breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics, and precision medicine — pioneered through blood cancer research — are now being tested in clinical trials for other cancers - Survival rates for many blood cancers have doubled, tripled, and even quadrupled since the early 1960s Their bold goal: to enable blood cancer patients to gain more than one million years of life by 2040 As someone who works in oncology every day, I believe deeply in the power of research to transform lives. The science born from blood cancer has reshaped how we treat cancer across the board — and every dollar raised moves us closer to the cures we need. Please consider supporting Christine and honoring the friend she's walking for. 💛 https://lnkd.in/gqwShh5r #LightTheNight #BloodCancerUnited #CancerResearch #Oncology #CommunityOncology

We were honored to host Prof. Noam Yarom and his team from the Oral Medicine Unit at Sheba Medical Center for a departmental retreat to explore the critical intersection of oral oncology and precision radiotherapy—an area where innovation in proton therapy can directly impact patient outcomes. Oral complications such as osteoradionecrosis (ORN), xerostomia, and soft tissue necrosis remain major challenges in the treatment of head and neck cancers. These complications are often exacerbated by conventional photon therapy due to unavoidable exposure of healthy oral and maxillofacial structures to radiation. This is precisely where proton therapy offers clinical advantages. With the ability to limit radiation to surrounding tissues thanks to the Bragg peak, proton therapy provides a more targeted approach—potentially reducing both acute and late toxicities in the oral cavity. The P-Cure system, developed in Israel, further advances this potential by enabling treatments in both upright and supine positions and by supporting a compact, flexible system suitable for comprehensive oncology programs. As you may know, Prof. Yarom’s leadership in this field is widely recognized, including his co-authorship of the 2024 ASCO guidelines on ORN prevention and management, which highlight the importance of interprofessional care in minimizing radiation-related complications. Special thanks as well to Dr. Jon Feldman of Hadassah Medical Center, who presented Hadassah’s clinical strategy and treatment capabilities with proton therapy. Under the guidance of Prof. Popovtzer, the Hadassah team is applying P-Cure’s system to real-world clinical needs, integrating it into head and neck oncology workflows with a focus on improving long-term outcomes and quality of life. It was a privilege to facilitate this meaningful exchange of science and practice. #radiationoncology #CancerCare #protontherapy #PCure American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) AAPM Student and Trainees Subcommittee Hadassah Medical Center European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) Hadassah Medical Center Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer Aron Popovtzer Noam Yarom Jon Feldman Philip Blumenfeld Marcel Fang Yair Hillman Yair Heiss Udi Oren Neri Naveh Rivka Shlomai Ori Lubin

Medtech and healthtech have epicenters of development and innovation. Israel sits in the elite class of development and innovation. Innovation and development are most definitely a part of the magic of bringing critical products and solutions to the patient and the healthcare environment that serves them. Another aspect of of success, especially in the U.S., one of the worlds largest markets, is navigating the gauntlet that comes with clinical execution, market development (especially in groundbreaking technologies), FDA interaction, and finally initial commercial launch. All of which favor deep knowledge and experience of the U.S. market. Building the right teams for maximal impact of a technology to be fulfilled requires a harmonization of the U.S. / Israel bridge. The Mullings Group has the privilege of being one of the facilitators of this harmonization for the past two decades. Ido Hadari

vopemed started as an early idea in my master’s program and grew into an AI vision technology company redefining surgical procedures. Today, I’m excited to share that story with Nectarios from Amiral Ventures. We dove into many topics: how we’re tackling image enhancement for laparoscopic procedures to navigating fundraising as a highly regulated medical device company. We also spoke about regulatory ups and downs, and where AI could take the future of surgery. This episode was a great conversation. It was a good reminder of how far we’ve come - and how much further there is to go. It was also a good reminder of why I’m leading this mission: to make a real impact in patient safety. If you’re curious about the intersection of AI and surgery, or just want to hear more about the journey of building a MedTech startup, I invite you to give it a listen: 📽️ YouTube: https://lnkd.in/e5EFbWXJ 🎤 Spotify: https://lnkd.in/eQsV88TJ Thanks so much for having me on the Flagship Podcast, Nectarios & Amiral Ventures! #AI #surgery #medtech #vision

RDG - Imaging

Why Subspecialized Radiology Matters — And How RDG Imaging Is Changing the Game in Israel In today’s fast-paced healthcare landscape, one thing remains constant: the need for accurate, thorough, and clinically relevant diagnosis. And at the center of nearly every diagnosis lies medical imaging — CTs, MRIs, ultrasounds, and more. Yet what often goes overlooked is who interprets these scans. At RDG Imaging, Israel’s first innovative and dedicated radiology service, we believe that the who makes all the difference. A New Standard in Radiology RDG was founded on a simple but powerful belief: patients deserve answers and high-quality medical care — real answers, from specialists who take the time to understand both the imaging and the patient behind it. Unlike standard imaging centers, where general radiologists often rush through dozens of cases per hour, RDG ensures that every imaging exam is interpreted by a subspecialist radiologist — an expert in the relevant organ system. A neuroradiologist for brain and spine MRI. A musculoskeletal radiologist for sports injuries. A body imaging expert for abdominal or pelvic CT. This is precision medicine, applied to radiology. Radiologists Are Not Computers While AI in radiology is advancing, it is no substitute for years of experience, clinical insight, and the nuance required to truly understand complex imaging findings in the context of a patient’s history and symptoms. Radiologists are not image processors — they are diagnostic consultants. Our subspecialist radiologists: • Review each case in depth with correlation to clinical history • Provide detailed radiology reports • Offer comprehensive explanations to patients This human-centered approach is why so many patients and doctors thank us. At RDG, radiology isn’t just about detection — it’s about direction. The right imaging interpretation can change a diagnosis, alter a treatment plan, and even save lives. Why It Matters — Now More Than Ever In an era where healthcare professionals are overwhelmed, patients can feel lost. Doctors have less time to explain results, and communication gaps are growing. That’s where we come in. At RDG, we bridge that gap with radiology that is patient-focused, clinically insightful, and meticulously thorough. Because ultimately, accurate imaging analysis leads to better outcomes. We don’t just give you a report — we give you clarity. Trust RDG Imaging If you’re a patient seeking expert imaging interpretation, or a physician looking for a trusted radiology partner, RDG is here to help.
