Atherosclerosis Plaque Automatic Identification (Undergraduate Diploma Project)
– Designed a feature and developed a system using C++ and R that automatically identifies atherosclerosis plaques in MRI images using machine learning algorithms (SVM) with high accuracy on a data set of 4000 images (accuracy increased from 67% to 81%, while medical experts had an accuracy of around 80%).
– Selected as outstanding thesis in Tsinghua University (top %5), ongoing patent application. -

– Constructed an unstructured peer-to-peer network using Java, implemented and compared various searching algorithms on networks of different sizes.
