Matt Hahn reposted thisMatt Hahn reposted thisI run Product Operations across Tricentis’s full product portfolio, and we’re #expanding the team. Tricentis is the industry’s #1 Continuous Testing platform: agile test management and advanced automation across 150+ technologies. We serve some of the largest, most complex organizations in the world. At that scale, Product has to run with clarity and repeatability across the portfolio, with planning, execution, launches, and reporting that teams actually use, not one-off heroics. That is the operating foundation we are building in Product Operations. I’m hiring a Senior Product Operations Lead on my team, whose impact will run from the basics outward: execution-ready roadmaps and launches, and tools and data that teams actually use. Cleaner handoffs with PMO, GTM, Post-Sales, CX, and Finance so revenue and customer teams stay aligned. Valuable customer insights that inform roadmap decisions, and adoption metrics that give leadership a clear view of customer and business impact. This is a role for people who: - See what needs to happen and makes it happen - Influence without authority and push for decisions when things stall - Bring strong project management as well as product launch and GTM coordination skills - Know when more process helps and when it doesn't - Are smart, hungry and motivated to learn If this sounds like you, please DM and apply here: https://lnkd.in/gG66CAG5 cc: Amy Cropper John Shaughnessy

To celebrate, I asked an AI to help me visualize what "Technical Community Architect" actually looks like. As you can see from the photos... things escalated quickly. - Image 1: Reality. Just me, excited to get to work. - Image 2: Expected: What my day to day will look like, interacting with the community, sharing, helping - Image 3: The AI thinks I’ll be conducting a digital orchestra of cloud data. - Image 4: Apparently, I’m now a protagonist in a sci-fi thriller saving the universe from unallocated cloud spend. - Image 5: I have achieved my final form: "The Universe's Most Epic Connector." (My wife is still waiting for me to connect the dishwasher to the power outlet, but one step at a time). Why I’m actually here (The non-sci-fi version) For 20 years as a QA, then Build, then Cloud, then DevOps engineer, I’ve been a "customer" of the Linux Foundation and the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Tools like Kubernetes didn't just change my workflow; they built my career. Getting to contribute back to this ecosystem at a peer level is a massive honor. What is FOCUS™? The FinOps Open Cost & Usage Specification (FOCUS) is a groundbreaking open-source project aimed at creating a unified standard for cloud billing data. In the past, every cloud provider had its own "language" for costs. FOCUS changes that, making cloud spend data consistent, manageable, and actionable across any platform. No more "lost in translation" when the bill arrives. The "Pinch-Me" Team I’m genuinely star-struck to be working alongside industry legends like J.R. Storment, Steve Trask, and Joe Daly. Their leadership defined the FinOps movement, and I’m humbled to help them scale the technical community around FOCUS. My actual day-to-day (Probably involves fewer holograms) - Bridging the Gap: Connecting technical contributors and cloud providers to evolve the spec. - Building Ecosystems: Turning the specification into a living standard with robust tooling. - Advocating for Open Standards: Fighting the good fight against proprietary data silos. To my DevOps and FinOps peers: I can’t wait to show you what we’re building. We’re making cloud data work for everyone—no glowing tactical suits required (probably). May the 4th be with you! #NewJob #FinOps #FOCUS #LinuxFoundation #OpenSource #DevOps #CloudFinancialManagement #AIGoneWild

As we've grown, bringing everyone together in person has become even more meaningful. A full week of learning, collaborating, customer sessions, product discussions, and time together as a team was incredibly energizing. Also a huge thank you to Caleb Mills from Mission, a CDW Company and Tom Eliaz from Bedrock Robotics for spending time with us and sharing their perspective as new Vantage customers. Every onsite for the the last 5 years we've had customers come and share their perspectives for the entire team to hear live. Very proud of this group and excited for what's ahead!

Tech Hiring Snapshot DFW 2025: Cybersecurity roles in DFW have grown 12% over the past year. But here’s the catch… the average time to fill is now 58 days. For hiring managers, that 2-month gap can mean: -Lost productivity -Burnout on existing team members -Risk of project delays (especially in security & compliance work) 💡 Tip: The most successful teams I work with don’t wait until the role is open to start recruiting. They keep a warm bench of pre-vetted candidates so when a role opens, they’re ready to move. If your team can’t afford a 2-month delay on critical hires, we should talk. My network is packed with cleared, certified, and ready-to-move tech talent in DFW. #TechHiring #CyberSecurity #DFWTech #StaffingSolutions #HiringTrends #TIG #TheIntersectGroup #TechStaffing

Midlothian is about to shift in a way that feels almost predictable if you have been paying attention to what North Texas has become. Google is building a new data center right down the road from me. Southern Dallas is home, so this really is my backyard. Anyone who grew up in this region knows the feeling of watching an area transform before the rest of the country catches on. We’ve seen it with universities pushing toward R1 status. We saw it when Fortune 500 companies started moving south. We saw it as hospitals expanded their medical districts and financial institutions planted roots here. This moment was coming. A project like this creates opportunity. A data center will open doors for students studying AI, cybersecurity, or cloud technologies. It will create stable roles in hardware support, networking, facilities operations, and AI driven infrastructure. Adults who are reskilling through certificate programs can gain access to strong pathways if they receive clear guidance about where the jobs are headed. Projects like this also carry a different weight. Data centers require large amounts of water and significant electricity to cool the systems behind AI. That demand shapes how communities experience growth, utility strains, traffic flow, and long term development. Memphis is living that tension in real time with Colossus. Midlothian is positioned the same way. The site sits outside Dallas, yet the impact will move through Ellis County, Dallas County, and every community connected by our shared infrastructure. People deserve clarity without needing a tech degree. Residents should feel confident asking about water usage, renewable energy plans, environmental protections, hiring pipelines, and community benefits tied to long term growth. These questions belong in city council meetings and planning discussions because they influence the future of our neighborhoods. North Texas is entering a decade where AI will shape everything from job markets to civic planning. My goal is to help people understand what is happening so they can navigate this shift with confidence. I will keep trying to break these updates down in a way that reflects everyday life in this part of Texas. #ArtificialIntelligence #AIGovernance #TexasTech #NorthTexas #FutureOfWork #CloudComputing #ResponsibleAI #TechNews #CommunityImpact #Leadership

🤠 W𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 🚀 After hearing J J Gottsch, CEO of the Austin Gamblers, present at the ACG Austin/San Antonio luncheon… I knew I had to see it live. So last Sunday I went to the Professional Bull Riding event. 🎟️ And let me tell you — it’s not just bull riding. It’s a concert-meets-sport spectacle with lights, sound, energy, and a seriously tech-driven experience. Here’s what struck me 👇 3 lessons bull riding applies directly to business ops + tech enablement: 1️⃣ 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘀 🛠️ — You see the excitement in the arena, but it only works because every process (from rider safety to show production) is tightly integrated. The same goes for companies: without solid internal systems, the “show” falls apart. 2️⃣ 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ⚡ — From fan apps to live analytics, the Gamblers use tech to deepen audience connection. In business, your tools should do the same — making customer experience AND employee experience stronger. 3️⃣ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 📊 — Riders may only be on the bull for 8 seconds, but months of training, data, and planning go into those moments. That’s exactly how internal workflows should run: preparation + process = performance. What hit me is that every great performance (on the dirt or in the market) relies on invisible systems working together. 👉 Curious — what’s the “bull riding moment” in your business, and do your systems support it? Shared and learned a lot from IT leaders of TX higher ed, including: 💡 AI innovation isn't always from computer science and engineering faculty. 🚀 The "Texas Miracle" isn't magic. It's bringing the right engineering and digital infrastructure leadership together. The Austin-San Antonio corridor is rapidly merging into an 8-million-person "Mega-Region." We have to remember there must be approaches that are methodical to succeed in these efforts. The "Hidden" Crisis: 📉 Data Centers are thirsty. A standard hyperscale facility can consume 3–5 million gallons of water per day for cooling. In a drought-prone state, that’s unsustainable. 📉 The Grid is maxed out. We can't build power plants fast enough to keep up with the AI boom + population influx. We don't need more of the old solutions. We need an infrastructure revolution to include future applicability of quantum as well. Solutions to bring to the table (because we all know to never bring problems without a solution to discuss): 1️⃣ Liquid Cooling: "Virtual Power Plant" ❄️ Why are we using air conditioning to cool supercomputers in 100°F heat? (Imagining swamp coolers to cool a data center 🤦♂️) • Liquid Cooling: Liquid transfers heat 1,000x more efficiently than air. • The Benefit: Switching data centers to Liquid Cooling cuts cooling energy by 90% and reduces water consumption to near zero. It frees up gigawatts of power for homes and factories without building a single new dam or power plant. 2️⃣ Brackish Water Desalination: The Underground Ocean 💧 Everyone talks about ocean desalination. (Oceanside, CA began working it and it became very expensive) A more thoughtful approach is under the ground. • The Unlock: We sit on vast "brackish" aquifers (salty inland water). • The Benefit: It’s cheaper than seawater desalination and drought-proof. San Antonio is already proving this works. It turns a useless resource into an endless supply. 3️⃣ Aquifer Storage (ASR): 🏦 Stop letting our water evaporate in open lakes. Open air aquifers lose the viable water we need. • Key: Store excess water underground during floods. • Benefit: A secure savings account for our next drought. The ROI on "Smart Infrastructure" must be handled correctly and not lead us to "catching up". ✅ Economic Velocity: We keep attracting top-tier tech/manufacturing because our grid is stable but we must adapt to the future environment now to keep that momentum. ✅ Quality of Life: We protect our drinking water and rivers for people, not just processors. ✅ Resilience: We stop reacting to emergencies and start engineering our future. We have great leaders such as Henry Cisneros and Bob Rivard discuss more about these endeavors. A topic for future discussion is the use of Quantum Computing and power preservation 🤔 Kirk Watson San Antonio Water System CPS Energy Austin Water City of New Braunfels, TX https://lnkd.in/gYvSgWyB #Infrastructure #boozallen #Texas #Innovation #LiquidCooling #Desalination #WaterSecurity #MegaRegion #Austin #SanAntonio #FutureReady
