Melissa Hobley shared thisI wish we had MORE conversations about "inclusive growth" in corporate America. Safety isn't just a "feature" at Tinder—it’s the ultimate unlock for connection. ⚡️ I’m incredibly proud to see our work featured (just featured in Forbes), discussing how we are pioneering safety tech to drive inclusive growth. While I’m honored to be quoted, the real credit goes to our product and safety teams who work tirelessly to ensure that our platform isn't just a place to meet, but a place to belong. (Shout out Mark Kantor Alex Osborne and Yoel Roth) In many parts of the world, Tinder is one of the few safe havens where the LGBTQIA+ community can find each other. We take that responsibility seriously, and the impact of our safety-first mission is showing up in the numbers: Global Inclusivity: We’ve expanded to over 50+ gender identities and 9 orientations, ensuring every member can show up as their authentic self. The Traveler Alert: This remains one of our most critical innovations—automatically alerting LGBTQIA+ members when they enter one of the 60+ countries where same-sex relationships are still criminalized. Safety as Growth: By prioritizing the most vulnerable members of our community, we’ve seen that we actually build a better, more trusted experience for everyone. At the end of the day, our goal is to move the world forward, one connection at a time. We still have a long way to go, but I’m so proud of the strides this team is taking to make the "Magic of Tinder" accessible and safe for all. Melissa Hobley shared thisThis week we hosted Tinder Sparks 2026: Start Something New in Los Angeles - our inaugural product keynote where we unveiled the next chapter of Tinder. And I was SO PROUD to be on the stage and share our cultural impact around the world For more than a decade, Tinder has helped shape how people meet. Today we shared how we’re evolving the experience, introducing new ways to spark connections through product innovation, AI-powered matching, and continued investments in trust and safety. Some of the exciting announcements we made this week: - New & redesigned Modes: including new Music Mode and a brand new Astrology Mode, helping people connect through shared interests and vibes. (both JUST LAUNCHED in the US) - New ways to meet in real time: from upcoming video speed dating to a new Events pilot helping people connect IRL in Los Angeles. - Smarter AI-powered experiences: including Chemistry recommendations, Learning Mode, and new tools to help users showcase their personality. - Stronger trust & safety infrastructure: with expanded Face Check and upgraded AI-powered features like “Are You Sure?” and “Does This Bother You?” to encourage more respectful interactions. Over the past year we’ve seen how new formats can reshape how people use Tinder, with launches like Double Date, which is quickly becoming a favorite among Gen Z users. Tinder today is more social, more expressive, more intelligent, and more trusted than it was a year ago. Congrats to our fearless leader Spencer Rascoff for ushering us into this NEW ERA. and thanks Mark Kantor, Hillary Paine, Claire W., and Yoel Roth for doing such a great job in the keynote. It gave me a deep understanding of what it really takes to build and scale successful brands, and what goes into a strong agency. The cherry on top was working alongside such a talented and fun team. Thank you to Joe Yakuel, Blake Prentice, the entire WITHIN team, and all of the amazing partners I had the opportunity to work with along the way. The relationships and experiences have truly shaped me. Melissa Hobley liked thisMelissa Hobley liked thisWe just shared Pinterest's Q1 2026 earnings, and here’s the headline: more than $1 billion in Q1 revenue, up 18% year over year, with a record 631 million monthly active users, our tenth quarter of double-digit user growth. It’s worth noting how that growth is translating into real, measurable performance for advertisers: 📌 Roughly 30% of lower-funnel revenue now runs through Performance+ campaigns. 📌 Ad impressions grew 24%. 📌 Advertisers using Pinterest Performance+ campaigns continue to see higher ROAS and improvements in CPA and CPC. For example, Mejuri delivered a 46% increase in ROAS and a 62% increase in conversions. 📌 Measurement is leveling up, too. We continue to meet our advertisers where they are, continuing to pilot integrations with their sources of truth. 📌 We debuted tvScientific by Pinterest, the first time our advertisers can reach our high intent audiences off platform. People search Pinterest more than 80 billion times a month, and about half of those searches are commercial. That's an enormous amount of intent, and we're focused on giving advertisers better tools to meet it. Grateful to our partners and to the Pinterest team for a solid start to the year.

After reading five articles on the Omnicom–IPG restructuring, I still can’t keep the new, overlapping Omni-clature straight. But the agencies that were sunset or merged? Those names I remember. They mattered in a way that a corporate "Branded House" naming architecture never will.

Babak, your comments in Joao-Pierre Ruth InformationWeek piece from Davos, and your BBC News interview this morning, really struck a chord. That article made a strong point that AI was front and centre for business leaders at Davos, while still feeling more peripheral for many politicians. The commercial world clearly sees where this is heading, but the reality on the ground is moving far more slowly. The Wall Street Journal recently noted that AI adoption across companies is still “slow and uneven,” with most organisations stuck in pilot mode rather than real, scaled deployment. Lots of noise. Plenty of decks. Not nearly as much real impact in the day-to-day customer journey. That idea that the future of AI isn’t one giant assistant, but lots of specialised agents working together behind the scenes, feels exactly where things are heading. The retail leaders and agency teams I’m speaking to aren’t asking if they should use AI anymore. They’re asking where it improves service, conversion, and customer confidence right now, especially across the direct-to-consumer journey, and who ultimately owns the first-party data coming out of it. Working from London with the Silicon Valley-based team Mind Over Media , I’m seeing real traction from practical, brand-owned agents that sit inside the customer journey, remove friction at the exact moment it matters, and keep the relationship and the data with the brand. As founders Andy Anderson and Jamie Parker put it: “As commerce moves toward agents and agent-to-agent interactions, every brand will need its own intelligence representing it. We build for the brand, not the channel, so that brain sits with the company, and they keep ownership of the customer relationship, the data, and the commercial outcome.” And this isn’t about replacing people. It’s about giving teams better tools that actually work in the real world. As someone who’s dyslexic thinker, AI has genuinely transformed my day-to-day working life. As Sir Richard Branson often says, it can be a powerful co-pilot, but human creativity still matters most. That balance between human judgement and agent-driven systems feels like the real direction of travel. Much of the work around Mind Over Media AI sits right in the middle of this shift. Let me know what you think? #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #GenerativeAI #AgenticAI #Davos #CustomerExperience #DirectToConsumer #FirstPartyData #DigitalTransformation #Retail #Ecommerce #MarketingTechnology #FutureOfWork

If anyone is looking for an independent report and analysis on what's ahead in 2026 for the hottest business sectors, look no further than the latest annual report from Activate Consulting. This year's report highlights key trends across the industry, including: Massive Growth in Tech and Media: The global internet, media, and B2B technology sectors are forecast to see $1.3T in incremental revenue over the next four years, with B2B tech and software alone growing by $907B to become a $3.9T market. The 32-Hour Day and the "Attention" War: Multitasking has created a 32-hour, 17-minute day, where consumers spend over 13 hours on media, blurring industry lines. Social is now 71% video, retail media is a $100B+ business, and gaming is a social hub, forcing companies to expand into new territories to capture fractured attention. AI Is Rewriting the Rules: With adoption now at over 60% of US adults, Generative AI (GenAI) is the single biggest driver of change, monetization, and investment. It is fundamentally altering online search, with 72 million U.S. adults expected to use a GenAI platform as their first stop by 2029. The "Super User" Demands a New Strategy: A highly engaged 28% of the population disproportionately drives media consumption, tech adoption, and 59% of e-commerce spend. As high-value brand advocates who are 87% comfortable sharing data and willing to pay for premium experiences, they require a dedicated strategy. The Post-Smartphone Future: Major tech companies are investing in spatial computing as the next platform shift. The goal is to merge VR/MR's spatial power into AI glasses, unlocking new behaviors and monetization models on par with the smartphone's arrival. Gaming Becomes Universal: By 2029, virtually all online adults will be gamers, driving the global gamer population to 3.7B. This massive, universal audience will fuel a $214B global market, with mobile remaining the largest and fastest-growing segment. New Digital Markets Are Surging: The legalization of sports betting is creating a massive new market, with the total amount wagered in the U.S. projected to reach $215B annually by 2029 as it becomes legal in an expected 48 states.

Still buzzing from this morning’s Creator Rooftop session at Cannes Lions! Thank you to everyone who joined us—and to my powerhouse co-panelists Val DiFebo and Diana Hong-Elsey—for helping unpack the future of creator-led innovation. The truth is: creators aren’t just making content—they’re shaping culture, strategy, and business outcomes. And if brands want to survive in this attention economy, they need creators at the core, not the edges. I broke it all down in the Creator Darwinism Field Guide—a no-fluff resource I wrote to help creators (and the people who hire them) navigate the shift from content to command. 📥 Download it here and hit the ground running: https://lnkd.in/etaN_U6C Let’s build something better—together. #CreatorDarwinism #CannesLions2025 #SociStudio #DNY #CreatorEconomy #FieldGuide #CannesLions #CreativeLeadership

Creating content that performs is hard. Creating content that connects is even harder. Today’s consumers are seeking more than just entertainment—they’re looking for relevance, values, and trust. In my latest piece for Forbes, I break down three shifts marketers need to make to stay competitive (and credible) in today’s content economy: 📣 Move beyond product-first messaging 🔐 Design for privacy-first performance 🧠 Use AI as a co-creator, not a crutch If you’re rethinking your content strategy for the second half of the year, this is for you 👇 https://lnkd.in/gVTJKVqd #ContentMarketing #BrandStorytelling #PrivacyFirstMarketing
