Michael Janiak shared thisNew week. New set of killer results from our client Paige coming directly from a newly refreshed Shopify case study. Premium retail at scale. You love to see it. Check the numbers out below and hit the link in the comments for the full case study (definitely worth a read)Michael Janiak shared thisWith a 50% increase in online conversion rates, PAIGE proves what happens when premium retail experiences meet the right commerce foundation 🚀 We’re proud to have partnered with the PAIGE team to help reimagine their digital flagship on Shopify and unify commerce across 20+ retail locations. Together, we helped create an experience designed to scale globally while staying true to the brand’s elevated, fashion-first identity. The impact speaks for itself: - 44% higher customer value from omnichannel shoppers vs. single-channel shoppers - 60% reduction in customer service resolution time in the first quarter alone - 100% adoption of clienteling tools by store teams - 69% email open rates and 24% higher AOV - 30% of support tickets resolved by an AI customer service agent This project was about more than migration. It was about helping PAIGE evolve from a denim leader into a true lifestyle brand. Read the full Shopify case study here: https://lnkd.in/g4p9SBSr

Michael Janiak shared thisThis one was a blast. The brief from the team at Mike's Amazing Foods was super clear: our headless setup is too complex, migrate us to Shopify, and make the site amazing. They knew what they needed and trusted us to deliver it. What we launched is one of the most fun sites we've built: bold and fast with a nice dose of swagger. When you see the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Devils, and Rangers logos scrolling across the homepage before a single product appears you get it immediately. This is a family-owned brand that's been growing under the radar and showing up at your favorite places, and now they're ready to scale it authentically. An iconic brand in the making. Proud of this one.Michael Janiak shared thisA new digital home for one of the fastest-growing condiment brands in retail. Introducing the all-new Mike's Amazing, now on Shopify. After struggling with an overly complex headless CMS implementation, the team at Mike's gave us a really clear directive: migrate us to Shopify, redesign & rebuild our site and make it amazing. So we did. Key highlights: ⚡️ Rich interactive motion & expressive visual navigation 🚀 Content-driven product discovery 🎟️ Advanced metafields system for events, recipes & rich media 🔁 Flexible & extensible design system 🌐 Seamless omnichannel integrations for in-store discovery Bold and fun with a nice dose of attitude, the site immediately communicates that this brand is playing at a level that surprises people. Which is exactly the point. Check out the brand new case study → https://lnkd.in/g_sb_WPy

Michael Janiak reacted on thisMichael Janiak reacted on thisWe turned a founder's photoshoot into an infinite brand system. Here's how. 10kR recently helped launch Aurushi. An adaptive apparel brand designed by and for the adaptive community. The founder, Gabriel Cardier has an inspiring story. He lost his leg in a motorcycle accident, from the low of losing a limb totally transformed his life, became an influential member of the adaptive community, and went on to create a clothing line that offers fellow amputees access to their prosthetics in ways that were severely lacking. He knew he was onto something special, but was unsure what to do with the brand and content. He'd done a photoshoot and had a small bank of assets (mostly with himself modeling). Nice images, but they were missing something that we saw as being absolutely critical... In our very first meeting, Craig told Gabe: Aurushi isn't just your story. It's a story intimately shared by everyone who's experienced what you have. The thing that's missing is community. Diversity. Aurushi needs to be a shared story. Our workflow created: +100 images generated from his original shoot, featuring diverse models + locations. +50 videos to feature across channels, including a 60sec manifesto. A custom Aurushi content editor built with Claude designed to produce infinite on-brand video variants. Congrats on the launch, Gabriel Cardier! We're so proud to be a part of the Aurushi story.

Michael Janiak liked thisI am so proud of our partnership with Kia America. The leadership, design, and marketing teams are world-class, and I feel fortunate to have a front-row seat to witnessing this consistent growth. Congratulations, and let’s keep going!Michael Janiak liked thisKia America continues to deliver steady growth in a highly competitive and evolving market. Through April, we achieved our best-ever year-to-date sales performance with 279,718 units sold, up 2% year-over-year. This momentum is being driven by strong demand across our core segments, particularly SUVs, as well as continued growth in our hybrid and electrified models. Telluride, Carnival, Sportage and K4 all posted best-ever April year-to-date results, reflecting the strength and balance of our product lineup. At the same time, our hybrid and electrified vehicles continue to gain traction, with hybrid sales up 97% and total electrified sales up 71% in April, both setting new April records. Michael Janiak liked thisMichael Janiak liked thisAfter five and a half years at Monks, it feels like the right time to close an important chapter. Working alongside some of the most talented people in the industry has been a truly rewarding experience. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to grow not only as a designer, but also as a collaborator, learning from incredible teams and contributing to work I’m genuinely proud of. What I’ll take with me most are the people. The conversations, the challenges, the late nights, the shared wins, but also the failures and everything learned from them. All of it has made this journey special and left me with memories I’ll carry forward. Now it feels like the right moment to look for new challenges, recharge, and explore what’s next. I’m excited to be stepping into the next phase of my career, going full-time freelance and trying new things. I won’t lie, in an industry that doesn’t feel as strong as it once did, it’s a bit scary. But sometimes those moments are exactly when you need to take a step forward to keep growing, especially with the tools we have today to push boundaries and create meaningful work. A big thank you to everyone at Monks who made this time so meaningful, you know who you are. Andrew Verhulp Remco Vroom Matiás Jansen René Drieënhuizen Geraldine Ruffier d'Epenoux Estelle Puech Marco Quattrocchi Febles and many more :) Sharing a small teaser reel again for those who might be interested in collaborating. I’ve also added three new projects to my Figma Folio, feel free to DM me if you’d like to check it out. On to the next chapter.

Most deep tech brands lead with complexity. Quantum breakthroughs. AI models. Patents and roadmaps. But luxury brands learned long ago that the story of craft matters more than the craft itself. Taste isn’t about elitism—it’s about restraint. It’s knowing what not to show, what not to say, and when to let silence do the work. As deep technologies like AI and quantum computing move from the lab to the world, the companies that lead will be the ones who communicate with elegance, not excess. Because when everything is powerful, taste becomes the real differentiator.

There is a lot of hype around AI changing design. Generating layouts, flows, and variations is faster than ever. Iteration cycles are shorter. Exploration is cheaper. The structural work, however, remains the same. Ownership still needs to be defined. Decision rights still need to be clear. Alignment across brand, product, and engineering still requires real conversations. In many organizations, output was never the primary constraint. Clarity was. Faster execution simply makes weak operating models more visible. For design leaders, the center of gravity shifts toward defining problems well, setting constraints, and reducing decision cycles. Designers who can prototype in real code or help close decisions quickly increase their impact far beyond screens. AI changes the tools. It does not remove the need for taste, judgement, governance, or accountability. AI will not cancel that fourth review meeting. It may make you wish it could.

What happens when your brand becomes the interface? In my latest piece, I dig into how AI agents are reshaping brand experience. Not just automating interactions, but dynamically assembling conversations, content, and journeys that feel deeply personal and unmistakably on-brand. This is where identity meets intelligence. It’s not about adding a chatbot. It’s about designing a living, breathing expression of your brand that can adapt in real time. #AI #BrandIdentity #ConversationalDesign #LLM #DynamicExperience #CreativeStrategy #MarketingInnovation #DigitalBranding

Sean J. Savage adapts Stewart Brand’s “Shearing Layers” concept to AI product development, mapping out six distinct “pace layers” that evolve at different speeds. This helps corral riskier “move fast and break things” methods to the stylistic parts of your project, while ensuring a sound “measure twice; cut once” approach to critical structure.
