Bobby C. reposted thisBobby C. reposted thisIt's official: ON24 is now a part of Cvent. ON24 was purpose-built to help B2B marketers turn digital engagement into pipeline and revenue. Over the last 27 years, we’ve helped thousands of industry-leading companies do exactly that, and it’s been an incredible journey. Now, we’re taking that mission even further. Joining Cvent means: • Continued investment in (and development of) our intelligent engagement platform • More ways to connect rich first-party data across all event formats • Access to an incredible innovation engine, with AI at the forefront We’re excited for this next phase and grateful to our customers and partners who’ve trusted ON24 to power their most important digital programs. Bobby C. reposted thisBobby C. reposted thisAnyone who runs a tradeshow program knows the real challenge isn’t scanning badges……it’s getting clean, usable lead data into the hands of sales and marketing fast enough to turn interest into pipeline. Too often event leads live in a separate system, get exported to spreadsheets, then bounced around for manual cleanup and enrichment before they ever make it into your CRM or Marketing Automation system. By the time everything is stitched together the energy from the event has cooled and it’s harder to prove ROI on a very real investment in tradeshows. That’s why I’m excited about a new ZoomInfo integration inside of Cvent iCapture! From a sales rep’s point of view, it’s simple: • Take a picture of the badge in the iCapture app. • If key details are missing (business email, phone, title, company, etc.), tap to enrich the record with no need to leave the app or chase down info later. • iCapture uses core lead info to request enriched data from ZoomInfo and then pulls back verified contact and company details in seconds. • All enrichment runs through your own ZoomInfo subscription, honoring your licenses, configurations, and permissions so everything stays compliant. • Those enriched fields are stored with the lead and flow straight into your CRM and MAP based on your existing rules……no extra exports, imports, or one off workflows. The impact is felt immediately: faster, more targeted follow-up from sales and marketing, less manual work for your event teams, and better visibility into the return on the tradeshow dollars you’re already investing. For teams doubling down on tradeshows and hosted events this is a very practical way to tighten the connection between the show floor and your pipeline. Great work from Sean Brown and the iCapture Product team! If you’re curious about how customers are using iCapture + ZoomInfo together lets connect and I’m happy to compare notes.

Bobby C. reposted thisBobby C. reposted thisFresh off the train and I'm back from New York after spending some quality time with fellow Cventers and our partners at Linkedin. This is the last post in this week's OnArrival series. And it won't disappoint. Most teams think of check-in as a single step. Attendee walks up. Badge prints. Done. But think about that moment — the attendee is at your kiosk, looking at a screen, paying attention. They haven't been pulled into a session yet or distracted by the expo floor. It's one of the only moments during your entire event where you have a captive audience of one. OnArrival Check-in Messages lets you use it. You set up messages that display to attendees when they check in — at both the event level and the session level. Every message can be rules-based, targeted by registration type, session enrollment, custom fields, and Audience Segments. Different attendees see different messages based on who they are and why they're there. A hands-on workshop attendee checks in and sees a reminder to grab their lab kit before finding a seat. Your VIP sees a personalized welcome with lounge access details. An attendee who hasn't completed a required waiver gets a message that actually blocks check-in until they acknowledge it. That last one matters. Check-in messages aren't just informational — they can be gates. Compliance, safety, and communication built directly into the check-in flow — not handled by a volunteer with a clipboard. But my favorite example? Our own. At Cvent's annual company-wide event, the planning team set up a check-in message for employees who were getting promoted. When they checked in, the screen greeted them with: "Congratulations on the promotion! Grab a yellow ribbon to add to your badge after they're all announced." Before the keynote. Before any formal recognition. The very first thing they experienced at the event was being seen. That's what this feature can do when a creative planner gets their hands on it. No code. No custom development. Just rules and messages — and a little imagination. What a week — thanks for following along. If any of these features sparked ideas for your own events, I'd love to hear about it.

Bobby C. reposted thisBobby C. reposted thisOnce, twice, three times a Leader! 🎉 Ever since the inaugural Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for Event Marketing and Management Platforms was unveiled in 2024, we’ve been named a Leader – and this year, we’re taking things to new heights. 🚀 With an AI-first approach to every workflow and a deep commitment to delivering solutions marketers and planners actually need, we’re building an event-led growth platform that helps organizations turn their events into continuous sources of engagement, content, inspiration, and impact.

Bobby C. reposted thisBobby C. reposted thisYesterday we closed our acquisition of ON24, and I want to share why this matters beyond the headline. The way B2B organizations build audience and generate demand has fundamentally changed. Buyers are harder to reach, better informed, and shortlisting fewer vendors. The content treadmill — produce more, distribute more, hope for more — is producing diminishing returns. What works is what the best media brands and show organizers figured out years ago: live events are the highest-signal content source available. A single webinar with the right speakers and a real audience generates more authentic, more credible content than a month of blog posts written in isolation. But only if you capture it intentionally and distribute it systematically. That's the thesis behind everything we're building at Cvent. We call it Event-Led Growth: → Always-on content builds a loyal audience → Live events activate that audience → Those live moments generate the best content available → That content, repurposed at scale, compounds the audience for the next event ON24 has earned the trust of thousands of enterprise organizations — including some of the largest companies in financial services, life sciences, and technology — by delivering reliable, compliant, outcome-driven digital engagement at scale. That trust isn't something you build overnight, and it's not something we take lightly. We plan to continue investing in the ON24 platform, its AI capabilities, and its enterprise-grade reliability. ON24 customers can expect the same experience they trust today — now strengthened by Cvent's broader vision for how events and webinars work together to power growth. Combined with our recent acquisition of Goldcast, Cvent now offers the most comprehensive portfolio of webinar and virtual engagement solutions in the market — giving organizations the flexibility to choose the right solution for their needs while running a more connected, data-rich event strategy. This was a big day for both teams. More to come. #EventLedGrowth #Cvent #ON24

Bobby C. liked thisBobby C. liked thisI’ll spare yall from the typical reaction and post… but I have some thoughts… shocking, right? Here's the thing: The channel can be a grind. Is it a great gig? Yes! Do I love my job? Absolutely. But does it feel thankless? Often. It's not all rainbows and unicorns 🦄 Sorry. We only post the fun stuff. I'm not posting pics of me ugly crying and screaming from frustration… you can thank me later, lol. And yall, for real, if one more person tells me they want to be a Channel Manager because it looks easy, so help me God. 😤 Fun fact: It is not. A good Channel Manager makes it look easy. Reality? Lots of behind-the-scenes spreadsheets, hard conversations, certifications, getting blamed when things aren’t going well, getting yelled at for things we can't control, missing dance recitals and bathtime, partner fires, tears, justifying our existence, spending 3 days a week in a hotel, working for free, 18 hour days, navigating a million moving parts and trying to herd drunk cats. So yes, if Women of the Channel and Netskope want to award me with a little corporate glitter and this wonderful honor, I'm 100% here for it 🏆🎉 I’m beyond grateful for this recognition, it truly means a lot to me. The best part of this award? Seeing my Linkedin feed being taken over by soooo many of my friends and teammates getting recognized for being the amazing, hardworking women they have proven to be over and over again. Having a moment where we all stop and say "Hey, you're doing a great job and you make a difference" is needed and important to our mental health, and it’s easy and free. I don't know what I would do without my channel gals, seriously... yall keep me sane, make me cry from laughing, and inspire me daily! My advice: go text your Channel person and tell them you appreciate everything they do for you, and maybe don’t call their career a joke or retirement job? We would really appreciate that. Congrats to all the 2026 honorees!! 🥂Cheers to everyone who made the list this year, but also to everyone who was on the list previous years or that has never been on it, and of course our male Channel teammates. It’s no reflection of your skills, dedication or effort!! If you are a channel person who wakes up every day and works hard for your team and partners, THANK YOU!!! 🐫🐪🐫🐪 Keep grinding! 💪🏻

Bobby C. liked thisBobby C. liked thisThis feeling right here. The feeling of finally letting go at the end of the day. No notifications, no distractions, no thinking about the next thing - just being fully present, soaking up the last stretch of the day together. At MilkMate, we talk a lot about supporting working moms. But the truth is, every mom is a working mom. It’s the hardest job there is. It asks everything of you, all the time. There’s no clocking out, no off switch. The exhaustion is real. And yet, somehow, so is the joy. The silliness, the hugs, the stories - the parts of the day that make everything else go quiet for a minute. That last stretch of the day is everything. It’s the reminder of why all the hard work matters in the first place. Happy Mother’s Day to the moms doing the hardest and greatest job there is. Proud to be building MilkMate alongside a team aiming to make it all feel just a little bit lighter 🤍 #MothersDay #MilkMate

Bobby C. liked thisBobby C. liked thisIt’s been a powerful start to the week in Arizona, a state that is quickly emerging as a national leader in digital asset and emerging tech policy. Great to be on the ground meeting with Rep. Cavero, who we partnered with on a Blockchain 101 webinar, and Rep. Wilmeth, Chair of the AI Committee and a true leader in the transformational technology space. These are the kinds of forward-thinking policymakers driving real momentum. Now, with SB 1649 passing both chambers, Arizona is on the verge of establishing one of the most comprehensive state-level digital asset reserve frameworks in the country. This is a smart, strategic move that signals Arizona is open for innovation, investment, and the future of financial infrastructure. As this moves to the Governor’s desk, a strong implementation framework will be key, including: • Real-time auditability and proof of reserves to ensure transparency and trust • Thoughtful diversification of funds to manage risk and strengthen long-term resilience The opportunity now is clear: sign it into law. We’re both building, her a law firm, me a marketing agency, and there’s something about having a friend who gets it, like actually gets it, that makes the hard parts easier. She just hired a new attorney at Barber Law, PLLC. A small thing to some people. A really big deal if you know what it takes to get there. Congratulations Laura Blalock and Claire Barber. Bobby C. liked thisBobby C. liked thisI have some news. After ~3 amazing years at Remote, I've decided to move on. There is no doubt Remote has a very bright future ahead, and I'll be sad not to be part of it. At the same time, this feels like the right move for me. For the first time, I’m leaving without something else lined up. The current moment in the industry feels too consequential to rush into the next thing. At Remote, I’ve had the chance to operate as a GM across a new business unit focused on global recruiting and AI-driven search/interview tools, and more recently led Product Marketing & Customer Marketing. I've worn a ton of hats over my career - from Chief of Staff to Community leader to GM to YC founder. I've been at the center in generalist Product & GTM roles across pre-seed to pre-IPO companies through incredible stages of growth and market headwinds alike. I’ve rolled up my sleeves and closed hundreds of customers, and I’ve zoomed out and created infrastructure to scale those motions. So what now? I’ve realized that what's important to me is not level or title (or even location!) For the right team and vision, I'd go where I needed to be and do what I need to do. Finding high impact problems to work on with an amazing team is what’s #1. As I take some time to explore what's out there, I’m excited to reconnect with other passions, too: music, writing, volunteering, and hopefully just catching up with folks in my network I haven’t seen in a while. If you’re building something interesting, or just want to reconnect, I’d love to hear from you.

I wouldn’t have wanted to spend the past four years anywhere else and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned as I move into the next chapter. Reflecting on my past semester, I had the opportunity to take Customer Relationship Management, where I gained hands-on experience with CRM systems and their impact on business operations. We worked extensively with Salesforce, earning badges through Trailhead while building practical skills in prospecting, creating accounts and contacts, managing leads, and converting opportunities. I’m grateful for everything JMU has given me and look forward to applying these skills in my career!

#Hoteliers is your commission process helping you scale — or adding hidden risk? Personalization today isn’t just about the guest experience. For #eventprofs, it’s about confidence and control. Real-time visibility into budgets, commissions, and payments is becoming the foundation that makes group business easier to manage — and easier to repeat. Transparency isn’t a back-office function anymore; it’s a competitive advantage. We explore why in our latest blog. https://lnkd.in/eKqbbKq9

At the GBTA Convention 2025 Broadcast Studio, our CEO, Mat Orrego, joined Katie McGee to discuss how Cornerstone is helping the travel industry connect the dots between reservations, expenses, and the broader picture of “why” we travel. From connecting with 40+ systems to centralizing and preparing data for AI, Mat shared how technology is breaking down silos and creating real strategic value for travel programs. Key takeaways: ▪️AI’s promise is only as good as the quality and accessibility of the data feeding it. ▪️Centralizing travel, expense, and CRM data helps uncover the complete story of every trip. ▪️The industry needs to shift from focusing solely on how we travel to why we travel—and align it with strategic business goals. 💡 “When you get stuck in the how, you never get to the why.” – Mat Orrego Watch the interview here: https://lnkd.in/d9dUHx-G #GBTA2025 #TravelTechnology #AI #DataAggregation #BusinessTravelInnovation
