STEAM Bowl! STEAM Bowl turns the excitement of major sporting events into hands on science and learning experiences for kids. When global sports moments land in a city, we believe the children who live there should feel part of it too. Not just watching from the sidelines, but learning, building, exploring, and imagining what is possible. We connect sports with science, technology, engineering, art, and math using the language kids already love. From biomechanics and physics to data, design, and problem solving, STEAM Bowl makes learning feel accessible, representative, and fun. We trademarked the STEAM Bowl name to protect the vision and the integrity of the experience. But access to these moments should belong to everyone. The joy, the learning, and the opportunity are meant to be shared. Last year was phenomenal. This year is going to be even better. But Houston, we have a problem. If 2025 has done nothing else, it has tested our resolve, and this morning was no different. We were excited to onboard a new innovative tech partner that would bring even more activations to STEAM Bowl in their local community. However, due to shifting priorities around DEI, our San Francisco based presenting sponsor is no longer able to move forward. Yikes. And also, okay. We eat adversity for breakfast. This simply means alignment matters. So we are opening the door for a new community focused organization that is excited about STEM and STEAM education to step in and lead with us. You do not need to be based in San Francisco, though a national or global footprint is ideal. This is an opportunity to invest in kids, activate around a global moment happening in their city, and show up in a way that is visible, meaningful, and joyful for families. As we share a recap and photos from last year, we want to thank Andre Greenwood, MBA NIKESHA RODRIGUE and Trajan Morrissette from Aetna, a CVS Health Company for believing in this vision and sponsoring STEAM Bowl. We also had phenomenal support from Microsoft, led by Darrell Booker and Bourgogne Kinlaw, MBA , as well as the NFL Players Association in support of our license with the organization. Because of partners like all of these organizations, nearly 500 students, faculty, and families in New Orleans were able to participate, experience the excitement of the game being in their city, and imagine new futures. If your organization believes science, sports, and joy belong together, and that every child deserves a front row seat to the future, we should talk!

Bella, Hypnos, and Nevaeh are three powerhouse designers from the Best Buy Teen Tech Centers that managed to blow expectations right out of the water! They were paired with Microsoft mentors Joe Diaz, Laura Navarrete, and Obaida Shabaneh as they took on the challenge to design and paint custom cleats for Caleb Williams to rock on the field. We were able to get them Microsoft Surface devices to design on, hosted Microsoft Copilot AI skilling & design workshops, and now their creativity and courage are taking the spotlight on the field. Bourgogne Kinlaw, MBA shared thisOver the last few months, I’ve stepped into a new chapter as I build on 15+ years of experience in program management, partnerships, comms/marketing, and community impact, and I’m finally doing it in a way that fully aligns with my own vision. This season has reminded me that my value isn’t tied to an organization. It shows up in how I collaborate, connect, and bring people, partners, and purpose together. And that’s exactly why this transition into entrepreneurship has been such a learning experience, challenging at times, but honestly one of the best shifts I’ve made. In the photos here, I’m highlighting one project that has been so much fun: collaborating with Nia J., co-chair of Microsoft’s BlackLight community. She shared a need, and I helped identify the right partner - Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams. Together, we’re creating a Letters of Kindness book using 90+ Microsoft employee submissions to help students express themselves and build emotional awareness, all while supporting fundraising efforts for Caleb’s nonprofit—impact + alignment at its best. My growth hasn’t stopped either. I’m leaning into the 2025–2026 leadership cohort with my chapter, Alpha Alpha Pi Omega of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, which is stretching how I show up as a leader in all areas of my life. This transition hasn’t happened alone. I’m grateful for the clients who’ve trusted me, the mentors and partners who’ve poured into me, and my friends/ family who’ve encouraged me, listened to my ideas, and opened doors when I needed it. You know who you are, and I appreciate you deeply. As I step further into this season of entrepreneurship, here’s a snapshot of projects I’m kicking off and wrapping up - just to share the type of work I’m leading right now: • supporting a team of women on a fundraising initiative for a nationally recognized faith leader • helping a young athlete expand his brand through purpose-driven programming • partnering with a women-led brand celebrating brilliance, beauty, and confidence • supporting a Chicago leader expanding mental-health resources for families and athletes • collaborating with a storyteller in Inglewood, CA, elevating community voices • aligning a major retail organization’s youth-focused cause with an NFL player’s platform and mission • building the comms + brand strategy layer for a youth football training program This is the work that fuels me. This Young CEO Program continues to grow because of the strong team Rashidah Jones - MSW, PSM-I, CPCC has pulled together, people committed to mentoring and making sure these young adults have the resources to thrive. On this day, we sat with Jay (Jeezy), who shared powerful lessons on overcoming adversity, pivoting as an entrepreneur, and adapting to change, wisdom that’s helping both the students and the team as we keep moving this work forward. I’m excited to keep bringing new opportunities, partnerships, and resources to these students as they thrive and grow. And on my own entrepreneurship journey, it’s been a blessing to support nonprofits and small businesses with program and project management, helping them build the kind of programs that make real impact in their communities!

ARC Advisory Co. is a proud partner of the Delta Air Lines Supplier Academy Accelerator, and yesterday was our first session with the cohort. For those who do not know, the Delta Supplier Academy Accelerator is Delta Air Lines' program designed to develop and grow their supplier base. We are talking about roughly 250 vendors, business owners who are already in the room with one of the most recognized brands in the world. These are not aspiring entrepreneurs. These are operators. And they deserve the kind of capital strategy advice that actually matches where they are. That is exactly what Keven Gayle CEPA® and I showed up to deliver for Arc Advisory Co LLC . Our first session was on Capital Readiness for companies serving large corporations. And here is what most people miss about this specific type of business: the bigger your client, the bigger the gap between when you do the work and when you get paid. Winning a contract with Delta, Boeing, or Amazon is not the finish line. It is actually a little late to have a capital plan. We talked about how money actually moves. Where 65% of small business lending really happens and why most founders are fishing in the wrong pool. How to read a lender the way a lender reads you. And how to use the contracts you already have as leverage you are probably not using. We sent every founder home with tools they could use the next day. There is more coming. We will be back with this cohort and we are just getting started. Now let me ask you something, because I think about this a lot: If you are a small or mid-size business serving Fortune 500 companies, do you actually have a capital strategy built around those relationships? Our Pour It Forward event at Halfway Crooks brought together neighbors, parents, local businesses, volunteers, board members, and longtime friends of East Atlanta Kids Club around a simple idea: young people in our neighborhood deserve safe, creative, visible places to belong. Between Pour It Forward ticket sales, event-related giving, and the early momentum behind our youth-powered skateshop campaign, our community has now raised or pledged more than $20,000 from 100+ supporters (105 to be exact) over the last two weeks. That matters. It matters because this project, like our ongoing out-of-school-time programming, is not just about opening a small skateshop. It is about building a pathway between skating, art, design, entrepreneurship, creative production, and real youth leadership in East Atlanta Village. It is about giving teens a public-facing space where they are not treated as a problem to manage, but as people with skills, taste, ideas, labor, and something meaningful to contribute to the culture of this neighborhood. Now we need philanthropy, corporate giving partners, and donor-advised fund holders to help meet the community’s momentum. Neighbors and small businesses have already stepped forward. They have given what they can. They have shown that this idea and our broader work has real local energy behind it. The next layer of support can help us pilot this well with the staffing, space, equipment, insurance, inventory, and operating runway needed to make this more than a good idea. For foundations and DAF holders interested in youth development, creative workforce pathways, place-based community infrastructure, third spaces, and family stabilization, this is a chance to invest in a project that is both practical and imaginative. For corporate partners, especially those connected to retail, design, sport, apparel, construction, food, logistics, or creative industries, this is a chance to help young people build skills in a real-world, neighborhood-rooted environment. Huge thanks to Halfway Crooks Beer for being a gracious host for Pour it Forward once more and to everyone who has already given, shared, encouraged, or asked how to help. If you believe young people deserve more third spaces, more creative pathways, and more reasons to feel rooted in their own neighborhood, I hope you’ll consider supporting the youth-led skateshop and third space campaign or introducing us to a foundation, company, or DAF holder who should be part of this. But if you're like, hmm… I have no clue what those letters mean, fair enough 😂 I got you… this means... 😆🙌🏾 I am now a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation, and I'm sooo so proud of myself!!! 🎉😏 ICF selected a small group for the Pilot Exam and I was one of them. I took it in January 2026, results were released last week, and the 😅 wait was so worth it! 🫶🏾 I grew to love the coaching space while working at #YearUp, where I sat with and was inspired by young people literally all day, every day. Coaching was built into my work there, and as I coached these amazing young people, it truly changed what I saw as possible for myself. I kept my ear to the streets, and when the opportunity to start my coaching journey came, I did not let it pass. I began in January 2022, a 4+ year journey that stretched me in ways I did not expect. I am excited about earning this, but more importantly, I'm excited because this certification is about access.🖤 THIS credential is bigger than letters. It’s access. It’s visibility. It’s a signal to individuals that there are coaches who look like them, in their community and online ecosystem, ready and experienced. Coaches who may understand their context and lived experiences, and most importantly, because coaching is a fairly unregulated space (which is why #ICF is so important), are credentialed like any other helping professional. And that is the real reason why this matters to me, to the people I coach and the communities I'm called to support. Representation in the coaching space matters, and adding these credentials broadens my reach. Period. VIP Board Training Program - Spring 2015
United Way of Greater Atlanta
United Way’s VIP is a 10-week, 40-hour training program offered in spring, summer and fall. It is designed to develop and enhance leadership skills, increase diverse volunteer participation in nonprofit board and leadership positions, in the greater Atlanta communities. VIP gives participants the tools to serve as effective board members of local nonprofit agencies. Workshops include fundraising, strategic planning, marketing, and financial and legal decision making.

The selection committee reviews applications and selects no more than 25 individuals per class. The selection criteria are designed to recruit a group of demonstrated leaders who are diverse in their ethnicity, profession and community service. -
